About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember! I have experience with everything from horses and livestock, to birds, reptiles and fish. I am currently working very part time (3 hours a day) at a Kennel. I am usually always home by 11 am and am only away from home for a very short time. I have a large fenced yard, but will crate or kennel pets while unsupervised for a very short amount of time. I spend a majority of my time at home with my own pets and hanging out in the yard.

I still walk him to this day even though I no longer live in the neighborhood. The dog can be aggressive with other people and animals but is always affectionate towards me. I had to train the dog how to walk on a leash as it had not been walked in years. At first, the dog was a bit wild and did not know what to do. Now, he can heel and listens to commands. He even sits for some treats! I know how to use caution and practice safety measures when walking the dog so that others and the aggressive dog are kept safe and unharmed. I have a bleeding heart for animals. I am great with animals of all ages, personalities, and fitness levels! I am a social worker and love to give pets as much attention as possible! About: My family of thirteen always had cats and dogs in the house. I learned early to pick up the slack and make sure their needs were met. As an adult, I've volunteered with animal shelters and I am always looking for a reason to play with a new animal. I am unafraid, a little barking or growling won't sway me; I can happily administer unrequited love until they warm up. But it never takes long. Your pet was probably meant to meet me 😇 Your pet will take absolute priority while in my care. I do work but with advance bookings, I may be able to work around whatever schedule you’d prefer I kept with your pets. At your request, I can definitely go on regular jogs or outings with them too, but I will always plan to leave a job having made a new friend in your pet. About: I worked in a dog boarding and pet day care facility all through high school. Afterwards I did dog walking and pet sitting for those same families after I graduated and continued until recently when I moved. I grew up with lots of pets and I love every single one of them. Dogs hold a very special place in my heart. I have practice dispensing medication to animals due to my past job experience. I’m very active and love playing with dogs and taking them for walks. I also volunteered in my local animal shelter in the beginning of college. I’ve spent plenty of time around dogs, cats, and lots of other animals through out my life. About: Local to Big Island for the last 6 years, based in upper palisades but willing to travel up to 25 miles. I have 10+ years of animal experience - beginning with volunteering at my local humane society and animal shelters at the age of 16, to training service dogs for children with autism for National Service Dogs and later on becoming a certified dog trainer. While completing my undergraduate degree I worked at 2 different pet stores and dog walked & dog sat for cash on weekends. I have been house/dog sitting regularly for 4+ years for two local families - one of which with 3 elderly wiener dogs and the other with two high energy samoyed puppies turned adult pups. My undergraduate degree is in Animal Biology, and my graduate degree is in Animal Behaviour & Welfare - both completed at University of Guelph in Canada where I was born. Although my specialization was in African penguins, I have lots of love for fluffier animals too. I have worked in the veterinary industry for 3+ years as a vet assistant/technician, but since moving back to Hawaii I’ve moved into the tourism industry. I am comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and have experience working with dogs of all breeds and ages. I’m currently working part time in the tourism industry, so I have plenty of flexibility in my schedule to accommodate Rover care needs for my clients. With plenty of experience pet sitting and house sitting, I realize that every situation is going to be slightly different — I try to match what the pets are used to first and foremost, the walks pet owners tend to take their dogs on and do activities that are already a part of the pets routine. Though I never let dogs off leash while dog sitting, even if owners usually do; the possibility of losing a pet is not something I’m comfortable with, so better safe than sorry.

About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember! I have experience with everything from horses and livestock, to birds, reptiles and fish. I am currently working very part time (3 hours a day) at a Kennel. I am usually always home by 11 am and am only away from home for a very short time. I have also worked to educate the family on what it means to be a dog owner and treat the pup like a family member. Dogs just yearn to protect and be close to thier pack (owners). I still walk him to this day even though I no longer live in the neighborhood. The dog can be aggressive with other people and animals but is always affectionate towards me. I had to train the dog how to walk on a leash as it had not been walked in years. At first, the dog was a bit wild and did not know what to do. Now, he can heel and listens to commands. He even sits for some treats! I know how to use caution and practice safety measures when walking the dog so that others and the aggressive dog are kept safe and unharmed. I have a bleeding heart for animals. I am great with animals of all ages, personalities, and fitness levels! I am a social worker and love to give pets as much attention as possible! I am sensitive to their needs and always make sure your pet is comfortable. I treat them as one of my own. I am available to dog-sit/ house-sit or board most dogs as long as they are house trained.
About: I grew up on a farm with dogs and cats and horses and birds. I love animals and have trained many dogs throughout my life. I have a big fenced in yard and my 14 year old dog just passed away, crushing my soul. Until I ever feel ok again to get another dog, I thought I could love someone else’s dog while helping them out!
