About: Hello! My name is Shawntel and I have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family had 2 dogs and 4 cats. Now I have three dogs that I couldn't imagine my life without them, with two of them being rescues. When I’m booked for house/dog sitting, my dad gets to stay and spend time with his grand-pups (: One is a German Shepard mix, another one is a Pitbull, Husky, Lab mix, and my newest addition is a golden doodle! The German Shepard is a senior so I am used to making accommodations for animals as well as giving mediations. It doesn't matter if they are young or old, big or small, boy or girl-- I love them all. I am currently a first grade teacher in Lake County which I recently took time away from dog sitting to focus on my new position. But now I’m back!! So I am available before and after the school day during the week for your animals and pretty free on the weekends. I am usually pretty flexible so if you need anything special for your animal, just let me know! I also dedicate my summers and school breaks to house/dog sitting! I truly believe that a well taken care of animal is a happy one, and who doesn't want their fur baby happy?! I look forward to meeting you and your sweet animal(s)!! “We don't have a dog, but we do have 2 cats, a tropical fishtank, and backyard chickens. We reached out to Paula for check-in services over a long weekend trip we were so pleased. She had excellent communication right from the start, including special instructions for our little pet family, and she reached out politely in advance to remind me about some last minute details that I still hadn't confirmed with her. During the visits she took pics of the crew and gave an update both nights. (This was good, because Gizmo mewed that he didn't even get any food OR attention all the whole time, but I had photographic proof! Nice try, kitty!! While I do not have a fenced yard, I always keep dogs securely leashed during all outdoor bathroom breaks and walks. About: I am a father of four, ages 4- 10 and work in healthcare. I’ve always cared for animals. We currently have a dog, cat, two guinea pigs, and a bearded dragon. I maintained a fresh water fish tank for over a decade and loved it. I enjoy spending time with animals a great deal, it brings me peace. I’m a full time dad and work part time at a hospital so I’m home a lot. My kids and I have a nightly routine for cleaning and feed our guinea pigs and bearded dragon. My dog is very sweet and her and the cat are best friends. Because I have four kids, there is no shortage of attention for our pets. I have reliable transportation and a pretty open schedule. 3 of my kids are in school during the day and my youngest is in preschool. I take my dog for a walk every day on our quiet street. I have a fenced in back yard and our property is heavily shaded.

About: Hello! My name is Maria and I am very excited to meet your furry friend! I’ve raised 2 large dogs and 2 small dogs so I am comfortable with any size pet. I also worked at a doggie day care center where I worked with all size dogs for 8 plus hours at a time and facilitated friendly play so I am able to handle multiple dogs or cats at a time! I live in the mentor area but am willing to travel as well. Please let me know if this is the type of sitter you are looking for! I work as a nurse so my schedule is pretty flexible. I care for my own pets with walks, park visits, swimming, agility and lots of playing. I am always cautious when taking care of pets in my home or another persons home. I understand that allowing someone into your home can be nerve racking so I am always sure to communicate as much as I can with home owners and follow their specific instructions to ensure the visit goes as smooth as possible.

About: I very much enjoy engaging with and taking care of all types of animals and I have owned and cared for animals since childhood. I have the most experience with cats and dogs but have owned and looked after a range of other pets as well. I can provide the appropriate level of care and attention to your pets that you are looking for and am more than happy to provide as many photos or updates for you to feel good about being away. From puppies to elderly pets I have cared for all ages and types of pets! About: My passion for caring for animals began in childhood while growing up on a farm. From a young age, I helped clean stalls, collect fresh chicken eggs each morning, and care for a variety of animals. I was always the kid begging my parents for more pets, and animals quickly became my greatest source of comfort through a tough childhood. I have over 10 years of hands-on experience working on a horse farm, where I learned the value of consistency, safety, and attentive care. In addition, I’ve fostered bottle-baby kittens, assisted my mom in breeding golden retrievers, and helped raise her litters many times. My love for animals has no boundaries — I’ve worked with everything from farm animals to dogs, cats, and even jumping spiders, which I currently breed. I have two dogs of my own — Meme, who is 6, and Pia, who is 3 — and they are my whole heart. They have a daily routine I take seriously: outside time at 6:00 a.m., treats before I head to work, a midday potty break, and an evening 30-minute walk at 5:30 p.m. On weekends, we enjoy adventures at the park or exploring new places. I understand how important structure and routine are for pets, and I treat every animal in my care as if they were my own. Over the years, I’ve provided a wide range of pet care — from weekend stays to week-long vacations — both in my home and in others’. Whether it’s an active pup needing exercise, a senior dog requiring gentle attention, or a young animal that needs extra patience, I’m flexible, attentive, and committed to giving each pet the love, safety, and care they deserve. My pups have an entire routine each day. In the morning they go outside at 6:00 am. I do have a fenced in back yard, so I leave my sliding glass door open so they may come in and out. The get treats in the morning before I go to work. I do return home for lunch to let them out to potty. I return home around 5:30 each day and we go for a 30 minute walk. They get their bedtime treat and we start again the next day. On weekends I do like to take them to the park or on adventures. My pups would love some friends, and sleep overs. I know how important my dogs routine and/or schedules are and I would take your pup’s routine just as seriously. The amount of care I offer for pets on a regular basis always fluctuates. I have had pups for a week long vacation, and I have also had just weekend stays. Various weekends I do stay at others homes and care for their pets. I’m very flexible.
