Cara is amazing! Super accommodating to the needs of my senior dog. I don’t trust many people with my animals but I don’t worry when they are with Cara. Book with her and you’ll have a trusted sitter for life. Thank you Cara!!!

Ms. Jordan has been wonderful! From the initial interview meeting to scheduled then cancelled visits, to the real thing - she's been very communicative. Our fur kids loved her visit, and I did too. We received updates and pics. We're grateful to have found her! I hate to recommend her though because that means she may be too bust and not able to come when we need her. ;-) I won't be selfish like that though. Thank you, Ms. Jordan.

About: We have had all types of pets growing up that I have cared for. I have been dog sitting for years for family and family friends as well. I am a college student with a flexible online schedule!! I am available to sleep over if your pet needs overnight company as well. Message me and I can work around whatever your pet needs. Feel free to check out the pictures I have up on my profile of the animals I have taken care of:) I feed and give water, clean up after as needed, go for walks and play. I love taking them to the dog park as well and have a safe vehicle if that is an option you are willing to trust me with.

About: I have always grown up with dogs, since I was a young child I have shared the responsibilities of caring for a family dog. We have always had Bernese Mountain Dogs, so I am particularly adept at caring for active, very large dogs. Growing up I always cared for friend's, family's, and neighbors dogs while they were away on trips, or busy with work. This gave me the ability to care for a diverse profile of dogs with diverse, individualized needs. I am responsible and will closely follow the instructions left to provide your animal with the care it requires. While my experience is primarily with dogs, I also have experience caring for cats for my friends and family as well. In addition to providing your pet with high-quality care, I will also ensure that it feels secure, safe, and loved, even in your temporary absence. I have experience with dogs with high- anxiety, specifically separation anxiety, and I know how to calm your pet in these scenarios. Being apart from your furry loved one can be a time of anxiety for both you and your pet, but I will be sure to provide exceptional care to ease the anxieties of all involved. Overall, I am extremely loving, caring, and responsible, and feel I am an excellent choice to care for your pet. I am currently a Physician Assistant student, so I am busy during most of the day from 8-4, however I have breaks and can stop by to let your dog out or have a romp with them if needed. Other than that, my evenings, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays are entirely open, allowing me to dedicate much attention to your pet! I will be sure to accurately and closely follow all instructions that you leave regarding your pets care. I am comfortable with crating dogs if that is your desire. I am also quite adept at "pet proofing' your or my home before leaving, to ensure there is no trouble your animal could get into. My home has a fenced in yard and one very friendly Bernese Mountain Dog, though I could make arrangements for him to reside elsewhere during your pets stay if that is your desire.

About: Hello! I’m Tracy. I’m a homemaker, home full time, lover of all animals, only have 1 dog (corgi), and have a LARGE fenced in backyard. I’m dedicated to caring for your pet with the same love and devotion I show my own. I have plenty of space in my home to house dogs in separate areas if needed. Dogs in my care are never left together unsupervised. Home is smoke-free and have no children. I'd be delighted to care for your furry family member! Let me give your beloved pet the love, attention, and safe haven they deserve. Any size dogs are welcome! ============================= ⭐️ Are you NEW to Rover? Ask me how you can save on your first Rover service! 🐾🐾♥️ ✨ Not new to Rover but interested in savings? Ask me about it! *Will require a phone call* 📞 ============================= I’ve babysat friends and family’s dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, chickens 🐓 , fish 🐠, and plants 🪴. I’ve also fostered dogs, love them like my own, until they were adopted. I have experience with dogs who have stranger anxiety, thunderstorm fears, and epilepsy. I can administer oral medication. ============================= I have one Pembroke Welsh corgi and as much as I love the breed, I don’t discriminate. I love all dogs, all shapes, sizes, and breeds. My first corgi was adopted in 2014. He was found wandering in the Texas heat covered in fleas with no collar or microchip. I bathed him, treated the fleas, put up signs and no one called for him. At the time, the vet estimated him to be 1-2 years old. He was with us for 11.5 years; he crossed the rainbow bridge on 12/05/25. 🐾🐾🌈💙 My female corgi is 10 years old. I’ve had her since she was 5 months old, and she still acts like a young pup, very vocal, super sweet, and loves to play fetch. She can be calm and chill too; she enjoys lounging in her kennel. ============================= I'm overjoyed to open my home and heart to your beloved pet! 🐾🐾♥️ Giving them the love, attention, and connection they deserve isn't just a responsibility - it's a true passion of mine. I understand the importance of providing a safe, nurturing, enriching environment. Your dog will receive: ✅ personalized attention ✅ PAWsitive reinforcement (pets and treats; please let me know if your dog has any known allergies or sensitivities) ✅ regular exercise and potty breaks ✅ plenty of snuggles ============================== Whether you need daily visits, boarding, or extended care, I'm committed to giving your furry family member the same love and care that I would give to my own. I can send you updates and photos. Understanding the demands of your busy lifestyle/vacation, I offer easy drop-off and pick-up options that can conveniently align with your work or travel schedule (depending on how close you are, price is negotiable). From bouncy, rambunctious puppies to gentle seniors, I've got the expertise and heart to deliver personalized care that meets the unique needs of every furry friend, no matter their age or stage. ============================== Accidents happen, but damages or extra cleaning due to undisclosed habits may incur a fee. Let's chat about how I can help care for your loyal companion! *** Important note: If your dog marks inside, I consider them not fully potty trained. I strive to work with well-trained dogs to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all. Of course, I’m aware that puppies are still a work in progress. If your dog marks inside, they will be wearing a belly band during their stay with me. For each belly band they go through, there will be a $10 charge added for cleaning. *** ============================== I live on the border of Sevierville and Seymour. My neighborhood is peaceful. My secure backyard is doggy paradise! With plenty of space and grass to run around, play, explore, and do their business, I supervise closely to ensure all dogs have a blast together - and intervene if any furry friends need a break. My dogs and my clients’ dogs are never left outside unsupervised. I like to go on walks and would love to have a companion if that’s something your dog enjoys 🦮. I don’t have children so if your dog is uncomfortable around little people, no worries, none are here. ==============================

