About: I've had pet since my earliest memories. On top of caring for pets of my own, including cats, dogs, reptiles, arachnids, and more, I also fostered animals in southern Indiana for 5+ years. Now that I'm in the Cincinnati area I want to find a way to help animals again so I joined Rover! When caring for pets in someones home I always make sure to have a list of things the pet parents want to make sure is done. I also make sure all cabinets and doors are secure before leaving a room, this way pets can't get into anything they shouldn't. When outside with the pups, I always make sure to keep them on the outside away from the road when walking on sidewalks.

I have a 5-year-old Australian Shepherd back home, who I personally helped train, and I previously cared for my family’s 14-year-old senior dog in her final days, so I understand the unique needs of both energetic and aging dogs. About: I regularly pet sit for friends and family. 1-3 weeks mostly; but can do just a few days as well. Private home with a fenced yard. Dog lead in yard is available. I love to walk! Short or long walks are all fine with me. I’ve been around dogs my entire life. I’ve owned 3 in my adult life. I even fostered a dog for 9 months! It was hard to give her up; but she went to a loving home. I’m honest and trustworthy and dogs just make every day better! I work a pretty flexible schedule. I’m retired so I have lots of time. If your dog likes car rides and public parks…awesome! There’s also 2-3 dog parks not far from my house I have a big yard that's about 70 yards deep and I have a secured lead in both front and back yards. For added safety, I attach an air tag to your pets collar. There are sidewalks all around my neighborhood for safe walks on a leash. I'm not a fan of dog parks. I prefer to select my walking path to ensure your pets safety. I live alone.
About: I’ve had an obvious and innate love of all types of critters ever since I’ve had both feet on the floor. No matter their personality, furry (or scaley!) friends always brings a smile to my face. About: Family and friends started asking me to take care of their pets when I was around 15 years old. Ever since, I've taken care of dogs and cats (even a few lizards!) for people all over my hometown. I've done simple tasks like going to someone's home to just let the dogs out to potty and feed them, all the way to staying at people's homes while they're away.
