“We reached out to Jessica to watch our (at the time) 9 week old goldendoodle puppy named Noodle and she has been fantastic with him! A little story to illustrate my point - when we first got our puppy, my fiance wanted him to stay home in a playpen while we were working and I insisted we hire a sitter. Now every time we take Noodle outside, he tries to take himself on a walk! It is obvious he loves his time with Jessica and she is great at communicating with us and reinforcing the training techniques we're working on. Plenty of love I have to give, but I also have the experience of 35 years as a science teacher. I’m well-versed in how animals like dogs and cats talk to us through their gestures. Dogs evolved with humans, and I understand that relationship and how dogs meet our emotional needs. The pet owner decides when treats are allowed, if table scraps are allowed, and how much food to give. The dog decides when it wants to go potty. 😉 Just in case, I usually take the dog out before it decides and always before any discomfort. We can also use FaceTime or Zoom to check in. 🐶🤩 At age 61, I’ve been a retired teacher for 3 years, and my activity level allows me to run or play with your beloved dog. In your home, I follow instructions and do the routine for your beloved just like you would. However, if I’m allowed to give more snuggles, or more walks, or more training than you normally have time for, I’m at your service.
About: I’ve grown up raising 2 toy poodles from my childhood. Now as an adult I adopted my first dog of my own, Mabel, who is an 5yr old lab! I also have horses, so have been around all sorts of animals my whole life. Love any and all sizes and breeds of pups! I work from home so my schedule is very flexible and can do last minute/short notice requests no problem! If you need me to spend a little more time with your pet, I can easily bring my work computer with me. I would treat your home as my own. Follow any/all rules you may have as well as rules for your pet. My dog is crate trained when away so I am comfortable having anything to do around crating.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
