“Vicki was fantastic!! I have two dogs with issues a rat terrier that only likes 1 person and a stray we rescued 3 months ago that was thrown away like trash lived on the streets starving and has very bad anxiety. Plus an old cat all 3 have different diets and needs . Vicki stayed and took care of the animals and house and kept me informed on everything. My pets were happy and healthy when I got home from a much needed vacation. I will definitely use Vicki again she has a heart of gold and loves Dogs 🐶”

Through the summer months I am totally open to accept pet sitting, dog walks, feeding, check ins whatever is needed! I work part time during school season. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize consistency, reliability, and making the animal feel safe and comfortable. This includes sticking to feeding times, walks, play, and giving them attention and affection. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely and treat their space with respect. I understand how important trust is when it comes to someone’s pet, so I make sure their animal gets the same level of care and attention I’d give my own.

About: Animal behavior is complex. It has fascinated me from a young age, where I got my start in animal care. From barrel racing horses and showing Irish Wolfhounds, I've been doing it all since I was very small! I worked in multiple show and boarding kennels, vet clinics and pet stores throughout high school and college. I worked as a team lead and assistant trainer at Waggin' Tails ranch for about 5 years, before moving on to work in shelters providing behavioral services. I have a B.S in psychology alongside being a certified dog trainer and behavior consultant. I aim to help you with the skills you want your furry friend to learn, while you are away! We will work on skills and behaviors, and then have a session with you when you get back so you know what we worked on while you were gone! I have a flexible job, so I can do drop ins, walks, etc. Whatever may be needed. I do prioritize sitting animals who may be behaviorally challenged. If I am unable to accommodate you, I have a network of people I can refer you to! Safety is my top priority. All training happens on leash or in a contained space. I am animal first aid and CPR certified. My focus is always on building relationships and rapport with my clients and furry friends.

About: I’ve handled and helped train all sorts of dogs after working at a dog Daycare/Boarding facility for almost a year. I know how to administer medications and help anxious pets. Additionally, I grew up on a farm, raising and helping take care of many different animals (cats, dogs, goats, horses.) About: I am a responsible, reliable, patient and gentle dog owner. I’ve lived with dogs my whole life and know enough about cats as well to take care of them. From friends to family to neighbors, I’ve taken care of many pets and have house sat for as long as a week. I am a junior in college and attend Central Washington University in Ellensburg. I only have class for an hour from 12-1pm. I have great time management and pets are always a priority. I will care for pets however the owner would like, I’m very respectful and would only care for pets how owner would like me too.
