“Anghella was amazing! She was available on short notice, she was close, and Obi was awesome too! There was a miscommunication on my end and she was able to accomodate my needs. About: My name is Ivette and I currently study at Case. My husband is a USPS mail carrier and I work from home. Currently, I have one dog and two rescue cats🐾. During the pandemic, I spent a significant amount of time with my pets indoors where I had the opportunity to take care of two litters that my dogs had. I learned many skills during that time. With age, my dog became a senior dog and had to take oral medication so I am used to giving oral/topical medication to pets. I have been living in the Cleveland area since 2019 but I am originally from Texas. My current home has a fenced back yard and a good route for walks. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out.
“AMAZING!!! I wish I could give more stars. Pam and her son made KJ feel welcomed and made me comfortable. The entire experience was great! I even feel like KJ misses them. I will forever be a returning customer. I’ve already told all of my family and friends how amazing, caring, sweet, and loving they were.”

“Looks Like my Dog had a great stay w/ Andrea. Andrea is very communicative. Gives updates and pictures everyday. Went above and beyond even got mats out of my dogs fur. I definitely look forward to her taking care of my dog in the future.”

“We are sooo pleased with the great service Tove and Gerald provided. They really made Levi part of their family while he was there. We will not hesitate asking them to watch our precious boy again!”

About: I’ve grown up with both dogs and cats my entire life, and caring for animals has always been something I genuinely love. I’ve pet sat for neighbors, friends, and family, caring for pets with different personalities, routines, and needs. Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, cuddles, or simply keeping them company, I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. What sets me apart is that I’m also a registered nurse. My career has made me compassionate, dependable, detail-oriented, and attentive to changes in behavior or health. I have a natural instinct for noticing when something doesn’t seem quite right, and I always prioritize safety and communication. I understand that pets are family, and I promise to treat yours with the same love, patience, and care I would give my own. I currently work part time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to the pets I care for. Whether it’s going on walks, playing, keeping them active, sticking to their routine, or simply giving them companionship throughout the day, I’m happy to provide the care they need. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and will make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Since I live in the city, I don’t have a fenced yard, but that doesn’t stop my dog from getting plenty of exercise and attention! I have one dog of my own and also frequently care for my neighbor’s dog. We go on regular walks throughout the day, visit nearby grassy areas for bathroom breaks, and enjoy trips to the park just up the street for extra exercise and playtime. I also have a crate available if your dog is crate trained or if you’d like them crated for rest, bedtime, or while I’m briefly away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow their routine as closely as possible. I make sure they’re fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise, playtime, bathroom breaks, and, of course, lots of love and attention. My goal is to help every pet feel comfortable, safe, and happy while their family is away.

“Our dog Heidi has stayed with Sandra several times and we highly recommend her. She is professional, communicative, and very sweet. Heidi takes a while to warm up to strangers but Sandra has always been great with her and sends us lots of updates from their walks and playtime. She is also very flexible and easy to work with. We always know Heidi is in good hands with Sandra!”

This was my fur baby staying overnight only twice in 91/2 years kels husband picked him up he was 20 minutes early which was perfect kels sent many videos & pictures of my doggy just having his sweet Old time he played with their cat poor cat wore him out when he got home he slept 10hours thst morning i HIGHLY RECOMMEND KELSY she was sweet very easy to talk with & the funniest thing was my 80pld dog went over there and slept his big butt on her couch &:she had absolutely no problem with it this couple is 109% reliable, loving, patient & I will be keeping them in the future they're fantastic

This was our first time leaving our fur baby with a sitter for any length of time. He is a handful at times, but a loving snuggle bug at others. We were nervous, but our initial meeting with Sally gave us our first level of comfort. Upon dropping our guy off at Sally's, we felt good that he was in experienced, loving hands. Then the next morning, we got our first "report" - a series of photos with a full update on how everything was going. More updates and photos followed and we felt better each day about the care he was receiving. When we picked him up, we got a great feeling that all was well and we feel very comfortable booking with Sally again in the future. We are so happy that you meshed so well together. We definitely recommend Sally!

Jacob and Lisa were very good with Gracie. They kept me informed with pictures they emailed me. When I picked Gracie up she seem to be happy. I am very pleased with Jacob and Lisa. They are very pleasant people and caring. I would recommend their services. I will use their services again. w

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