Juan has been a lifesaver for me!! I have a lot of four-legged kids - several of which have medical needs and need to be monitored and/or have medication administered multiple times a day. I could tell right away by meeting him that he was confident in his skills and could handle taking care of my kids when I travel. Highly recommend!!

Izzy is amazing and I have no worries leaving my fur babies in her care. She is on-time and is great with communicating if she is going to be a few minutes late. On my last trip she even noticed I had messed up on my days that I booked her and she was able to accommodate the mistake. I’m so greatful to have found her to care for my babies when I’m away :)

I personally have a cat and an English bulldog, but i have experience caring for everything from small animals such as guinea pigs, to large dogs such as bulldogs/pit bulls. i’m typically available for pet sitting from 8am-8pm Monday-Friday and anytime after 10am on Saturdays and Sundays. However I am flexiable if your pet needs more I can check in more often and possibly through the night. About: Hi there! I’m Ansley. I live in South Knoxville and work in animal science. I have over 10 years of experience caring for other people’s animals, and nearly 22 years of caring for my own pets. I worked in both small and large animal vet clinics as a veterinary assistant, so I’m comfortable giving medications and treating ill or elderly pets. I have two Labrador retrievers (6 years old and 6 months old) and a Manx cat that needs extra attention due to some health issues. I’m a very active person and frequently walk or run with my own dogs, so if you’re just looked for the occasional walk to get your pup’s energy out, I’m your gal! I also have a fenced in backyard so if you’re interested in a play date, message me and we can work something out! My boys love new friends. Unfortunately, my cat does not do well with other cats, but he LOVES dogs. He was a rescue as a kitten from the clinic I worked in, so he grew up around the dog boarding kennels and 100% thinks he’s one of them. I know Rover is for dogs and cats, but if you or anyone you know is looking for assistance with farm animals, I can help there too. I currently work in the dairy industry but have experience caring for all livestock species. I have BSA and MS degrees in Animal and Dairy Science. I’m available mostly during weekends and evenings during the week however my job is flexible and I can do drop in visits during my lunch, as well as on my way to work in the mornings. I’m happy to provide drop in visits and walks in client’s homes. As mentioned previously, I do have animals of my own and would be open to bringing a dog to my house if they are friendly and play well with others. I have a fenced in backyard that my dogs love. I cannot bring other cats into my house due to my own cat’s distaste for others, but he is fine with dogs.

We needed a pet sitter for my two very sweet cats on short notice between Christmas and new years Tasha graciously agreed to care for them. I rarely leave them longer than just overnight. Tasha did a great job carrying for my two fur babies. I certainly would love to have her are for them again in the future.

Nicole did a wonderful job taking care of our fur babies while we were away. Because we arrived back home around the times that Nicole had been coming to care for them in the evening, our cats came running to the door and seemed disappointed when they didn’t see her. I can’t give enough praises on how Nicole got on Miss Monster’s (aka Jezebel) good side and worked her magic while giving her the twice a day insulin shots she needs. And Toby keeps looking for his new best friend! We will definitely be calling on Nicole again in the future.

Tasha made our Christmas possible and carefree. I've never used a service before and I'm so glad that I did! Tasha was reliable and caring. Totally professional and knowledgeable. We never worried or felt stress. I thought it might be weird having someone that we don't know come into our home while we were gone, and also worried about our furbabies. After meeting Tasha, any fears were eliminated and we felt so confident. She has a kindhearted, capable, and trustworthy aura. She proved to be invaluable. She was a true Christmas blessing for us and them!!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Kimberlin Heights. On Rover:

  • 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
