“Katerina & Seth were AMAZING. She provided constant updates and tons of pictures. Even though we couldn't really answer as we were traveling out of the country, she still made sure we got our updates. Our pup absolutely adored them, and went above and beyond of drop in visits! I will recommend them to everyone and 100% use again !”

About: I have worked with animals my whole life. Caring for them is something I truly love. I have a B.S. in Animal Science and worked as a vet tech for many years. I have hands-on experience with dogs, cats, small animals, chickens, exotics, senior pets and large animals, especially pigs. I also specialize in animal reiki. I’m comfortable giving oral, topical, and injectable medications, as well as caring for pets with special needs. Every pet has a unique personality and routine. I will take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m committed to providing dependable, compassionate care. I’ll treat your pets like they’re part of my own family and keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind. I have a flexible work schedule at the moment, so this allows me to provide multiple visits or walks for your beloved pet. I aim to make things convenient for you and your pets. I provide love and care to your pet in the comfort of their own home. I follow directions well and will always send photo or text updates to ease your worries.
“Lauren is amazing! She is so thorough in her visit updates, and sends plenty of pictures. She takes the time to sit with our dogs and make sure they are comfortable with her. We could not ask for a better drop-in sitter!”

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have been lucky to spend my life caring for them in many different ways. I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, and bunnies, so being around animals feels completely natural to me. I currently work at an animal shelter, where I care for pets with all kinds of personalities, energy levels, and needs. This experience has taught me how to read animal behavior, stay calm in new situations, and provide patient, compassionate care, especially for pets who may be shy, nervous, or adjusting to a new environment. In addition to shelter work, I’ve also worked at a doggy daycare, gaining hands-on experience with group play, structured routines, and safe supervision. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or just a calm presence, I tailor my care to what makes them feel most comfortable and happy. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always prioritize safety, communication, and trust. I know how important it is to feel confident leaving your pet in someone else’s care, and I’m committed to giving you peace of mind, and your pet lots of love. :) Pet care fits easily into my routine, as I have a flexible schedule and am available most days between 8:30 AM and 5 PM. I plan my day around pets’ needs to ensure consistent, attentive care. I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible so they feel safe and comfortable. I take the time to learn each pet’s needs, preferences, and personality, from feeding schedules and walks to playtime, medication, and cuddle preferences. Because I work at an animal shelter and have experience in a doggy daycare, I’m attentive to behavior, safety, and stress signals. I provide calm, patient care and adjust my approach based on each pet’s energy level and comfort. I make sure pets get appropriate exercise, mental stimulation, and plenty of affection. In a client’s home, I respect the space and keep everything clean and consistent. I also send regular updates and photos so owners feel confident and connected while they’re away. My goal is always to create a positive, low-stress experience and treat every pet as if they were my own.
“Ceinwein did a great job and was available with short notice. Very reliable and experienced with dealing with an elderly dog and giving medication. Will definitely use her services again!”

“Dash loves Jason and greets him at the door for his visit while we are away! We appreciate the thoughtful care Jason provides to ensure Dash is comfortable and happy!”

About: Hi! I am Teena. I reside in Kintnersville, Pa (near Lake Nockamixon). I’ve spent years caring for a wide variety of pets, including small & medium dogs, cats, ferrets, hamsters, guinea pigs, birds & parrots, all of which I’ve personally owned and loved at different points in my life. Small dogs especially hold a huge place in my heart, and I proudly admit to being a total Chihuahua addict! I currently share my home with four Chihuahuas (two hairless) and one Pomeranian, so I’m very comfortable with the unique personalities, quirks, and care needs that come with tiny breeds. Because my home is already full of furry little personalities, I’m unable to offer boarding services. However, I’m more than happy to provide drop-in visits where I can spend quality time with your pet, offer companionship, playtime, feeding, walks, and general care while you’re away. I also have extensive experience administering oral medications, including pills and tablet forms, but I do not offer injectable medications or shots, as I do not have professional training in that area. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for like they’re part of the family. As a business owner of a catering & cooking school, I work mostly from home during the week with a flexible schedule. Weekends are filled with caterings, events and other food-industry gigs, so I am available Mon-Fri at this time. Drop-in visits will be centered around potty breaks for dogs, feedings if necessary or simple companionship in half hour blocks of time. In my home, my pups love just being near humans and love the togetherness. I mimic this when dropping in for clients. Drop-ins for cats and other small pets will depend on the wants & needs of the pet and if they are comfortable with human interaction or if they simple require feedings and check-ins.
“Katie was wonderful. Our cats were happy and content when we arrived home, and she did a great job following our requested instructions. She was always responsive to any communication I sent. We will certainly book Katie again.”

