About: Although I recently joined Rover, I have taken care of animals consistently for 3 years+ on the Islands with excellent references and past experiences. I moved 2 years ago to the Islands to pursue working with animals full time and follow my calling to be of service to animals in a deeper way. I am vegan and have been for 6 years now for my love and respect of animals. I also grew up with a dog and cat so have years of experience with them, including training my dog when he was a puppy ~ I have experience with puppies & kittens, adult dogs and senior dogs of all sizes. I also have experience with farm animals (horses, cows, pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, turkeys) I have administered medications to animals as well - I love to spend as much quality time as I can like going on long walks, riding to the beach together, and cozily working from home together so that they can feel loved and cared for while you are away🌺 I work full time online as a women’s coach and can work from anywhere - I can work my schedule around any needs or any special requests that you have for them - I want to keep them as comfortable as possible and staying close to their daily routines I take care of animals typically in the client’s home, always respecting your home and leaving it cleaner than I found it 🪷 I have also done other work around the house such as taking care of clients’ airbnbs, plant care, and am happy to take care of your garden or do any extra chores/tasks

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve personally cared for dogs, cats, and small animals throughout my life, and my experience extends well beyond pet ownership. I hold a degree in biology with coursework focused on animal behavior, physiology, and research. This background helps me better understand animal body language, behavior, and individual needs. I’ve worked with a wide variety of species, including exotic hoofstock and birds in a zoological setting, as well as pigs, goats, and birds through wildlife rescue and animal care work. About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes and have cared for dogs my whole life. I don’t currently have a dog, so I’d love to give your doggies some love! I am a freelance photographer so my schedule is very flexible and can be available for check ins throughout the day or scheduled walks and stays. I have an unfenced yard away from the street and I am also happy to take your dog for a beach day or hike outside of my home.

About: I worked in a dog boarding and pet day care facility all through high school. Afterwards I did dog walking and pet sitting for those same families after I graduated and continued until recently when I moved. I grew up with lots of pets and I love every single one of them. Dogs hold a very special place in my heart. I have practice dispensing medication to animals due to my past job experience. I’m very active and love playing with dogs and taking them for walks. I also volunteered in my local animal shelter in the beginning of college. I’ve spent plenty of time around dogs, cats, and lots of other animals through out my life. About: From having a pet dog, to dogsitting and catsitting countless times throughout my life, I’ve learned how to meet the needs of each animal- from puppies & kittens to the elderly of all different shapes and sizes! It’s important to me to make sure they’re getting enough love and care throughout the day. I believe taking care of a pet’s emotional needs is just as important as meeting them physically, so I do my best to make sure they’re staying happy and comfortable while they await the arrival of their parents later on :) My week availability is very open as I’m in between jobs, so I have a lot of free time to dedicate to pet lovin’ on Mondays-Fridays, especially between 9 am to 7 pm. About: I have taken care of all kinds of pets for over 40 years. I have trained all sizes of dogs for obedience and hand signal commands. About: Ever since I was young, I’ve loved animals. I grew up helping my family foster and train german shepherd puppies who would become seeing eye dogs. Since then, I’ve had three dogs of my own and pet sat for other’s dogs, cats, and even goats. I currently don’t have any pets and would love to get some doggy time in walking your dogs! I’m a full time nursing student but I’m free on Fridays between 9:30am-3:30pm to walk your dog! If your dog is friendly with kids, I’m more flexible - just reach out and we can arrange something. I’m really looking forward to it! Whether I’m walking your dog around the neighborhood or taking them on a hike (with your approval), their safety is my first priority. About: My name is Travis and I love cats, dogs and any animal for that matter. I have a small, laid back ChiPin (chihuahua/miniature pinscher) of my own and thought this to be the perfect opportunity to make some extra cash, socialize my pup (who Loves playing with other animals), stay active and help people who need to report to work or just have a beach day. About: Local to Big Island for the last 6 years, based in upper palisades but willing to travel up to 25 miles. I have 10+ years of animal experience - beginning with volunteering at my local humane society and animal shelters at the age of 16, to training service dogs for children with autism for National Service Dogs and later on becoming a certified dog trainer. While completing my undergraduate degree I worked at 2 different pet stores and dog walked & dog sat for cash on weekends. I have been house/dog sitting regularly for 4+ years for two local families - one of which with 3 elderly wiener dogs and the other with two high energy samoyed puppies turned adult pups. My undergraduate degree is in Animal Biology, and my graduate degree is in Animal Behaviour & Welfare - both completed at University of Guelph in Canada where I was born. Although my specialization was in African penguins, I have lots of love for fluffier animals too. I have worked in the veterinary industry for 3+ years as a vet assistant/technician, but since moving back to Hawaii I’ve moved into the tourism industry. I am comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and have experience working with dogs of all breeds and ages. I’m currently working part time in the tourism industry, so I have plenty of flexibility in my schedule to accommodate Rover care needs for my clients. With plenty of experience pet sitting and house sitting, I realize that every situation is going to be slightly different — I try to match what the pets are used to first and foremost, the walks pet owners tend to take their dogs on and do activities that are already a part of the pets routine. Though I never let dogs off leash while dog sitting, even if owners usually do; the possibility of losing a pet is not something I’m comfortable with, so better safe than sorry.
