About: I have owned and cared for all manner of animals my entire life. Dogs hold a special place in my heart and I love sharing the freedom and companionship at the ranch. I work full time at the ranch house, so your dogs will never be alone. My family and I love meeting new dogs and playing with each new personality. I have a fully fenced 5 1/2 acre farm complete with friendly yet inaccessible goats and chickens. I own two of my own dogs who are fully obedience trained and medically up-to-date. Dogs are allowed to come in and out of the house at their own leisure.

About: Welcome to Calusa Kennels and Dog Retreat. We aim to be the last dog boarding service you will ever need in the Fort Myers, Estero, Corkscrew area. Both my wife, Samantha, and I have owned dogs our entire lives. We each have decades of experience caring for dogs of all sizes, including our own dogs and other people's. Aside from providing any necessary care, I am experienced with training, including obedience and training bird dogs. Samantha is a nurse in the Trauma ICU and we both have experience providing basic medical care to pets. Dog boarding is our main priority and we are accepting dogs 24/7. Pet care IS our routine. We are Currently working on installing a new facility on our property which will increase our capacity for boarding. I have been watching family and friends pets since I was about 10. I will care for your babies as if they were my own. Being a vet tech, your fur babies will be safe and sound with me. I am very good under pressure due to being a soldiers wife. I am a confident dog walker and like to go different routes as to keep the dogs simulated and not bored. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me. I am also available for large animals if needed. I am very comfortable around all large animals. I am a stay at home mom so I am typically available to be home everyday. I have a flexible schedule and am not gone for more than a few hours at a time if I can help it. While my yard is not fenced at the moment I have a ton of space for them to run. If their recall needs work, I hand walk and/or a tie out (never for more than 2 hours at a time) that is next to the doggy pool under a large oak tree.

About: I have been pet sitting since I was 16 years old. I love animals. I have pet sit dogs and owned my own for 30 years. I have been with 4 dogs at any given time. They are the companion that is always there to bring us happiness and ask for nothing but love in return. Add a pat on the head, a rub on the belly and a little exercise. Some water, food and attention. Our dogs may not be all of our life, but they help make us complete whether we are alone or with family. The world is a nicer place because our dogs love unconditionally, they are our companions. And you care enough to give them the very best at all times. I have the love, and care to help give that to your pets while you are away. What is a dog to most people : ... My perspective ... A dog isn't just a dog. They are family. Sometimes the only family you have, or can have in my experience despite wanting to have an actual family or even a loved one that loves you unconditionally, friend, family, coworker or that employer who says we are like family here than treats you like crap. A dog (or pet of some kind) always will. So a dog becomes your fur companion who fills your day with love, joy and and an unwavering spirit. From the first day you bring that pet (for me, my dogs) their playful spirit, and energy, their special gentle nature will make that dog impossible forget. They are there to comfort, to make us laugh, and to remind us of the beauty in life's simple moments. Most pets or my dogs, and I well they have a special way of making everyone feel special around them. They wag their tail like a metronome, their eyes always filled with love, and their presence make every day a little brighter. Whether we are out on adventures or just curled up together, my dogs and yours' too give us a sense of peace and belonging. When it is their time to say good bye, your heart is so heavy and filled with sadness, but you also feel so incredibly blessed to have had that dog in your life. In my home, I have a fenced yard, lighted at night and security of Ring lights, sound and video footage and the dogs have 24/7 access to and from the home through a pet door and also a water fountain just for pets.

About: I’ve worked with dogs for over 20 years and have interned with over 5 different pet care professionals as well as top trainers. I’m skilled in introducing dogs into new pack dynamics and helping new dog owners learn body language and how their pets communicate with one another. My typical client would be a dog who would not do well in a traditional boarding environment. Whether it's the chaotic environment or the lack of educated staff a lot of dogs became anxious or aggressive when they are placed into positions they should never be placed into. In these large corporate environments the dogs lack a sense of safety and security. They are placed in situations where they have to be on guard or defend themselves and then they are "punished" or "shamed" for having done so. In reality it's the staff who are 💯 liable for putting dogs in such large groups without any proper adjustment period or proper introductions. I welcome all dogs of all breeds and sizes. I have no prejudices against any breed and am well educated on each breeds specific needs and tendencies. I can take any dog wether aggressive or friendly and have them ingrained into a pack within a week. Dogs were meant to be in packs and sometimes aggression or reactivity is paved out of fear or lack of knowledge and education for the dog. When dogs are not in ideal Situations as puppies they may not have learned how to be in group dynamics or how to read their own language. If you find yourself in either situation feel free to reach out with any questions! I Dog sit full time. Only time I’m not at home is if I’m doing a house call or running errands . I’m never away more than 1.5-2 hours at a time and when I’m away my helper is here with the dogs providing 24/7 supervision. Fences are checked daily for escape routes and dogs are never left outdoors unattended. Playgroups are always supervised and monitored. When dogs are indoors and eating meals they are sectioned off with Partions and doggies corrals to provide safety. At night they are all separated besides dogs that are siblings and accustomed to sleeping together .
