âAs always, Mocha arrives home, glad to be back, but clearly happy with her stay under your care. It is very reassuring for both my wife and I to know that she is having a good time while staying with you, Jason , Frank and other dogs being carefully attended to. Mocha and I will look forward to her next stay at your home.â

About: Iâve always loved animals and understand that every pet has their own personality and routine. Iâm patient, reliable, and committed to making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Whether itâs walks, feeding, playtime, administering basic care, or simply providing companionship, Iâll treat your pet like theyâre my own. I pay close attention to instructions, communicate regularly with updates and photos, and make sure every pet receives the care and attention they deserve. I work entirely from home, which gives me a highly flexible schedule to dedicate to pet care. I can easily accommodate potty breaks, mid-day walks, and constant companionship throughout the week. My weekends are completely open for extended playtime, boarding, or overnight house sitting. When watching pets in your home, safety and respect for your space are my top priorities. I stick strictly to your established routines, double-check that all doors and gates are secure before and after walks, and keep in constant contact with daily photo updates to give you complete peace of mind. My home is a cozy, pet-friendly space where your dog's safety is my number one priority. While I do not have a fenced yard, I always keep dogs securely leashed during all outdoor bathroom breaks and walks. I strictly follow your feeding routines and provide constant supervision to keep them safe and happy.
âMy husband and so were so pleased with all Austin did for our Little Lewey. He is our first dog. Lewey is a puppy and almost 5 months old and we went out of town for three days. Needless to say, I was a bit nervous. Lewey liked Austin the second he saw him for the Meet and Greet. Lewey had an amazing time with Austinâs two beautiful dogs. Austin sent us videos and pictures that kept us updated, and it was so appreciated as it helped to calm me and know Lewey was in good hands. He was so happy and active and able to play and run around in a gated backyard that was full of toys! We will continue to contact Austin in the future for daycare and boarding. I would highly recommend his services. I could tell immediately that he is an animal enthusiast. It was as if Lewey lit up the moment he saw him. Thank you, Austin, for all you did for Lewey. We truly appreciate your time and more.â

âLeAndra was very communicative throughout the trip and took the time to share pictures and updates that put our mind at ease. She walked Hermione and made sure she felt loved even through the 4th of July fireworks. Would absolutely book again.â

âMy dog, Lola, enjoyed Thanksgiving week with Samantha and Iâve already booked the Christmas holiday week for her. Thatâs high praise for Samanthaâs positive style & work ethics. ***** 5 stars!â

âFlora was amazing as always with our fur baby! She gave her plenty of walks, even in the cold and snow, and welcomed Luna as a part of her family for the week they spent together. 10/10, we will definitely be asking Flora to watch her again!!â

âAnna was wonderful with my pup and is just a special person who loves animals. Her home was amazing and is perfect for any dog. The backyard was a special treat for sure for my Chip. I cannot recommend Anna and her home enough. I knew my dog was very well taken care of and in great hands. Excellent communication as well. Thank you Anna and Gabe too đ â¤ď¸â

âGreat communication, sent me pictures and updates. My dog is still quite high energy and I've had less than stellar experiences at facilities. When I brought her home I could tell she'd been taken care of and was her regular self.â

About: ⨠Personalized Cat Care ⨠Hello, friends and fur babies! Iâve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember and have been a trusted Rover sitter since May 2023. While I grew up around dogs and volunteered at an animal shelter in high school, my professional pet-sitting journey has naturally led me to specialize in personalized, high-quality cat care. Iâve had the opportunity to care for cats of all personalities and needs, including multi-cat households, senior cats, and shy or anxious kitties. Iâm comfortable administering oral medications, following detailed care routines, and providing patient, attentive support tailored to each catâs temperament. My approach focuses on consistency, comfort, and enrichment. Each visit is intentional and unhurried, with thoughtful attention given to interactive play, mental stimulation, cozy companionship, and plenty of affectionâalways respecting your catâs individual boundaries and preferences. If youâre traveling this holiday season and want peace of mind knowing your cat is receiving attentive, personalized care in the comfort of their own home, Iâd love to connect. đžđ¤ I am currently working full-time as a nanny and part-time as a bartender at a local restaurant. My schedule can be busy, but I am very flexible and will always do my best to accommodate your petâs needs. Please feel free to message me to discuss your scheduleâIâm happy to work with you to make sure your pet gets the care they deserve! I will care for your pet as if they were my own! I primarily offer drop-in visits and am highly detail-oriented and attentive when it comes to following instructions. My goal is always to ensure both you and your pet feel comfortable and confident in the care I provide. For first-time bookings, a scheduled âmeet and greetâ is required. This helps prevent any miscommunication about expectations, ensures your pet is comfortable with me, and confirms that Iâm a good fit for your family.
âBrandon was the absolute best! Our little yorkie had the time of his life and we got tons of cute pics! Bringing our dog home he looks like he got a good vacation in as well! Brandon was great with communicating with us and was super understanding to all our craziness! Cannot recommend enough!â

âSusan and her husband are the sweetest couple! We were a little nervous at first since it was our first time using Rover, but Susan gave us daily updates which soon eased our anxieties. Our baby came home so exhausted which means he had such a blast and probably didn't even miss us. We're so glad to have found Susan. She truly cares for your dog as if they were her own. We can now leave our dog for a few days knowing he's in good hands. No longer will our pup be staying at the local boarding kennels. We highly recommend her and wish we had found her sooner!â
âAnghella was amazing! She was available on short notice, she was close, and Obi was awesome too! There was a miscommunication on my end and she was able to accomodate my needs. After meeting Anghella I did not feel anxious or worried about leaving our pup with her. Thank you Anghella!!! We will be using her in the future.â

âWeâre really happy with Debra and how she handled everything for our dog while we were out of town. We arranged for a meetup before the stay to ensure this would be a good match. When I dropped off our dog there was an introduction to the other pets in her home so our pup could get acclimated. While we were away we received daily updates with photos and it looked like our pup was having a great time. Thanks for taking good care and we look forward to scheduling with you again!â

About: My name is Ivette and I currently study at Case. My husband is a USPS mail carrier and I work from home. Currently, I have one dog and two rescue catsđž. During the pandemic, I spent a significant amount of time with my pets indoors where I had the opportunity to take care of two litters that my dogs had. I learned many skills during that time. With age, my dog became a senior dog and had to take oral medication so I am used to giving oral/topical medication to pets. I have been living in the Cleveland area since 2019 but I am originally from Texas. My current home has a fenced back yard and a good route for walks. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out.
âTove & Gerry are the best. Our 10 year old Golden Doodle Marley had only been boarded once in her life. From the first minute that she walked into their home Marley was comfortable. They took great care of her, sent updates and pictures and cared for her like she was their own. Tove even slept with Marley one night when her tummy wasnât feeling great. You couldnât ask for two more wonderful people to watch your little one.â

We are happy to take your dog on walks and visits to the park, so they can have a nice vacation too! I can currently adapt to most pet care schedules. I was very impressed and loved the way Andrew care for our dog. He does a great job and gives you daily updates and pictures. He is also a very caring individual, our dog was hurt 2 days before we left and was limping along. He took great care of Bentley. I feel extremely comfortable with Andrew taking care of Bentley. I will be using him again. You should also.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justiceâs National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dogâs vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitterâs care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, youâre adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Roverâs reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
