“Sarah was excellent with Chase. She followed his routine carefully, communicated clearly, and handled everything with confidence. Chase is a senior tripod and needs a bit of extra support, and she managed his let‑outs, feeding, medications, and mobility needs without any issues. We had an unexpected power outage during our booking, and Sarah immediately stepped in with solutions to keep Chase safe and comfortable. She was flexible, dependable, and proactive throughout the entire situation. Chase was well cared for, and we felt completely at ease knowing he was with her. We will absolutely book with her again. Highly recommend.”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats for a total of 5 years. I volunteered at an animal shelter to take care of cats, and worked for a few months taking care of dogs. I have also dog sat for friends when they went away and didn't have any issues. I have 2 dogs, one I got in January 2022 (chapo) and the other (pablo) in March 2022. Mr. Chapo was a rescue from the spca and we have had Mr. Pablo since he was 3 months old. Chapo is an American staffordshire and is 7.5 years old and pablo is 3.5 years old. I want everyone to be aware that I work full time and can be available in the mornings Sunday-Wednesday’s. I am free all day every other Wednesday. I am available all day Thursday-Saturday. I am more than happy to dog sit overnight/in the morning before i go to work. I will work with you so we can make sure your little one (or big one) is cared for! I am available on most weekends. Holidays may differ depending on my schedule. I let Chapo out when I get home and let him roam around outside because he just sleeps most of the day. When I am not home he is inside. Pablo is in his crate when I am at work. He likes going outside but not a huge fan. I will care for your pet however you would like since its your fur baby!
About: Hi! I am Teena. I reside in Kintnersville, Pa (near Lake Nockamixon). I’ve spent years caring for a wide variety of pets, including small & medium dogs, cats, ferrets, hamsters, guinea pigs, birds & parrots, all of which I’ve personally owned and loved at different points in my life. Small dogs especially hold a huge place in my heart, and I proudly admit to being a total Chihuahua addict! I currently share my home with four Chihuahuas (two hairless) and one Pomeranian, so I’m very comfortable with the unique personalities, quirks, and care needs that come with tiny breeds. Because my home is already full of furry little personalities, I’m unable to offer boarding services. However, I’m more than happy to provide drop-in visits where I can spend quality time with your pet, offer companionship, playtime, feeding, walks, and general care while you’re away. I also have extensive experience administering oral medications, including pills and tablet forms, but I do not offer injectable medications or shots, as I do not have professional training in that area. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for like they’re part of the family. As a business owner of a catering & cooking school, I work mostly from home during the week with a flexible schedule. Weekends are filled with caterings, events and other food-industry gigs, so I am available Mon-Fri at this time. Drop-in visits will be centered around potty breaks for dogs, feedings if necessary or simple companionship in half hour blocks of time. In my home, my pups love just being near humans and love the togetherness. I mimic this when dropping in for clients. Drop-ins for cats and other small pets will depend on the wants & needs of the pet and if they are comfortable with human interaction or if they simple require feedings and check-ins.
“Messaged me a lot of updates and videos. It’s great to know someone is following the suggestions to keep your overactive border collie happy. Did everything asked and even put the toys back they played with”

“Katie was wonderful. Our cats were happy and content when we arrived home, and she did a great job following our requested instructions. She was always responsive to any communication I sent. We will certainly book Katie again.”

“Guinevere was fantastic! Great communication, with pictures of my boy playing and being cuddled just like I'd have done. I was worried because I had never left my cat before. Guinevere made sure that she took care of him just as I would and when I got home, my cat was a happy boy! If you're looking for a pet sitter who cares for your fur babies just as you would, Guinevere is the one!”

“Liz is an amazing person. Very polite and easy going. She is truly amazing with my puppy, and I can tell how much passion she has towards animals. I'm so grateful for meeting her. I would highly recommend her for any needs you might have in assistance with any of your loved ones!!!”

