About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, but in my adult life I’ve gotten my own 3 labs. They are so special to me and I treat them like my children. I am home all day, (I work remotely) so I am able to keep an eye on your pets 24/7! If I had your dog(s) here they’d get treated the same way as my own babies. We all love to go on long energizing walks, but if your dog prefers to walk alone I can do that too! I currently work full time remotely 8-4:30, so it is very easy for me to keep and eye on your pets! I am fully available on the weekends as well. (Per schedule) I have 3 SUPER friendly dogs, they are very big hits at the dog park. I do sleep with them and allow them on the furniture. I can easily crate a dog if needed as I have 3 that I used for my dogs that they do not need anymore. I don’t have a fenced in yard as my dogs have an invisible fence, but they don’t get let out unsupervised and I do have a lead/chain that I can attach to my back deck.

About: As far as experience goes there isn’t a time in my life I remember that I wasn’t caring for an animal. From reptiles, to rodents, to cats and dogs, I’ve had them all. From a young age I was taught responsibility and discipline when it came to caring for tiny creatures. Additionally for over two years I volunteered weekly at a local animal shelter. During this time I gained knowledge as to how animals interacted with one another, how to properly administer medication, warning signs to look out for, what to do in emergencies, and deeply studied animal behavior. To add on to that I am currently employed at a doggie daycare. During my time here not only have I gotten to widen my horizons when it came to taking care of animals but I have learned hands on how to bandage a wound, what to do in animal confrontations as well as how to handle the unexpected such as sickness or seizures. Additionally over the last 3 years I have volunteered at different animal welfare programs across the globe. These include Portugal, Puerto Rico, Tanzania and soon Hawaii. During this time I have not only seen hands on other cultures way of taking care of animals but also gained knowledge as to how to better the animal care I provide to clients. As I previously stated I currently am employed at a doggie daycare. Additionally I work at a bakery as well. My schedule changes weekly so it can be hard to give an exact time frame when booking. Typically I work up to 8 hour shifts. I typically prefer to stay in clients homes to keep their pets safe and happy in their own environment. I will be there in the morning before work, and will immediately come back when I get off as well as being there at night. I try to spend as much time as possible with the pets while you are away I typically only offer staying in the clients home and I am comfortable crating animals while gone. I always keep things like medications safely out of reach and secured. Additionally upon booking I typically ask about any health notes, allergies, or special needs as well as a good contact number for your vet in case of emergency.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, growing up with dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, fish, and even a tarantula, animals have always been such an important part of my life. Even though they can’t talk, they quickly become your best friend and constant companion. I believe every animal deserves to be treated with love, kindness, and the best care possible, no matter their age, size, or breed. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with everything from training playful puppies to helping care for senior dogs, including giving medications and basic health care. I also adopted my two kittens when they were just four months old, and they’re now happy, healthy three-and-a-half-year-olds. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do, it’s something I truly enjoy. Hi there! I’m new to Mayville and have open availability to walk, play with, and care for your furry loved ones. I always make sure fresh food and clean water are provided, with bowls cleaned regularly to keep everything sanitary. Whether it’s brushing, playing fetch, going on nice long walks, or just giving them lots of attention and love—your pet’s happiness and care are my top priority! I make sure that my cats home environment is safe for them to roam and not get into too much mischief. Water bowls are cleaned. Food is rotated. Pee pads are changed out and litter is changed once a month while cleaning litter box out daily. I am sure that my cats live in a safe environment and are happy and healthy.

About: I have grown up around cats and dogs my entire life. I enjoy spending time taking care of others. I am patient and compassionate, your pets well-being will be my #1 priority. I work part time as a CNA in a long term care facility. I am also attending college part time to purse a career in nursing. Over the years I have cared for numerous of my own cats and dogs. Simply by spending quality time with them every day, walking my dogs and cuddling with my cats. I know the importance of spending time with animals and I understand their basic everyday needs.

“We reached out to Jessica to watch our (at the time) 9 week old goldendoodle puppy named Noodle and she has been fantastic with him! A little story to illustrate my point - when we first got our puppy, my fiance wanted him to stay home in a playpen while we were working and I insisted we hire a sitter. Now every time we take Noodle outside, he tries to take himself on a walk! It is obvious he loves his time with Jessica and she is great at communicating with us and reinforcing the training techniques we're working on. We will continue to book with Jessica as long as she will put up with Noodle.”

