“Kelly went above & beyond watching our pets while we were gone! She took great care of them and left our home in great condition! So thankful”

“I cannot say enough good things about Ashley. Truly. My husband and I are pretty anxious doggie parents, and finding a dog sitter for our new rescue pup has made us overall pretty nervous. But Ashley provided consistent updates, met with them beforehand, and made us feel so so so calm about our time away. She’s also just an extremely kind human. I would give her 100 stars out of 10 if I could!”

“Damian was great! He was very attentive and respectful of all of our pets’ needs. One of our dogs got sick while we were away and he took wonderful care of her and informed us of everything we needed to know. I felt bad he had to deal with a sick dog but he was very understanding, caring, and patient with her the entire time. I would definitely recommend Damian and we’d for sure have him return to our house as well!”

“Jillian was great! Communicative, caring, responsive...she sent lots of pictures and kept me updated on all the goings on around the house. Would recommend her for anyone, and will definitely use her services again!”

“Jacob took excellent care of our pup. He provided great updates and demonstrated concern for his well-being. Reliable, prompt, and considerate!”

“Sam was exceptional. He was so kind in meeting our family and furry baby before we left for the weekend. Was so attentive and friendly, our two year old toddler adored him and our furry friend has the best weekend! We got pictures and updates as well as felt so safe with sam watching after our fur baby at home. Our labradoodle was so happy to see us but all of the pictures we received from sam showed a happy and loved dog. We can’t wait to have sam look after our pup again in the future and have already booked him for the end of the month!”

“They took such great care of Stella. Would totally recommend again! I’m glad I have someone that loves her as much as I do!”

About: I have been around animals since I was born and started taking care of them and tending to their needs when I was five. I lived at Camp Lejune for four years and for two of those years, I was relied on to tend to some of the house pets around base. I worked as mostly a dog sitter, but i have worked with cats and even a ferret! i am available all throughout the week! typically on weekends, i do not have a ride to and from locations, but can always work something out!! As i cannot take an animal into my own home, i will either do drop-ins or do an overnight stay. After meeting the animal, i would visit and if i’m doing a drop-in, i’d stay up to two hours (more, if needed or requested) and help the animal get its energy out and eat! if i’m doing an overnight stay, i’d keep to a schedule that is discussed before or during the animal meet.

“Katherine was an amazing pet (and house) sitter. While we didn’t necessarily book her to house sit, she stayed in our home while we were away, which was a great bonus. She took great care of our Labradors; swimming with them, playing ball, and making sure they received exercise, food, and love. While away, we had several uncommon circumstances occur but Katherine handled them all! We truly appreciated her professionalism, attention to our dogs, and respect for our home. We would definitely book Katherine again and highly recommended her services.”

“As someone who has moved a lot and had many pet sitters, Kristi is 10000% one of the best ever! She did a fantastic job with my pups and went above & beyond with taking care of our home. She is professional, personable, and communicative. I highly recommend her!”

“I could rave about Cory all day! Cory was hands down the best pet/house sitter we have ever had. He watched my two dogs and one cat for our new years trip. He followed all instructions and requests to the letter, he always kept me up to date about everything, sent all the photos, let me know if he had to leave the dogs for more than a few hours, and just was an all around pleasant person to interact with. I did not need to follow up for and updates like i usually do and my chiweenie, for once, did not gain 2-3 pounds while i was away but actually seemed like he was in better shape when i came back. I would 100% recommend Cory as a petsitter to anyone who asks. It is clear that he absolutely loves all kinds of animals and will treat your pets like his own when you are away.”

