About: Specifically I understand the needs of French Bulldogs in certain weather conditions. I also understand other short legged friends that need accommodations and have restrictions such as jumping off furniture or when playing not throwing things too high. I run my own business but have a flexible schedule. I am also a grad student who is about to graduate and will open more time in my schedule. Currently I am available various times during the week with a lot of availability on the weekends. My pup has accommodations in every room of the house. I make sure he has the right food bowls for his breed (elevated and tilted). He also has a variety of toys and doggy door to go sunbathe or potty anytime of the day. I understand cleaning up after our furry friends and making sure they have exactly what they need.

About: I have experience with all different types of pets and have paid experience the past six years. I will make sure your pet stays on their routine and feels happy and loved while you’re away. During sits my wife tends to join me. She’s also very experienced with animals and has farm and exotic animal experience. If this is something you are not comfortable with, I am happy to adjust this. I am taking some time to start my own business with my wife. So there’s plenty of time and attention to go around. Most of my work can be scheduled around Rover. If I am housesitting however I may have to leave for a few hours at a time but usually no longer than 3 or 4 so that your pet gets the maximum amount of attention possible. Safety is always a top priority and your pups will always be kept on the same type of schedule they have when they are with you to ensure they aren’t thrown off their routine when you return.

About: I have taken care of many fur babies since I was 6 years old. Most of the family animals have had health issues that has taught me how to administer medication, give baths, clip nails, and more. Cat and dog friendly! I am available everyday of the week except Sunday 11am-11pm! I can also stay in home over nights upon request. Sundays reserved for sittings only. I currently have two cats who are very shy so I do not offer over night stays in my own home. However, I am more than happy to do over nights in the clients home. I have experience administering medicine by pill & injection. I also have experience in nail clipping & bathing of both dogs and cats. About: I’m a college student who loves animals. I’ve been dog sitting and taking care of pets since I was little. I had a regular who I dog and house sat for but I had to move cities for college. I’m responsible and will put the health and safety of your pets first! You can rely on me to walk, feed, play with, and care for your pet (almost 😉) as much as you do! About: I’ve house sat, pet sat, baby sat, since I was in high school! I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life. I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Speech Language Pathology at UT and am looking for some furry friends to hang out with between studying! I’m currently in school so my schedule is more open than working a 9-5! This summer I have several days a week completely open and am super flexible! There’s nothing I love more than giving love and care to your fur babies! I’m ready to care for the littlest puppies to our senior citizens!

About: I've had pets my whole life, mostly cats, but also bunnies, goats, and a dog. I have also volunteered at animal shelters, and worked in both veterinary clinics and grooming salons. I'm a licensed veterinary technician, which means I am very comfortable giving medications as needed, and may even be able to trim nails or bathe dogs with an additional helper. I have taken care of cats, dog, horses, goats, a tortoise, and a few small pocket pets. I am comfortable with most species, but have limited experience with pocket pets, reptiles and birds. I'm currently in the process of looking for a full-time job, so I have more time than usual to take care of your pet(s)! When I get the full-time job, I will be more limited to dog-walking and drop-in appointments, with more availability on the weekends and holidays. I currently live in an apartment building, so I plan to mostly do dog-walking or drop-in apartments. I have a cat currently at my apartment, who prefers dogs over cats, but may get along with a cat with a careful introduction (she tends to be too playful at times).

“Jack has a kind, commanding presence with our 5-yr old large labradoodle Keanu. They both connected immediately upon their first meeting. Keanu looks forward to seeing Jack every day but we have Jack walking him only three times a week as I recover from surgery. Jack did a good deed today after the one-hour morning walk. Another neighborhood dog was lost and followed them to our house. She needed help and trusted Jack to walk her back home across a busy main road from my subdivision. After Jack checked her dog tags, I immediately recognized who she was. The lost pup let me leash her up with one of our spare leashes, and off they went back to her house. Happy ending.”

About: Hi there! I’m Ansley. I live in South Knoxville and work in animal science. I have over 10 years of experience caring for other people’s animals, and nearly 22 years of caring for my own pets. I worked in both small and large animal vet clinics as a veterinary assistant, so I’m comfortable giving medications and treating ill or elderly pets. I have two Labrador retrievers (6 years old and 6 months old) and a Manx cat that needs extra attention due to some health issues. I’m a very active person and frequently walk or run with my own dogs, so if you’re just looked for the occasional walk to get your pup’s energy out, I’m your gal! I also have a fenced in backyard so if you’re interested in a play date, message me and we can work something out! My boys love new friends. Unfortunately, my cat does not do well with other cats, but he LOVES dogs. He was a rescue as a kitten from the clinic I worked in, so he grew up around the dog boarding kennels and 100% thinks he’s one of them. I know Rover is for dogs and cats, but if you or anyone you know is looking for assistance with farm animals, I can help there too. I currently work in the dairy industry but have experience caring for all livestock species. I have BSA and MS degrees in Animal and Dairy Science. I’m available mostly during weekends and evenings during the week however my job is flexible and I can do drop in visits during my lunch, as well as on my way to work in the mornings. I’m happy to provide drop in visits and walks in client’s homes. I cannot bring other cats into my house due to my own cat’s distaste for others, but he is fine with dogs.

About: I have taken care of my own dogs, neighbors dogs, and friends dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. I am always all of their first calls when they need some last minute walks, feedings, or overnight sittings. I am an independent contractor so I set my own schedule outside of dog walking so I am always pretty available. I am also a college athlete so my schedule can be fairly hectic during the day, but my evenings are always wide open for lots of attention and play time When caring for your dog in your home, I will make sure to follow all instructions you have left me and ensure I contact you if I have any questions that could put your dogs safety at risk. I want to ensure their owner has peace of mind that they’re fur baby is being well taken care of. I am a college student and a student athlete so mornings/afternoons can be a little hectic. I am still able to provide some play time and attention with that. However, my evening are always wide open to provide even extra attention and play time for the dogs. I always make sure to keep them a priority in my schedule either way! I want to make sure to follow the dog’s normal routine to put them in as much ease as possible. Being left with a stranger can sometimes be stressful, but I will be sure to try and ease that for them.

Your pets become mine for a few days! I would care for them as if they were my own. I let pets staying in my home on the furniture and sleep in my bed. My personal pets vacate my home and stay with their other parent while I am sitting to eliminate conflicts with guest pets. 🐈 I send as many pictures as you want and I am available by text all day.
