“Tasha has been amazing. She has faithfully taken my dog out. She has also had open and clear communication with me making it easier to leave my puppy at home knowing she will help take him out.”

“Emmy was great!. We went to Cincinnati for a baseball game. Cotton can be alone for a long time, but we knew it would be a 12 hour day. Emmy came to take Cotton on a long walk. Cotton got some company and a potty break. Then a big nap. Emmy even sent some pics of Cotton on the walk. Thanks!”

“Sydney did a great job of taking care of my pup, Mickey, while we were on vacation in Sevierville, May 8 -13, 2026. Sydney was good with Mickey and very reliable. She regularly drove Mickey to Patriot Park for walks. She even took care of Mickey on Mother's Day, which allowed my family and me to spend the day worry-free at Anakeesta Adventure Park. I hope Sydney's available again next year!”

About: I have experience with all different types of pets and have paid experience the past six years. I will make sure your pet stays on their routine and feels happy and loved while you’re away. During sits my wife tends to join me. She’s also very experienced with animals and has farm and exotic animal experience. If this is something you are not comfortable with, I am happy to adjust this. I am taking some time to start my own business with my wife. So there’s plenty of time and attention to go around. Most of my work can be scheduled around Rover. If I am housesitting however I may have to leave for a few hours at a time but usually no longer than 3 or 4 so that your pet gets the maximum amount of attention possible. Safety is always a top priority and your pups will always be kept on the same type of schedule they have when they are with you to ensure they aren’t thrown off their routine when you return.

I love them all dearly I can stop by for a check in and walk and give your pet all kinds of love and treats if allowed. Im available pretty much any day.
“Alexis was fantastic! She had great communication from start to finish, brought treats for our dogs, and gave us detailed updates and photos during her visit. Knowing our dogs were being so well cared for made our day at Dollywood completely stress-free. She was reliable, thoughtful, and clearly loves animals. We would absolutely book with Alexis again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter or dog walker!”

About: I'm a veterinarian out due to an injury. Missing the interactions with fur babies! I'm slowly getting back to work but until I'm full time again I'd like to help people out by caring for their beloved pets! I will treat them as my own and communicate with the owners as often as they want! No animal is off limits! They will be in great hands. I'm home most of the time aside from occasional doctors appointments and occasionally work shifts (currently very part time) I have 3 cats and 1 dog myself. Other than working with animals as a veterinarian, my own pets are a full time job. They bring me such joy and entertainment. Even as an adult, if I pass someone with a pet I will always stop to ask to pet it. I'm extremely detail oriented. I'm always observing behavior and their regular routine. If something seems off I will address it and communicate it immediately. My love for animals is my life's work.
“Cara took great care of our pups while we visited Gatlinburg during the week of Christmas. She even left us a wonderful Christmas card with pictures of our pups printed out. It was a wonderful touch!”

“Rachel was awesome! Kept me informed through the whole process by letting me know when she was on the way, sent pictures during the walk, let me know when she got back, and that my house was locked up when she left. It was so nice having that piece of mind while I was at work. I definitely recommend her. Thank you Rachel!”

About: I’ve cared for all kinds of pets throughout my life and often helped friends with theirs as well. Animals have always been a big part of my world, and I truly love spending time with them. I’d be honored to give your pet the same love and care I give my own, and I hope to be the one you trust with your best friend! I am currently unemployed so I am almost always available. I have a dog of my own that I will have to go home and see sometimes if I am house sitting. Just give me a message and we can discuss details and figure out what works best for both of us. At my home, pets are treated like part of the family with lots of love, playtime, and snuggles. I do my best to keep their routine close to what they’re used to so they feel comfortable and happy. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow your instructions carefully—whether it’s feeding, walks, meds, or just extra belly rubs to make sure your pet feels safe and cared for while you’re away.
“Nyla walked our dog for us. She was very knowledgable about dogs and listened to all of our concerns. She took good care of our dog, being attentive to other dogs that may have been a threat to avoid any negative interactions. She sent us lots of pictures and a report card! We plan to work with her again and would highly recommend her.”

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.
Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Kodak. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Kodak.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Kodak. On Rover:
- 95% of walkers can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 99% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
