About: I’m currently a veterinary student with hands-on experience caring for animals of all sizes and personalities. In addition to my veterinary education, I previously worked in a large mixed-animal veterinary practice where I gained experience assisting with both routine and emergency cases involving small and large animals. Through that experience, I became comfortable working in high-pressure situations, handling animals safely, recognizing signs of illness or distress, administering medications, and supporting patient care during emergencies. I also grew up around farm animals and have experience working on a farm, which gave me strong confidence handling large animals and understanding animal behavior. I’m very comfortable around horses, cattle, and other livestock, as well as dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments. My background has taught me patience, responsibility, and the importance of calm, attentive handling for every animal. Whether your dog thinks they’re a couch potato or your cat is a secret ninja, I’m here to make sure they’re pampered, safe, and entertained. From horses to hedgehogs, I’ve got you covered – and their best interests are always my top priority. Your pets will be in the hands of an experienced professional who’s equally passionate about their care and keeping them spoiled while you're away. I am currently working as a full-time teacher, but am very accommodating and flexible to stay overnight, do morning and afternoon visits to see your pets are safe and happy. On the weekends I can be there around the clock, but during the week I am away for work. Unfortunately, I don't offer sitting in my home. Landlord's rules, not mine. But I am happy to take care of your pets in their own environment by staying at yours, which research shows is less stressful and traumatic for your pet.

About: Hello, I’m Melissa. 37 years old, I have a 19 year old son and 22 month old son. My husband works full time as a truck driver. I have a 9 year old pit mix her name is paisley. I have worked at Veterinarians in the past with kennel work. Dog feedings, cleaning up after them, bathing etc. Love working with animals on the side. I am attending online college for my associates degree for medical assistant. I have a fenced in yard for your dog to run and play. A lot toys. My dog gets along very well with other dogs. I am a stay at home mom to my 22 month old son so I will be here the whole time to take care of your fur baby. I also have camera set up in living room incase I need to run to the store I am able to take a peek at the dogs. I have a fully fenced in yard, I go outside with the dogs make sure they are ok and don’t jump fence. My dog is very friendly. I also separate at feedings.

About: My 9 year-old black lab, Luna, and I are traveling around the East Coast (around NJ and PA at the moment) and house sitting while we find a new place to settle. I have worked as a dog trainer and groomer for 3 years. I also have my own business called “Heeling Dog Reiki”, which I can book outside of Rover. Reiki is an ancient healing technique used for centuries to promote healing and well-being. My specialty is working with senior dogs and pups who are experiencing illness (arthritis chemo) or just need a little extra TLC. I have also worked with dogs who experience fear. Either way, I look forward to meeting you and your furry loved ones! This will be my full time gig at the moment. Happy to become a recurring person in your pups life! Structure is good for the pups! We want your dog to enjoy all aspects of our home, but if they are feeling overwhelmed or anxious and need some alone time we have a room for them. I set my office up with a little couch and a dog bed and it’s perfect for a little alone time if they need it.
