“Cheryl and Josh did an outstanding job of taking care of my “fur baby”. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing that my dog was in good hands. Great communication and they sent lots of pictures. Would definitely book them again.”

“Christiana and her family took excellent care of Nola while we were away. She sent daily pics & updates which made us feel at ease that Nola was being well taken care of and enjoying her stay. We will definitely have Nola stay again! ❤️”

“Cari and her family did a wonderful job taking care of Russell. He got lots of walks, plenty of play time, and tons of snuggles. He especially liked playing with the girls. Will definitely use her again.”

“I was very happy with the care that Erin gave to Seneca. From the pictures and texts I received during my absence, it looked like my pup received a lot of attention. This was the first time I left my 7th-month-old pup with someone other than a family member and I was pleased with the care she was given. I would definitely use Erin's services again.”

“My dog Lydia had a great time here, and very much enjoyed exploring the large fenced back yard. Thanks very much to Maria and Nayibe for taking such good care of her!”

“Again, Jenifer did a wonderful job taking care of our cavapoo Toby so we could go on our Alaskan cruise. It makes it so much easier to travel knowing he is taken so well care of!!!! Thank you so much Jenifer. We really appreciate you!!!”

“No one will give your doggy more attention than Micah! We received photos and videos and other updates of our pup having a great time in a wonderful, roomy setting with opportunities for nature strolls. Highly recommend!”

“Heather and family were great to watch our sweet boy while we were gone! She was easy to communicate with before and during the stay and sent wonderful photos while we were gone. We would definitely use her again and recommend her to others as well!”

“My brother has taken his dog Bentley to ruby for a while now and always said great things about her and the farm. She’s very welcoming and accepted my dog Paul right away - almost a last minute request. She sent me snap chats showing me how much fun he was having. He was a little antsy when I got him home but then he passed out for the rest of the night after all the fun he had at Ruby’s. Will definitely use again in the future for boarding! Thanks Ruby!”

About: I’m a huge animal lover. I have had dogs since I was 5 and trained each one. Love going on walks and going to the park with them. Give them my full attention and care. I’ve volunteered at the humane society before and have also worked on a game reserve. Received a bachelor’s in biology and worked for a vet clinic for 2 years, so your pet will get all the care and love it needs and much more. I’ll make sure your pet is comfortable and happy. I will continue to train dog as well as needed with permission. Very outgoing and bubbly girl with a passion to help out people as well as animals in anyway I can. I have open availability during the week and weekends so I have plenty of time to play with your fur kiddo. I’ll work with your schedule the best my ability to meet your care needs and desires. I have a dog park within a few miles of my apartment complex so your pup will have plenty of space to run and play. I also have a loving 5 year old husky and 2 year old pitbull that will keep your kiddo company and have endless play. While at your home I’ll care for your pet as my own and continue to provide training if need be. If your pet is crate trained I have no problem crating. If pet on medication, I’m very capable to give pets meds to both cats and dogs.

“Jamie was great - excellent communication, was flexible and adjusted times/days accordingly as our travel plans changed. Pets were totally fine when we returned and seemed well exercised, even with poor weather conditions. Would recommend and will hire again!”

“Paul did an amazing job watching our pup! He "warned' us that he would try to exceed our expectations, and no question he absolutely did. We loved all the updates with photos, and the numerous offsite visits to parks was so fun to see. So comforting while we were such a long distance away. We'd recommend Paul to anyone!”

“Millie loved her time with Doreen! She sent lots of pictures and kept us up to date the whole time we were gone! Would definitely come back to Doreen! Highly Recommend”

“We had a great experience and couldn’t be more pleased. David took the time to set up a meet and greet beforehand, which immediately made us feel comfortable leaving our dog in his care. During the week, he kept us updated with regular messages and photos, which we really appreciated - it gave us peace of mind knowing our dog was doing well. It’s clear he genuinely cares, and we would absolutely book with him again. Highly recommend!”

“My dog had a wonderful time at this house and I received many pictures of her having fun. The family was also accommodating to our needs when we had some trouble getting back at the time we predicted.”

“Gilian is just amazing and we are so glad we found her. She has a beautiful home in the country with plenty of open space for dogs to play. She is very knowledgeable in dog behavior and made our dog feel comfortable right away. She kept us updated on how he was doing with photos and notes. She was also great at communication and flexible on scheduling. We highly recommend her.”

“Beth took in Nala after our original plans fell through and everything went wonderful. She kept us updated throughout our stay and went above and beyond to make sure my dog was comfortable. They treated Nala like she was their own. She came home happy! Will book again without hesitation. Highly recommended.”

“Katy & DJ are wonderful. They gave lots of updates. Princess was very comfortable with them and had a great time. I would definitely recommend them if you need a reliable and caring family to watch your fur baby.”

“Amanda was wonderful. She took such good care of my dog and sent me lots of updates throughout his stay. She was super flexible and easy to get ahold of the entire time!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Neda home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Neda.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Neda sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
