About: As far as experience goes there isn’t a time in my life I remember that I wasn’t caring for an animal. From reptiles, to rodents, to cats and dogs, I’ve had them all. From a young age I was taught responsibility and discipline when it came to caring for tiny creatures. Additionally for over two years I volunteered weekly at a local animal shelter. During this time I gained knowledge as to how animals interacted with one another, how to properly administer medication, warning signs to look out for, what to do in emergencies, and deeply studied animal behavior. To add on to that I am currently employed at a doggie daycare. During my time here not only have I gotten to widen my horizons when it came to taking care of animals but I have learned hands on how to bandage a wound, what to do in animal confrontations as well as how to handle the unexpected such as sickness or seizures. Additionally over the last 3 years I have volunteered at different animal welfare programs across the globe. These include Portugal, Puerto Rico, Tanzania and soon Hawaii. During this time I have not only seen hands on other cultures way of taking care of animals but also gained knowledge as to how to better the animal care I provide to clients. As I previously stated I currently am employed at a doggie daycare. Additionally I work at a bakery as well. My schedule changes weekly so it can be hard to give an exact time frame when booking. Typically I work up to 8 hour shifts. I typically prefer to stay in clients homes to keep their pets safe and happy in their own environment. I will be there in the morning before work, and will immediately come back when I get off as well as being there at night. I try to spend as much time as possible with the pets while you are away I typically only offer staying in the clients home and I am comfortable crating animals while gone. I always keep things like medications safely out of reach and secured. Additionally upon booking I typically ask about any health notes, allergies, or special needs as well as a good contact number for your vet in case of emergency.

About: My family has had a dog since I was younger and I currently have a mini goldendoodle. I understand how keeping dogs happy and cared for is vital to ‘owners.’ I have a very flexible and open schedule! I like to take my own dog for longer walks to get energy out and relax our minds together. I love playing with them so they’re not just sitting around unhappy. It’s important to me to make sure all of their needs are met as I believe this affects longevity and overall well-being.

About: I grew up caring for the pets of family members and friends, including feeding, walking, supervising, and providing attentive care while their owners were away. I am currently attending college and have a flexible class schedule, with only two classes per day. This allows me to provide your pets with regular care, including letting them outside before, after, or between my classes. I prioritize your pet’s safety by keeping walks within your neighborhood and only allowing them to play off-leash in a secure, fenced-in backyard when available.

The pet owner decides when treats are allowed, if table scraps are allowed, and how much food to give. The dog decides when it wants to go potty. 😉 Just in case, I usually take the dog out before it decides and always before any discomfort. We can also use FaceTime or Zoom to check in. 🐶🤩 At age 61, I’ve been a retired teacher for 3 years, and my activity level allows me to run or play with your beloved dog. In your home, I follow instructions and do the routine for your beloved just like you would. However, if I’m allowed to give more snuggles, or more walks, or more training than you normally have time for, I’m at your service.

About: Hi! My name is Ryaan, and I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my entire life. Animals have always been a huge part of my family, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I also worked for several years at a doggy daycare and boarding facility, where I gained hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. A little story to illustrate my point - when we first got our puppy, my fiance wanted him to stay home in a playpen while we were working and I insisted we hire a sitter. Now every time we take Noodle outside, he tries to take himself on a walk! It is obvious he loves his time with Jessica and she is great at communicating with us and reinforcing the training techniques we're working on. We will continue to book with Jessica as long as she will put up with Noodle.”

About: I have grown up around cats and dogs my entire life. I enjoy spending time taking care of others. I am patient and compassionate, your pets well-being will be my #1 priority. I work part time as a CNA in a long term care facility. I am also attending college part time to purse a career in nursing. Over the years I have cared for numerous of my own cats and dogs. Even though they can’t talk, they quickly become your best friend and constant companion. I believe every animal deserves to be treated with love, kindness, and the best care possible, no matter their age, size, or breed. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with everything from training playful puppies to helping care for senior dogs, including giving medications and basic health care. I also adopted my two kittens when they were just four months old, and they’re now happy, healthy three-and-a-half-year-olds. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do, it’s something I truly enjoy. Hi there! I’m new to Mayville and have open availability to walk, play with, and care for your furry loved ones. I always make sure fresh food and clean water are provided, with bowls cleaned regularly to keep everything sanitary. Whether it’s brushing, playing fetch, going on nice long walks, or just giving them lots of attention and love—your pet’s happiness and care are my top priority! I make sure that my cats home environment is safe for them to roam and not get into too much mischief. Water bowls are cleaned. Food is rotated. Pee pads are changed out and litter is changed once a month while cleaning litter box out daily. I am sure that my cats live in a safe environment and are happy and healthy.

