“If you are looking for a reliable, responsive and trustworthy sitter, look no further! Breanne showed up on time for drop in visits, sent a lot of pictures and was super caring. Even very detailed in how each drop in visit went which was amazing to hear when out of town. I would recommend her to any of my personal friends and family and use her again. Scout also is a 82-83 pound ball of energy, couldn’t have asked for anyone better to look after and play with him.”

About: I was raised in a household where dogs and cats were always part of the family, which helped me develop a deep passion for their well-being from an early age. Over the years, I’ve gained extensive experience in caring for both species, understanding their unique needs and personalities. My knowledge extends to administering oral medications safely and effectively, always ensuring the animal is comfortable and stress-free during the process. I make it a priority to provide plenty of comfort and affection, as well as engaging playtime tailored to each pet’s preferences, helping to keep them both happy and healthy. This lifelong experience has made me attentive, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting the health and happiness of dogs and cats alike. With my flexible schedule, pet care easily integrates into both my daily and weekly routines. I am able to adjust my availability to meet the needs of each animal, ensuring meals, medication, exercise, and affection are provided at consistent times that suit their habits. This flexibility allows me to devote focused attention during morning, afternoon, and evening hours, whether it’s feeding and playtime or walks and grooming. On a weekly basis, I plan for deeper cleaning and enrichment activities, such as refreshing litter boxes, rotating toys for stimulation, and scheduling longer walks or social outings for dogs. My adaptable approach ensures that every pet receives the care and companionship they deserve, regardless of my other commitments, making their well-being a top priority throughout each day and week. Providing a safe environment for the animals is fundamental to their well-being and peace of mind. This includes ensuring that the living spaces are free of hazards, such as toxic plants, accessible electrical cords, or small objects that could be swallowed. Safety measures like secure fences for dogs and proper window screens for cats help prevent accidents and escape attempts, allowing pets to relax and feel protected in their surroundings. The importance of a safe environment extends beyond physical safety—it also reduces stress and anxiety, which can impact both behavior and health. When pets know their space is secure, they are more likely to thrive, exhibit positive behaviors, and form trusting bonds with their caretaker. By prioritizing safety, I create a nurturing atmosphere where every animal can enjoy comfort, companionship, and the freedom to play and explore without worry.
“I’m a nervous mama, especially when it comes to my senior dog. Cara was kind and patient with my pups and sent lots of pictures while I was enjoying Dollywood with my family. 100% recommend her services! 💜”

About: I am experienced in pet care. I'm an active animal foster and have been around animals of all sizes and ages. I also know how to administer meds, so if your baby is on anything no doses will be missed. I work from home, so your pet will have plenty of love and attention. I leave the house once daily to drop my kids off at school, so outside of that I'm here. I grocery shop Sundays so your baby will nearly never be alone. I have 2 dog that are used to other animals being in and out with me being a foster. I also have the ability to keep pets seperate but kennels must be provided. Please also bring a leash. I can only provide care to leash trained, house trained, kennel trained dogs.
About: I've lived on a farm since I was born, I've had more than my fair share of animals, most of my friends tease that I have a veritable menagerie. I love being able to provide care and peace of mind to pets and their people. I currently work on my families farm helping to take care of the animals and fix things as needed. Hence my schedule is incredibly flexible and I can fit your pets into my life seamlessly. I make sure every pet feels comfortable around me as the absolute baseline, if you've got an energetic go-getter I'm more than happy to play fetch for ages or even bring in enrichment activities from my own supply to keep them engaged and content while you're away.
About: I have taken care of pets since I was little and I have volunteered with many animal shelters with walking dogs, feeding, and grooming for example. I do work full time so I can take your pet for walks on weekends and holidays from 6 am to 2 pm mostly on Saturdays and Sundays I will take your pet for potty breaks, walks, or just to stop in and love on them. If you have a cat I can always scoop the litter box or refill water
“Leslie agreed to meet the dogs before her first visit and is very understanding of their different needs. She gave them more time to play than I expected and was patient with my fearful dog. Thank you!”

About: My day is a whirlwind of specialized diets, subcu fluids, and hiding pills in every substance known to man. I've helped countless animals through end-of-life care, giving them a dignified, warm exit. But when my medical shift ends, my haunted house shift begins... At 3:00 AM, while my 14 year old pitty in kidney failure snores like a broken chainsaw and my asthmatic cat in cardiac failure dreams of breakfast, I wake up to a chill in the room. There balancing on top of the 2 inch, open bedroom door, is my 2 year old calico girl. She hovers like a colorful sleep paralysis demon. She isn't sleeping. She is just staring. This is a nightly performance review of my hospice management skills. From sugar gliders and snakes to senior dogs and gravity-defying gargoyle cats, my home is a beautiful, exhausting testament to unconditional love. I try to provide the ultimate soft landing for animals who need it most—even the ones who choose to haunt me from my own doorframe. My schedule is a choose your own adventure book. I mostly work weekends, leaving my weekdays and nights wide open. I am also an online student, which is the ultimate pet sitting cheat code: it just means I can study from your couch while keeping your pets company. Day, night, or highly specific medication timings, I can easily adapt to whatever routine your pet demands. I’m currently running a max security animal hospice and prison ward out of my home. My clients are the following; The Wheezer: A 3 year old orange cat with asthma, a terminal heart murmur, and zero thoughts besides breakfast behind those eyes; The Princess: A 14 year old pit bull in Stage 4 kidney failure who still insists she is a 70 pound lap puppy; and The Cartel Leader: A 2 year old calico in peak physical condition, completely psychotic, and actively plotting my demise 24/7. I live in absolute terror. I am a combat medic and hostage negotiator. I’ve seen it all. I am fully prepared to administer any specialized food, sketchy medicine, or spiritual exorcism required. What can I do for you?

“She stepped in for us last minute and was incredible! Our dogs were so well taken care of, and she kept us updated the whole time which meant a lot. It’s not easy trusting someone with your pets, but she made it completely stress-free. We’re so thankful she was able to help on short notice and would absolutely book with her again!”

“We found Jen only the day before we needed someone to check on our pup. She was very quick to respond and communicated well with us. She confirmed she could get to our rental cabin before committing. She sent pictures of the time she spent with him. Highly recommend!”

“My cat has a very strong personality towards other people and Vanessa broke through his shell! She always sends daily updates with photos of my baby and I can relax while traveling knowing he’s in great hands with her while I’m gone!”

“Monique is amazing! We will continue to use her as long as she is available. Our cats love her and she does absolutely everything for them while we are away. I am a very anxious pet owner and I appreciate all of the photos and detailed updates she sends while we are out of town. Thank you again Monique!❤️”

About: I’ve helped care for pets since 2008 and have had my own sweet girl for 8 years now! I’m one of “those people” who prefer dogs to humans. Services include drop-in visits, dog walking, and house sitting at the owner’s location. I’m currently working an early shift so I’ve got plenty of extra afternoon and evening time for loving on my baby and yours too! Available most weekends as well. Willing to care for your pet in YOUR home! I will treat myself as a guest and provide the service as if they were my own. Keeping our four-legged friends comfortable and in their own environment/routine is most important to me.
“Jennifer is an all star sitter! She has been on time and in touch communicating with photos and text. This is the first experience I have had with a dog sitter and it’s the best experience. No commercial kennels will be in my pups futures! I plan on using Jennifer again!”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Kodak. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