Dogs evolved with humans, and I understand that relationship and how dogs meet our emotional needs. Please read my first four reviews which I received from pet owners that I served even before signing up with Rover. The pet owner decides when treats are allowed, if table scraps are allowed, and how much food to give. The dog decides when it wants to go potty. 😉 Just in case, I usually take the dog out before it decides and always before any discomfort. Snuggles welcome. 🐾🥰😻 When serving you and your pet, I like to send pictures. We can also use FaceTime or Zoom to check in. 🐶🤩 At age 61, I’ve been a retired teacher for 3 years, and my activity level allows me to run or play with your beloved dog. In your home, I follow instructions and do the routine for your beloved just like you would. However, if I’m allowed to give more snuggles, or more walks, or more training than you normally have time for, I’m at your service.

Almost 20 years later I am still loving on pets whenever I can. I currently own a Bearded Dragon and a senior pup - But I owned special needs kitties for 19 years. Here's some about me and my experience! 70% of my one-time clients have booked me again or become regular clients! About: I have taken care of pets for 23 years! I also have experience in watching friend’s pets around DC. I’m excellent at playing with pets and also very responsible in caring for them. I am able to care for pets in between working on projects. I’m a freelancer, so I have lots of flexibility in my schedule that I can use to come watch pets! I keep my responsibilities on a timed schedule, so I never forget to take dogs on a walk or feed cats promptly. I am very energetic and love to play around, if the pet is interested.

I have owned multiple dogs throughout my life and many other types of animals. I love to be active and outdoors. I have a big open back yard for your dog to run around in. I also am knowledgeable with dogs that have separation anxiety.Leaving you're pet with me is like leaving your pet at a Royal Castle for animals. I promise I will love and spoil your baby. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was in middle school. My family dog is 17 years old now so I also have experience working with senior dogs. I live in a great neighborhood with many dog parks and my apartment complex has a dog run behind it. I have also trained and foster puppies before so I am familiar with positive behavioral reinforcement and do not believe in punishing dogs. I have worked in mental health for over 10 years as a therapist so I also have an amble amount of patience. Mondays and Fridays I work remotely so I am available for mid-day potty breaks on top of offering afternoon/evening/overnight care. I also have some flexibility to work remotely other days as well. My typical schedule is as below: Mondays: Available any time (working remotely) Tuesdays: Available after 5 pm Wednesdays: Available after 5 pm Thursdays: Available after 7 pm Fridays: Available any time (working remotely) Saturdays: Available anytime Sundays: Available anytime Do you have specific time requests, let's chat and find a way to work together! I do not have any dogs in my apartment but there are many friendly dogs in the neighborhood I've observed. I love dogs and always take my job of dog sitting seriously. Dogs deserve to be taken care of the right way! I know safe places to go for walks in my neighborhood, I am very vigilant to not let dogs put anything harmful in their mouths, and I ensure my apartment is very dog safe.

About: I have been around dogs my whole life and am now a proud owner for the past 1.5 years! I’m around 1-2 times throughout a typical work day to let my puppy out. She rules this house so no furniture or beds are off limits, which is extended to all the dogs that come into my home (I’ve recently become the extended family dog sitter due to my work schedule). Monday’s-Thursdays I am home 1-2 times during the typical work day for about a half hour each time. Fridays and weekends I’m typically home most of the day, maybe running errands here and there. Allie rules the house here! She is allowed on furniture and beds and this would extend to your baby too. We spend a lot of time outside with water always available and I’m always out with her. We have tons of toys and she doesn’t mind sharing them.

About: I've cared for puppies and senior dogs alike. I've been taking care of dogs my entire life and I am familiar with all breeds. From Daschund to German Shepherd I have been with them all. I currently even own a very well trained Dachshund and shes almost 2 I'm available most everyday rain or shine. I am very attentive and capable of taking care of most any dog. I always take the necessary time to care for a dog as they need it and when they need it I don't offer this service, but I am willing to take care of your pets in your home at any time that you may need it.
