David did an awesome job boarding a new-to-me dog for a day and a night. He definitely cares about the animals he’s taking care of and treats them like part of his family. My dog got plenty of socializing with people and other dogs, and David was good with sending lots of status updates. he’ll definitely be my first choice for future boarding.

Mary was once again so wonderful to work with. She was so flexible with our travel schedule! The dogs did great! I'm sad that we have moved and won't be close to Mary anymore, but I would highly recommend her services. Especially for smaller senior dogs!

My dog had a wonderful time at this house and I received many pictures of her having fun. The family was also accommodating to our needs when we had some trouble getting back at the time we predicted.

About: I have been around dogs my whole life and am now a proud owner for the past 1.5 years! I’m around 1-2 times throughout a typical work day to let my puppy out. She rules this house so no furniture or beds are off limits, which is extended to all the dogs that come into my home (I’ve recently become the extended family dog sitter due to my work schedule). Monday’s-Thursdays I am home 1-2 times during the typical work day for about a half hour each time. Fridays and weekends I’m typically home most of the day, maybe running errands here and there. Allie rules the house here! She is allowed on furniture and beds and this would extend to your baby too. We spend a lot of time outside with water always available and I’m always out with her. We have tons of toys and she doesn’t mind sharing them.

My brother has taken his dog Bentley to ruby for a while now and always said great things about her and the farm. She’s very welcoming and accepted my dog Paul right away - almost a last minute request. She sent me snap chats showing me how much fun he was having. He was a little antsy when I got him home but then he passed out for the rest of the night after all the fun he had at Ruby’s. Will definitely use again in the future for boarding! Thanks Ruby!

About: I have grown up around dogs my whole life and I've had my first (adult life) dog for three and a half year. Wila Rose is an Australian Cattle Dog mix. About a year and a half ago we added another rescue, Buckley Quinn. He is a smart but goofy boy. They both go backpacking with us and we do a lot of hiking on our local public land areas. We enjoy playing around in our yard with our limited dog agility set and learning new tricks. We occasionally go swimming but love jumping and exploring new water areas and hiking trails. Wila and Buckley are a huge part of my life. We enjoy hiking, being outdoor, and traveling as much as possible. We do quite a but of training included but not limited to: agility, scent training, shed training, and just some fun party tricks. I am new to Rover so please feel free to reach out with any questions. I have an acre of land (not fenced in). We love to go on walks and sniffaris at our local parks. Buckley loved to play with other dogs and Wila is more of a people dog. They even loves to go backpacking and hiking which often include 10+ miles a day.

It allowed us to enjoy our vacation and not worry about how he was doing. Thanks so much, Marie! We would love to book with you again in the future!

This was our first time leaving our dog Tucker with anyone besides family when we went on vacation & we couldn’t have picked anyone better! We received so many nice pictures, videos & messages about all the fun Tucker was having & really put us at ease about going away for a week. Thank you so much Mary & Brian for treating Tucker just like one of your own doggies. We appreciate everything you did!

Katelynn and her partner have been nothing but wonderful the two times so far our dogs have stayed with them. Friendly, responsible, and reliable. It is hard to be away from furry family members during the holidays, but they made it easy for us to relax and spend time with family knowing that our dogs were well taken care of. We are so thankful to have found them and definitely recommend them for other pet owners looking for a home away from home! Thank you again.

We booked our dog sitter to watch our two extra-large dogs—basically small horses with opinions—and they handled them like absolute pros. We got hilarious photo updates the whole time: naps, zoomies, dramatic “I haven’t been fed in YEARS” faces—the full experience. When we got home the dogs were happy and tired and no one had staged a mutiny. If you have big dogs who think they’re lapdogs, this is the sitter you want. 10/10, would trust them with our oversized chaos monsters again! 🐾😂

Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
