About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely enjoy. Right now I have four cats, two dogs, and two rabbits, so I’m used to taking care of multiple pets with different needs and personalities. One of my dogs is very old and has become blind and deaf, which has taught me a lot about patience, paying attention to details, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable. Caring for him has given me experience working with animals that need a little extra support and attention. I also volunteered at a horse rescue and rehabilitation facility for a year, where I helped with feeding, grooming, cleaning stalls, and caring for horses. Working with horses taught me how to safely handle large animals, stay calm under pressure, and understand animal behavior. It gave me a lot of confidence and responsibility that I still use when caring for pets today. Besides my own animals, I’ve helped care for pets belonging to family, friends, and neighbors over the years. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, walks, litter box cleaning, basic medications, playtime, and making sure pets get plenty of attention while their owners are away. I’m a 19-year-old college student currently on summer break and working part-time, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets because I feel the same way about my own.