We’d love to take care and love animals I am highly focused on creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment. When I watch pets, we typically spend our time doing activities,, outdoor play. I have a flexible schedule, and I’m willing to work around mine and your schedules I will work during the week and weekends as well I would take very good care of your pet inside your home and if you have a list and concerns for your pet, I will be able to willing to work on that for your pet.. Inside my home would be the same way and have a comfortable playtime with my family
“Alexandra is accommodating and reliable. I love how aware she was of my newish 4YO shelter dog needs: potty break, interactive toys and ending with snuggles on the couch. With her updates and pictures I know my pup enjoyed her visit. Highly recommend 😊”

About: I’m currently a veterinary student with hands-on experience caring for animals of all sizes and personalities. In addition to my veterinary education, I previously worked in a large mixed-animal veterinary practice where I gained experience assisting with both routine and emergency cases involving small and large animals. Through that experience, I became comfortable working in high-pressure situations, handling animals safely, recognizing signs of illness or distress, administering medications, and supporting patient care during emergencies. I also grew up around farm animals and have experience working on a farm, which gave me strong confidence handling large animals and understanding animal behavior. I’m very comfortable around horses, cattle, and other livestock, as well as dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments. My background has taught me patience, responsibility, and the importance of calm, attentive handling for every animal. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your pets with someone else, so I strive to provide dependable care, clear communication, and plenty of love and attention while you’re away. Whether your pet needs drop-ins, walks, medication administration, exercise, companionship, or extra monitoring, I treat every animal like they’re my own. I’m currently home for the summer from veterinary school, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability for pet care. Since I’m not working another job at the moment, I’m able to dedicate a lot of time and attention to my clients and their pets throughout the week. I’m available for drop-ins, and pet sitting. I am open to some other services situation dependent. I understand how important reliability and communication are when trusting someone with your pets, so I strive to be responsive, dependable, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs. Whether your pet needs a quick visit, extra playtime, medication administration, or simply companionship while you’re away, I’m happy to help and provide care you can feel confident about. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and trust are my top priorities. With veterinary, mixed-animal practice, and farm experience, I’m confident handling a wide range of animals calmly and responsibly. I focus on maintaining their normal routines to reduce stress and keep them comfortable while you’re away. I also prioritize clear communication and reliable updates so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is to provide safe, attentive care and peace of mind every visit.
About: I have taken care of dogs and cats for a total of 5 years. I volunteered at an animal shelter to take care of cats, and worked for a few months taking care of dogs. I have also dog sat for friends when they went away and didn't have any issues. I have 2 dogs, one I got in January 2022 (chapo) and the other (pablo) in March 2022. Mr. Chapo was a rescue from the spca and we have had Mr. Pablo since he was 3 months old. Chapo is an American staffordshire and is 7.5 years old and pablo is 3.5 years old. I want everyone to be aware that I work full time and can be available in the mornings Sunday-Wednesday’s. I am free all day every other Wednesday. I am available all day Thursday-Saturday. I am more than happy to dog sit overnight/in the morning before i go to work. I will work with you so we can make sure your little one (or big one) is cared for! I am available on most weekends. Holidays may differ depending on my schedule. I let Chapo out when I get home and let him roam around outside because he just sleeps most of the day. When I am not home he is inside. Pablo is in his crate when I am at work. He likes going outside but not a huge fan. I will care for your pet however you would like since its your fur baby!
About: Your pet’s new best friend and spoiler when you’re not around. With a degree in Animal Science and over 30 years of experience in everything from paws to claws (and even scales and feathers!), I’ve worked as a veterinary technician, an animal behaviorist (yes, I speak fluent dog AND cat), and I’ve even run my own pet care company for years providing daily walks, home visits and even house sitting. Whether your dog thinks they’re a couch potato or your cat is a secret ninja, I’m here to make sure they’re pampered, safe, and entertained. From horses to hedgehogs, I’ve got you covered – and their best interests are always my top priority. Your pets will be in the hands of an experienced professional who’s equally passionate about their care and keeping them spoiled while you're away. Looking forward to meeting your fur, feathered, or scaly family members soon! Feel free to reach out with any questions or to book a complimentary meet & greet session. I am currently working as a full-time teacher, but am very accommodating and flexible to stay overnight, do morning and afternoon visits to see your pets are safe and happy. On the weekends I can be there around the clock, but during the week I am away for work. Unfortunately, I don't offer sitting in my home. Landlord's rules, not mine. But I am happy to take care of your pets in their own environment by staying at yours, which research shows is less stressful and traumatic for your pet.