About: I've had a deep love for dogs since childhood, and my passion has only grown over the years. I currently have a miniature labradoodle named Finn, whom I've potty trained, taught a variety of tricks, and worked with on behavioral improvement. Additionally, I gained hands-on experience at Doggstuff, a local pet store, where I had the opportunity to learn dog training techniques directly from a professional trainer. I'm also well-prepared to handle any emergency situation involving dogs, ensuring they are safe and well cared for at all times. My combination of personal experience and professional training sets me apart as a reliable and knowledgeable pet sitter. As a college student with a flexible schedule, I have plenty of availability during both weekdays and weekends. I’m free from Friday to Sunday and can accommodate overnight visits during this time. On weekdays, I’m available outside of my class hours: - Monday: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM - Tuesday: 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM - Wednesday: 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM - Thursday: 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM During the week, I can provide both short and long walks based on your pet’s needs. Weekends are perfect for extended overnight stays, so you can rest easy knowing your dog is in good hands! For overnight visits and walks, my priority is always the safety, comfort, and well-being of your dog. When caring for pets in your home, I make sure to maintain their routine and environment as closely as possible. I create a secure and calm atmosphere, ensuring your dog feels at ease while you’re away. For walks, I tailor the length and intensity to your dog’s energy level and preferences, whether it's a leisurely stroll or a more active outing. I also stay alert to their body language and surroundings to avoid any potential hazards. I’m committed to building trust with both you and your pet, offering constant updates and staying available for any questions you may have during the service. Whether it’s overnight or a simple walk, I treat your dog as my own—providing love, attention, and care throughout the entire visit.

About: I have owned both large and small dogs & am comfortable working with everything in between! I have recently rescued a German Shepard puppy from a shelter so I am also well versed with rescues and their needs. I am very experienced and am a dog lover at heart! I am currently a college student enjoying her summer off at home! So I have a very flexible schedule to help walk, care for, or hangout with your pup whenever needed! I can help take the dogs in and out of your home and am experienced with crates. I can also accommodate to your needs and routine of your pup!

About: I used to volunteer at my local animal shelter for about 2 years then I started dog walking in my neighborhood. I have had dogs my whole life and I really get along with them! I am a part time community college student (online) while also working a part time job, but I do not have long shifts at all! Luckily my work is located very close to the highway so I can conveniently get somewhere pretty quickly! I have a very large fenced yard at home! I do have a cat but he grew up with dogs since he was a kitten making him very used to them and paying no mind 😄

About: I have multiple pets of my own and feel confident in my abilities to adapt and learn. I have been taking care of animals my whole life including my own pets as well as others. I have a large breed dog who has daily medication and have taken care of elderly/animals with special needs. I love all animals and I even rescued a cat in Guatemala! I work two part time jobs but am available outside of those! I can do overnights on weekdays and most weekends if my job doesn’t interfere. I can do home drop ins before 3pm on weekends and after 6 on weekdays! I love cuddles or even just existing in the same space as any animal. Walking your dog will be the highlight of my day and I have a dog who would love to join for walks too! I love spending time with cats as well!

For new clients: for any potential bookings, please reach out at least three weeks prior your prospective dates with availability for M&G. All new guests must complete a Meet & Greet before boarding and daycare services** What does a stay with me & my family look like? For starters, we enjoy being around dogs and take great pride in showing love & affection to our own fur child as any parent would- making sure they are safe, healthy, and comfortable. So we know how your world circles around them too. So who am I? I'm a local dog mom that has moved back from living in NoVa. I'm pretty familiar with taking care of dogs considering I currently dote and center my life around a sweet 4yr old black lab mix named Sage and grew up with a couple Maltese fur babies. Within the past few years, I’ve helped family & friends with boarding, drop-ins, dog-walking, and house-sitting. I officially joined Rover in 2022 and have made some connections with some wonderful clients- some routinely, some occasionally, and some just once. Additionally, I’m a registered foster parent through the local shelter. One of the most rewarding experiences as a sitter or fur-friend is building a relationship with the fur babies and seeing them excited to come over. I am lucky to be working a full-time job at home with a flexible schedule that allows me to enjoy caring for pets. When staying at home with me and my family, your furry friend: - will have someone present as a caregiver, furry friend, and cuddle buddy - will have access to the backyard to potty or enjoy some outdoor sunshine - will have someone present for a lunchtime nice stroll in the neighborhood or ride for a pup-cup When visiting for a drop-in or walk at your home, you & your furry friend: - will have someone that respects your home, your sanctuary - will have a friend that will love to hang out with them, introduce them to some audiobooks, or explore some music - will have a caretaker that provides relief and detailed updates along with photos At home, I will be able to supervise pets full-time and have the added bonus of a fenced backyard which we regularly tend to. We have a crate on hand, extra bowls, pet bed/bedding, pet steps, and toys for the occasional overnight stay. I wash and sanitize these items on a regular basis so they are ready for friends. At your home, I honor your privacy and provide detailed reports of how time was spent with your fur-friend(s) during drop-ins and walks.
