Hannah was exemplary in this. She was very calm and respectful to them, and our female warmed to her instantly. Our male is usually incredibly shy, but even he did not hide during her visits (just stayed high above in the loft peering down, which is “social” for him). That our cats trusted her was the biggest reassurance we could hope for. She followed our care requests to the letter and sent very cute pics while we were away. Ruth is that rare gem. Yes, she bonded beautifully with my fur babies (even my shy one warmed up to her immediately, but what really stood out was her *meticulous care*. Clean pet bowls—like, actually clean, not just rinsed. No slimy water bowls sitting there for days like I’ve seen with other sitters. She took the time to scrub, refresh, and make sure everything was spotless. That level of detail is hard to find. She also took out the trash, swept around *all three* litter boxes (one per cat), and made sure everything was tidy. It’s rare to find someone who’s both nurturing and this thorough. Her daily updates and adorable photos gave me peace of mind, which is priceless when you’re far from home. Ruth is the full package. Reliable, caring, clean, and incredibly thoughtful. About: I’ve always been an animal lover, and dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up with them since I was five gave me the chance to learn firsthand how to care for different breeds with all kinds of personalities and needs. Somewhere along the way, taking care of dogs just became second nature to me. I’m currently a college student at the University of North Florida, and even with a busy schedule, I always make time for the dogs in my life. I am also in Delta Gamma sorority and I love doing volunteer work I go to the human society a lot with my sorority. My first pup was a super energetic Jack Russell who kept me on my toes and showed me the importance of regular exercise and mental stimulation. Later on, I got experience with bigger breeds like a Great Dane and an English Bull Mastiff—both gentle giants that taught me patience and how to handle mobility and health concerns with care. I’ve also looked after a smart and active Brittany Spaniel mix, a trio of fun-loving Labradors, and now my two mini Goldendoodles who are all about snuggles, grooming, and consistency. Each dog has taught me something different, and I’ve really come to appreciate how important it is to adjust care based on their unique needs and personalities. Whether it’s a puppy full of energy or a senior dog who moves a little slower, I’m confident in my ability to provide the kind of attention and care they deserve. I love being active, I’m super dependable, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs—which is why I think I’d be a great fit for Rover dog walking. I’m all about keeping dogs happy, safe, and feeling loved, and giving pet parents peace of mind while I do it. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine as I prioritize providing consistent, quality care.