About: Growing up in a big dog- and cat-loving home, my affinity for animals was realized at an early age. I’ve been the go-to person amongst family and friends for pet care since I was a kid. I’ve dabbled in this passion on the side my whole life, but am now pursuing it full tilt and hope to build a career in conservational zoology. In 2020, pet care grew outside of my inner circle of friends and family, and I gained clientele I still work for to this day. While in Hawaii from August 2024 to February 2026, I dog-sat for five families on top of my day job, regularly tending to their pets every week (and some every day). This included walks and meals, house calls, trips to the beach, hikes, daily visits to the local dog parks, bathing and brushing, extended stays at my home while owners traveled, and coordinating play dates with other pet-sitters. I’ve handled animals of all sizes and temperaments, administered medication, and adhered to the specific needs of the families in my care. My focus is on the comfort, stimulation, and enrichment of your pet! I am reliable and flexible, and find genuine joy in this line of work. This is how I would prefer to spend my time! My Pets: My 120lb Saint Bernard/Bernese, Hobie, was my dutiful companion in pet care, living up to his “nanny dog” personality. In July 2025, he sadly passed at the young age of 2 due to congenital kidney failure, but his short life was full to the brim of adventures with furry friends! He was equally as loving as he was loved. My world completely revolved around him while I had him. Thistle and Pants are my two cats. Thistle is a 7 year old domestic long hair, and I’ve had her since she was 6 months old. She has very much been a partner in my pet care as well, having grown up with big dogs and preferring their company over other cats. She gives off that annoyed older sister vibe, but always wants to be near the other animals and people. Pants is a 5 month old Maine Coon kitten, and he makes himself right at home in any space he occupies. He’s adventurous and outspoken, and keeps Thistle moving (and slightly irritated) throughout the day. He’s proving to be too clever for his own good! I will be adding a new dog to the family in several months, and will undergo training with a focus on companionship and socialization. I can’t wait to have another partner in pet care! Letters of Recommendation are available upon request. Thank you so much for reading, I hope to work with you soon! Rachel I’m currently available all day Tuesday through Saturday! I’m an early riser, accustomed to starting my days around 5am. I’m quick to respond and very flexible. I will adhere to YOUR preferred form of care. I love going on drives, walks, and hikes and have a roomy CR-V perfect for transporting furry friends! I like arranging play dates with social pets, or spending one-on-one time for those that prefer to be solo. My apartment in Dublin has a spacious yard with a tall fence and tree shade, and I’m happy to take your pet to their known stomping grounds or on new adventures. I live about ten minutes away from Peace Valley Park, and twenty minutes from Nockamixon State Park. I will tend to a routine that is best for your pet, whether it involve a lot of free roaming and outdoor time, or adhering to crate-training preferences. I’m an advocate for leisurely “sniff walks”, and will ensure your pet gets the stimulation they need. This isn’t a turn-and-burn rush job for me, I’m here to provide what is most enriching for your pet.

“Helen did an awesome job walking my dog while we were away for the weekend. She was prompt and sent me a Rover report card with pictures after each visit! My dog was able to be home and was happy while we were away! I would definitely Helen again!!”

About: My very first job was caring for my neighbors' dogs and cats while they were away on vacation. I was just 10 years old, and I'm so grateful they trusted me with their pets. That experience not only taught me responsibility but also sparked a lifelong passion for pet sitting. I've always been a dog lover and grew up with two dogs in my home at all times. Over the years, I've cared for breeds including Akitas, Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs, and Entlebucher Mountain Dogs, giving me experience with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. One of my proudest accomplishments has been training my own dogs, Kona and Remy, starting when they were just 10 weeks old. That experience strengthened our bond and taught me the importance of consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement. I understand that every dog has unique needs, and I strive to provide the love, exercise, structure, and attention they deserve. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, happy, and cared for while you're away, giving you peace of mind that they're in good hands. I’m currently working part time so my schedule is flexible. I make my own hours so I can pet sit anytime of day and night. Your pets deserve the utmost amount of love and attention from their pet sitter even when you're not there. I will take care of your pets as if they are my own. If there’s specific instructions, I will absolutely make sure they are followed exactly how they should be.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