About: I grew up with dogs all my life and nothing excites me more than looking over your fur babies. I'm very responsible in assuring that your pets are well taken care of and their necessities are being met. I am employed Full-time but as most people, I do have the weekends off. My fiancé and I have opposite schedules so someone is always home! My schedule coordinates just well with our fur babies because if I'm not home, my significant other is. We have a fenced yard where your fur babies can enjoy the outdoors or run around. We have two Australian shepherds that are very energetic and love to play! Per request, your pet could be crated if asked.
“Jake is seriously the best. He made a meet and greet with our little puppy an importance and has gone above and beyond with him. I love his constant communication, the picture updates, and how involved he is with our little boys care. He communicates about timing, ask questions, and ensures Onyx gets play time with puzzles games and fun beyond just doing the basics with him! Love love love Jake!!!”

About: I’m currently a veterinary student with hands-on experience caring for animals of all sizes and personalities. In addition to my veterinary education, I previously worked in a large mixed-animal veterinary practice where I gained experience assisting with both routine and emergency cases involving small and large animals. Through that experience, I became comfortable working in high-pressure situations, handling animals safely, recognizing signs of illness or distress, administering medications, and supporting patient care during emergencies. I also grew up around farm animals and have experience working on a farm, which gave me strong confidence handling large animals and understanding animal behavior. I’m very comfortable around horses, cattle, and other livestock, as well as dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments. My background has taught me patience, responsibility, and the importance of calm, attentive handling for every animal. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your pets with someone else, so I strive to provide dependable care, clear communication, and plenty of love and attention while you’re away. Whether your pet needs drop-ins, walks, medication administration, exercise, companionship, or extra monitoring, I treat every animal like they’re my own. I’m currently home for the summer from veterinary school, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability for pet care. Since I’m not working another job at the moment, I’m able to dedicate a lot of time and attention to my clients and their pets throughout the week. I’m available for drop-ins, and pet sitting. I am open to some other services situation dependent. I understand how important reliability and communication are when trusting someone with your pets, so I strive to be responsive, dependable, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs. Whether your pet needs a quick visit, extra playtime, medication administration, or simply companionship while you’re away, I’m happy to help and provide care you can feel confident about. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and trust are my top priorities. With veterinary, mixed-animal practice, and farm experience, I’m confident handling a wide range of animals calmly and responsibly. I focus on maintaining their normal routines to reduce stress and keep them comfortable while you’re away. I also prioritize clear communication and reliable updates so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is to provide safe, attentive care and peace of mind every visit.
About: Need a summer or holiday break? Don't worry, I've got you covered. I love dogs, and dogs love me. I have been a proud pet owner for nearly 20 years, and have had the pleasure of caring for several dogs on this site - each with its own personality. I have a Westie, who loves playing with other dogs - big or small. I will be gentle but firm with your pet. Your dog will get a daily walk on the Delaware Canal, a nearby quiet country road, or for a treat, the dog park. I also have a fenced-in outdoor area where he or she can wander. I can play ball with your dog or tug-o-war. Your dog can wander freely in my house and can sleep where he or she feels comfortable. I do work 8 to 4 weekdays but have all federal and state holidays off. My uncle is here to supervise when I am at work. I have a fenced-in side yard for dogs to exercise and get fresh air. Pets will be monitored at all times to ensure their safety
About: My name is Angie. I currently work in the veterinary field with cats and dogs. I have worked in the large animal field as well in the past for farm animals. I have 3 dogs at home but have had cats, bearded dragons, fish, birds and even an african tortoise. I would love to meet some new furry (or even not so furry) friends. I would treat them like they are my own pets. I have a compassion for all living things and it's a passion I would like to pursue now that my children are older and I have some more free time. I do work at a vet hospital 4-5 days a week but other than work, I am available to pet sit in your home or just pop in for walks, feeding and cuddle time if that is all that is required for your pet. I have 3 large dogs at home who are my world. They are trained to stay in our yard or be on a lead outside. They all are on allergy specific diets and medications so I am no stranger to medical issues in dogs. I have also fostered everything from extra small puppies/dogs to extra large dogs.
“Miah is fantastic! We can trust our pets are well taken care of. She is reliable and responsive and we can recommend her for a drop by or overnight sit. She will be our go-to sitter when we need to be gone.”

Katerina & Seth were AMAZING. She provided constant updates and tons of pictures. Even though we couldn't really answer as we were traveling out of the country, she still made sure we got our updates. Our pup absolutely adored them, and went above and beyond of drop in visits! A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
