“Shannon was the ansolute best for my senior pittie. I was so nervous about having someone watch him for an entire week while on vacay. Mostly due to his diabetes and needing insulin injections every 12 hrs. Not only did she manage his diabetes well she provided a fun environment for him, updates on his goofy behavior (lol) and a welcoming environment with many other pups for him to play with. I found my Rover sitter! Hands down. And less than 15 min drive from my home too ☺ ? thank you Shannon. I highly recommend!!”

About: I’ve taken care of & shown all kinds & sizes of dogs since I was 8. Currently only have one dog, but he’s a big boy. I’ve showed Golden, Poms, GSD, husky and our current pet is a Berner/Pyrenees. Groomed all of them too. Also experienced with livestock, so I can handle anything! Grew up with horses, goats, cats and rabbits. Super excited to meet your baby! I am looking to fill some time, so I would be super excited to visit your pet! I’m also very flexible on scheduling as well. I will try to keep your pet to their normal schedule, so even if you are gone, they will not be too upset. About: Hi there! I'm Liz! I am the owner and operator of Critter Care and Rescue! Everyone who knows me, knows that my life revolves around animals! I personally own/foster/rehab dogs, cats, horses, small animals and even wildlife! Professionally, I've worked in the animal field since my first job at a pet boarding facility when I was 17. - I am trained for dog/cat Heimlich & CPR (have successfully used that training to save a dog's life!) - Over 20 years of experience with practically every domesticated pet - Worked for 3 years professionally as a canine trainer - I do wildlife rehab, and have successfully rehabbed and released numerous wild critters! - I fear no species, breed or size! I own my own company - Critter Care and Rescue! This is my full time job, which allows me the freedom to pick up pet care appointments, even with very short notice. I treat every animal I interact with as if they are my own. I am hyper vigilant about safety- whether that is environmental, the animal's health or the body language an animal is showing. About: I have been caring for dogs, cats, horses and pigs for years. My entire family loves animals and we have been sitting for years. We live in an area that is close to beach, trails and parks. I will run, walk, swim with your dog(s)! I have had puppies, older dogs, and foster dogs of all kinds. We will give the utmost attention to your fur baby and will abide by all routines and dietary needs that are required. The only requirement for our household is that your pup must have a good temperament around children. I don’t work a standard Monday-Friday schedule and will always work with a client for availability. I will only accept a client if I know I can give my full attention. We foster a caring environment in our home, we have a fenced yard and can crate if you require it. Your pet will always be safe.

About: We have 3 goldens at home and love dogs! My husband used to work at a doggy day care. We frequently care for many friends and families pets. We are so excited to meet your furry friends! I am a night shift nurse and my husband works day shift so one of us is home at all times. Our 3 goldens are not crate trained and we allow animals on all the furniture. We can let the dogs out to run in the privacy-fenced backyard anytime. We have a privacy-fenced large yard and 3 goldens to keep your babies company and have a fun time! We can feed on any schedule you would like.

About: I've had dogs my whole life. Most of the time more than one. I started looking into doing this on my own after I had such a hard time finding a place for my own babies when I went on vacation. There is a huge backyard for them to play. And plenty of space for them to sleep at night. There are plenty of doggy beds, but if you prefer to bring your babies bed/bedroom feel free to do so. I work from a home office. During the day, I take breaks and go outside with them for a bit. Other than that, they will have open access to a back yard to play all day long. Or if you or they prefer, we could keep them inside. I would providing the necessary potty breaks several times per day when I take a break. I'm very protective of all of them. As animals in my care, they are my responsibility to make sure they're kept safe. I take it very seriously.

About: Over the years I have watched over many different breeds of dogs, everything from breeding to bathing. I truly enjoy every part of the pet process. We currently have one 8 month old puppy that currently runs the house (or so she thinks) and one cat that actually does run the house. We love them both to the moon and back. I’m available for boarding on weekends at the time so there will be lots of time to play with your pups, maybe even go for a car ride and get a pup cup… I have a fenced yard and a friendly 8 month old puppy to keep your fur baby company while in my care. I can crate your dog if needed…

About: I’m excited to care for your pet! I love all animals and even wanted to become a veterinarian! I have a two Siamese cats who are good with dogs. I have split-custody of a two year old poodle named Tony. I can send him to my dad’s house if you prefer to not have other dogs around, but he LOVES to play with other dogs. We go to the Fort Gratiot dog park often! My family growing up raised golden retriever puppies, so I am comfortable with all energy levels! Personally, I am also trying to exercise more so I would love to take your dog for a short or long walk! Any other questions you have, feel free to ask! I live in Fort Gratiot and am currently not working, so I am happy to tend to your pet at pretty much anytime of the day 😊 In my home, pets are allowed on furniture and on the bed. Food is given at scheduled times of the day - no free feeding so you would not have to worry about your pet eating other food. I am happy to house puppies and senior dogs. I can take them outside on a leash as I don’t have a fenced in yard. I have two acres on a dirt road in for gratiot.
