“Matt is very good at communicating. He was good at following the instructions I left and flexible when my flight was delayed. He took Lacey for walks an made sure she went out for business before he left the house for work. When he did meet and greet a couple weeks prior, Lacey was on antibiotics (pills) and I expected her to be done by the time of my trip. She had to stay on them longer, and Matt made sure she got her pills.”

About: I’ve taken care of family pets my whole life, including Labrador retrievers, rescues, and Pembroke Welsh corgis. I love all dogs, playing, walking and cuddling with them! I currently work at a hospital (3 12hr shifts). On days off, I can pop in whenever, and days that I work would be early in the morning and later in the evening. I know how to properly feed dogs, safely walk them with traffic and other dogs, and play with them to ensure they are getting by exercise and socialization time.

“If you're like us, we look for care providers with multiple reviews so we have a better idea of who we're hiring. But everyone needs to start somewhere, and this time we decided to give someone a chance who hadn't received reviews yet; boy did we luck out. Jaina did a fantastic job looking after our 80 pound loverboy, Luca. She stayed in our home while we were away five days, and both he--and our home--were well taken care of. He even got a daily walk (in winter, no less!). Jaina is who you want in a sitter: responsive, reliable and kind. She provided daily updates and photos of our dog, too. We would hire her again, and suggest you do too before people catch on and her rates go up.”

About: I've always had animals in my house growing up whether that be puppies/kittens or senior dogs/cats. I enjoy spending time with animals and playing with them whenever possible. I also dog/ cat sat for friends and family on numerous occasions. I currently work part-time so I have plenty of time to care for your pet. I am available any weekday at certain times (which can be adjusted if needed) and all day on the weekends. I have cared for my pets in many different ways. I've crate trained my dogs for the most part, but I have also trained them without, so working with crates is something I'm familiar with. I also used to live in an apartment building, so walking dogs came on a daily basis and with ease.

“Anthony was great. Allowing someone access to our home and our dogs was something we’ve never done before, Anthony made the entire process a breeze and settled our worries right away. We set up a meet and greet, he was punctual, outgoing, and friendly.. our 2 German shepherds are normally a little weary of strangers, but they welcomed him right away. Anthony and his wife were so thorough with updates, pictures, etc. We scheduled with him for in-home boarding at our home, he visited with them more times than I expected, he walked them both days too. He cared for our dogs as if they were his own. We will definitely be scheduling with Anthony again in the future.”

About: I am 33 years old, I have had and took care of many dogs during my life. From small breeds to large breeds, sweet, playful and sleepy dogs. Fragile and tough ones, I am guarantee your dog will be safe, get some exercise and lots of love. I work full time in Dowtown Cleveland. Weekends are preferred for full time dogsitting, but also night shifts are welcome during the week. Going on walks, playing, or just making sure they have company, I will be there to help with what you need! I will take care of the dogs at your place, I will follow the routine proposed and the house rules. If you leave a note with instructions I will follow thoroughly.

I currently have two dogs of my own: a Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix and a Cane Corso/Boxer mix, so I’m comfortable handling dogs with very different personalities, energy levels, and care needs. About: I have taken care of pets for nearly 10 years. From Dogs to cat to even birds. I’m the person that will walk your dog in the snow and enjoy it. I am also the person that will play with your cat for an hour straight. Pets are family and that’s how they deserve to be treated. I’m currently a bartender and big time traveler. I’m looking to make extra cash on weekends by doing what I love which is taking care of your little furry ones. I have fenced in yard for my dogs as well as indoor cats. My pets eat twice a day on a cautious diet due to them being elderly. I walk my dogs everyday if I can and play with my cat every single day as he is old but he’s very playful.

About: I worked in the veterinary field for 9 years. I have extensive experience with pets who have fear aggression or need special care due to anxiety or age. I have for the past decade been routinely petsitting or dog walking for friends. I am currently working part time, and my schedule is pretty flexible, so I am open most days to take love and care for your pets!! My main goal in any dog walking or sitting gig is that the pet and the owner are 100% comfortable with me. As a pet owner myself, I know how important our babies are to us. About: I have grown up around animals and when I was 6 years old my family adopted our first dog. Since then, I have understood the importance around having an animal in your life, yet also the responsibility it brings with it. At the age of 12 I joined my sister in her dog walking business. Each day we would walk our neighbors dogs after school whilst making sure they went potty and were properly cared for via instructions given to us. As we grew older we started to watch them over night on weekends, and go with our neighbors to places where they needed help with their dogs. Dogs are not just pets…they are family. I have used that time as a dog walker to grow my own personal experience watching other families pets. I have since watched one family’s two dogs for three summers in a row due to the amount of trust and loyalty I have built with them. I can take care of any type of dog that you may have. Small, medium, large; young, adult, senior. It does not matter to me. I love them all and would enjoy watching as well as taking care of them. I am currently working part-time at Kent State University as a Graduate Assistant. The most time I spend in my office is about 4-6hrs per day. On the weekends I am home in Chardon. I will be able to accommodate your animals needs if needed on the weekends, and during the week. I will be home for the summer, but I will be moving down to the Kent area in the fall I always make sure that I meet the dog before I ever start taking care of them. As for walks, I would be sure to give them love before and after long walks. If I were to stay with them, I would ensure the pet and I would have time to play, go potty and a walk, as well eat dinner together so a bond and trust would be built. The pet would stay at their house so they wouldn’t be scared in a new setting.
