About: I spent 11 wonderful years with my two standard poodles Molly and Loki. I recently lost them in the past couple years and miss them dearly. I would like to offer daycare and lodging for poodles and doodles. I am highly allergic to other breeds so I need to stick with the breed I love. My husband and I are retired and can offer much comfort and love to your babies when you travel or are at work. They will be spoiled rotten and adored while in my care. We are both retired and available quite often unless we are planning to travel. This is not a career for us. I am simply doing this because I love the breed and miss my dog's dearly but I'm just not ready to get another dog. I have a fenced in yard and can also walk dogs weather permitting. Pups will have the run of the house. We would never feed a pup anything that was not provided as both our dogs had gastro issues and we know how important it is to their health not to feed them off diet.
“Madison and Brandon were amazing dog sitters for Teddy. They were very patient and worked with him to get to know their three dogs. Very responsive and attentive to Teddy.”

“I am in the hospital and my regular sitter needed to go away for the weekend. I booked and confirmed with her very easily. She was great with communication with both myself and the regular sitter who dropped my dog off and picked her up. She regularly updated me with photos of them on a walk and my dog looked very happy in them. Everything went great I would for sure use Angie again.”

“I am very happy with the care my two dogs received while staying with Jemily and her family. It was so nice receiving videos and pictures throughout their stay so I could feel confident that they were having a great time and were being well taken care of! I highly recommend her if you are needing someone to care for your pets.”

About: I’m a retired teacher who loves all animals. I want to play with your fur babies. I’ve had 4 cats and 4 dogs and know how important it is to have a loving relationship with a pet. I know how much your pet means to you and I would love your trust in such a big role in your pets life. I’m newly retired and have a wide open schedule to care for your baby’s needs. I’m available 24/7. I can travel, stay, and play with your babies The way I would look after your pet would be the same as I look after my own. Nurturing and patience are my most important values. I can walk and play, administer medications, and do some light training and grooming.
“Maria is truly amazing. She took care of my dog, Echo, while I was away on a long trip, and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. She’s so caring, kind, and thoughtful, you can tell she genuinely loves what she does and treats every pet as her own. She kept me updated and made me feel completely at ease knowing Echo was happy and loved. I know Echo misses her and the little routine they created together. I feel really lucky to have someone I can count on like Maria when I need.”

“Shannon has cared for my senior Chi-weenie in such a loving and kind way! She's added a lot of ease to my work travel, with her updates about how he's doing while I'm away. Awesome all around :)”

“Amber made pick up and drop off quick and easy. She provided updates and photos/videos during our stay and accommodated us when we were running late. Would use her services again.”

“Mary & her husband were fantastic! I could tell that Missy would be well cared for and would enjoy her stay. Mary sent me pictures of their activities throughout the day. I felt very comfortable and at ease, knowing that my little girl was safe and in good hands. I definitely will pick Mary again!”

About: I love animals. Pets are family, and they need just as much love and attention as humans do. My two dogs Lucy who is 7 and Charlie who is 12 are very well trained. Lucy does get excited when she meets new people and pets but after she gets some good sniffs in she settles down. They both have been around my grandkids all there lives and they have been around my children's pets both dogs and cats . All my pets have been well trained and well taken care of as well as being really spoiled. I have a small job that only takes me away from my home for 4 hours out of the week. I do have grandkids on the weekends sometimes but other then that I am home unless I have errands to run. I have a large fenced in yard. I would stay outside with your pet since they wouldn't be used to the yard. My house has two gates one separating mudroom dining area and the other separating the kitchen dining area . So if dogs need to be kept separate I am able to do so. I also have a small crate that I can use if need be. My dog Lucy is very playful Charlie is old and for the most part just watches and barks but sometimes he will decide to get up and play . My dogs as well as your dogs safety if my first priority. So if the dogs need to be kept in there separate areas I can do that and I would make sure to spend time with all the dogs individually .
“This family was wonderful and I’m so happy with how they took care of my furry family member. They kept me updated with messages and photos. Would definitely recommend Lori. This was my first time using Rover and having someone dog sit so I was a little nervous. From the second I met the family, all the nerves went away. They took such wonderful care of her!”

About: I've had dogs my whole life. Most of the time more than one. I started looking into doing this on my own after I had such a hard time finding a place for my own babies when I went on vacation. There is a huge backyard for them to play. And plenty of space for them to sleep at night. There are plenty of doggy beds, but if you prefer to bring your babies bed/bedroom feel free to do so. I work from a home office. During the day, I take breaks and go outside with them for a bit. Other than that, they will have open access to a back yard to play all day long. Or if you or they prefer, we could keep them inside. I would providing the necessary potty breaks several times per day when I take a break. I'm very protective of all of them. As animals in my care, they are my responsibility to make sure they're kept safe. I take it very seriously.
“Bandit has such a great time with Michael! I cannot say enough good things, and we've already booked more visits. Michael is truly a dog person, great with senior doggos and very kind and communicative.”

“Ashley and David did very well with watching Nova! I definitely recommend them when it comes to drop in visits and boarding! They kept me updated and informed by sending pictures and commented very well! I will definitely be using them in the future.”

About: I have volunteered and worked over 10 years with an animal rescue. I have a lot of experience with different dog breeds, ages, personalities, and special needs. I have been a dog owner my whole life. I currently have one dog, a 9year old lab/heeler mix. She is friendly and loves to meet new friends! I currently work part-time from home which allows me to care for your dog full-time. I'm very open and flexible with schedules. I'm available for short or long term stays. I don't have a fenced in yard, but I do have 3 acres for your fur baby to run around and play. I will also akways keep your dog on a leash outside if needed. My home is a caring and loving environment where your dog will feel safe and loved. My husband and I treat our dogs like our kids and will treat yours the same!
“Sydney was great with Murphy. We received updates and photos on a daily basis. Murphy enjoyed his snuggle time, play time, backyard time, and evening walks. He was a happy boy when picked him up.”

“Melissa took wonderful care of our fur babies! It was a short stay but Chocolate Chip and Remy had so much fun with her dog Willow and the other border, Chase. Little Remy really bonded with Melissa and ended up sleeping with her. He’s a picky eater and Melissa was so kind to hand feed him! Would definitely board our pups with her again.”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover and am blessed to have two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and two Persian cats as part of my family. I’ve cared for pets my whole life, from puppies and kittens to older pets who need a calmer pace and extra patience. I treat every pet like my own and focus on safety, routine, and lots of play time and cuddles! My pets are extremely friendly and would love to have some friends! I’m home full time and due to my remote career I have a very flexible schedule! I can accommodate most scheduling requests. Please note I will only board one dog at a time to prioritize their well being. I will treat your pet as I do my own! My dogs go on two long walks each day around beautiful st Clair (morning and afternoon). We have a fenced in yard for frequent potty breaks. Playtime is a must. Your dog can hop on the sofa for a nap or sleep in their crate- whatever they prefer.
Kimball dog parents share their Rover experiences
I am so happy that George and Darla did so well at Jessica and Ben’s house. They were really at ease when I picked them up and seemed like they fit in well. I had a little separation anxiety since Darla has never stayed anywhere overnight, but Jessica kept me posted with pictures and text messages so I was worry free. They live within a few miles of me so it is super convenient!
