Safety, trust & environment

My top priority is ensuring the safety of the pet I am looking after, as well as allowing their owner to have peace of mind. I value clear communication and transparency with clients, that way I can ensure that I understand and respect any specific needs.

Information Tara Z. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if there are any pet quirks that I should be aware of! Some pets are afraid of XYZ, are reactive to specific things, and/or require specific care in general. Please also make me aware of any medicines that need to be administered to your furbaby. Knowing the energy level of your pet also helps me anticipate how to approach their specific care. (:

A typical day

Lots of toy time, fun walks, belly rubs and scritches, brushings (if desired), quality time relaxing if your pet is more of a couch potato! + photos for you because I can only imagine that you'll miss your furbaby a ton!

Pet care experience

I was born into a family that had furbabies and my entire life is littered (pun intended) with sweet moments with pets past and current. Growing up, we always had a mix of dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents and even chickens. As I entered adulthood, I really wanted a furry friend of my very own--that's when I adopted my cat, Macadamia Nut! A couple of years later, my husband found his bonded furbabies. (: I understand how important your pet(s) is/are to you, that's why your pet's safety and your peace of mind are my top priorities! With a passion for furry friends and an active lifestyle, I would be more than happy (and honored) to watch after your pet(s). I can guarantee that they will be played with, fed, and given allllll the attention.

I can’t say enough good things about Tara. I know that I can depend on her to care for my pets while I’m away. She is great with my shy cat, arrives when she’s supposed to, follows all instructions, and is a great communicator. I know I can depend on her and not worry about my pets well being. She’s fantastic and I would definitely recommend her!

Tara is an amazing, caring, supportive pet caregiver as well as an all around wonderful person. She is kind, sensitive, giving, smart, intuitive and she has a good sense of humor. She loves all creatures. She cared for my two sibling Alaskan Malamutes. She fed them 2x/day, made sure they had fresh water and walked them 2x/day. KeiKei and Tulo were always happy to see her! She left notes for us. Tara made a Father's Day card for my husband with their pictures. I still have it! You will not be disappointed with Tara. Her love for animals shines through!