About: I have taken care of pets for 23 years! I also have experience in watching friend’s pets around DC. I’m excellent at playing with pets and also very responsible in caring for them. I am able to care for pets in between working on projects. I’m a freelancer, so I have lots of flexibility in my schedule that I can use to come watch pets! I keep my responsibilities on a timed schedule, so I never forget to take dogs on a walk or feed cats promptly. I am very energetic and love to play around, if the pet is interested.

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments since I was young. Friends, neighbors, and family regularly trust me to feed, walk, play with, and check in on their pets. About: Hi, my name is Kayla. I am a photographer and caregiver. I am a very compassionate and patient person. I have always been a big animal lover. I have owned multiple dogs throughout my life and many other types of animals. I love to be active and outdoors. I have a big open back yard for your dog to run around in. I also am knowledgeable with dogs that have separation anxiety.Leaving you're pet with me is like leaving your pet at a Royal Castle for animals. I promise I will love and spoil your baby. I currently only work as a photographer so I have an open and adjustable schedule. I get to make my own schedule and work with my clients. I have a big yard for your dog to play in. I also have a dog that love to play and tire each other out. I have two large crates if dogs need to be crated.

About: I have been around dogs my whole life and am now a proud owner for the past 1.5 years! I’m around 1-2 times throughout a typical work day to let my puppy out. She rules this house so no furniture or beds are off limits, which is extended to all the dogs that come into my home (I’ve recently become the extended family dog sitter due to my work schedule). Monday’s-Thursdays I am home 1-2 times during the typical work day for about a half hour each time. Fridays and weekends I’m typically home most of the day, maybe running errands here and there. Allie rules the house here! She is allowed on furniture and beds and this would extend to your baby too. We spend a lot of time outside with water always available and I’m always out with her. We have tons of toys and she doesn’t mind sharing them.

About: I’ve grown up raising 2 toy poodles from my childhood. Now as an adult I adopted my first dog of my own, Mabel, who is an 5yr old lab! I also have horses, so have been around all sorts of animals my whole life. Love any and all sizes and breeds of pups! I work from home so my schedule is very flexible and can do last minute/short notice requests no problem! If you need me to spend a little more time with your pet, I can easily bring my work computer with me. I would treat your home as my own. Follow any/all rules you may have as well as rules for your pet. My dog is crate trained when away so I am comfortable having anything to do around crating.

About: I've cared for puppies and senior dogs alike. I've been taking care of dogs my entire life and I am familiar with all breeds. From Daschund to German Shepherd I have been with them all. I currently even own a very well trained Dachshund and shes almost 2 I'm available most everyday rain or shine. I am very attentive and capable of taking care of most any dog. I always take the necessary time to care for a dog as they need it and when they need it I don't offer this service, but I am willing to take care of your pets in your home at any time that you may need it.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was in middle school. My family dog is 17 years old now so I also have experience working with senior dogs. I live in a great neighborhood with many dog parks and my apartment complex has a dog run behind it. I have also trained and foster puppies before so I am familiar with positive behavioral reinforcement and do not believe in punishing dogs. I have worked in mental health for over 10 years as a therapist so I also have an amble amount of patience. Mondays and Fridays I work remotely so I am available for mid-day potty breaks on top of offering afternoon/evening/overnight care. I also have some flexibility to work remotely other days as well. I do not have any dogs in my apartment but there are many friendly dogs in the neighborhood I've observed. I love dogs and always take my job of dog sitting seriously. Dogs deserve to be taken care of the right way! I know safe places to go for walks in my neighborhood, I am very vigilant to not let dogs put anything harmful in their mouths, and I ensure my apartment is very dog safe.

About: I am eager to learn your dog and build a long lasting relationship! I enjoy training in a fun manner, and having dog parties! I do foster care with a local rescue, which has given me experience in so many different types of dogs, and different histories of where they came from. Full success in every dog that has come into my care. I do work full time during the day, Monday thru Friday. I am open to boarding during that time if we see fit. My weekends are wide open for all the dog love needed! I have a fenced in yard, but still usually attend to the dogs anyway, unless it’s too cold, I’ll watch from the door! I have a very dog friendly dog myself that has become accustomed to meeting new dogs and respecting their boundaries.

About: I have worked with three doggy daycares with different social settings and dynamics small groups to groups of 45. We are trained to care for dogs, of any breed. Poop, or throw up I can handle it. I work part-time my schedule shifts, are Tuesday, and Sunday. However, I can change my shifts to meet your schedule needs. never be afraid to ask and always ask me a week in advance. I have been trained through three different doggy daycare programs that have introduced different training protocols to understand the needs, health, Dog AID, behaviors, and more of different breeds. Your fur babies or little ones will receive all the love and care they need. I will keep you updated with videos, photos, or even FaceTime to show you how everything is going when I visit a client’s home. I always follow and respect the rules, and if I notice anything unusual, I will report it and ask questions, because your pets’ well-being is my top priority.
