We were afraid that she'd have trouble settling in because she's very attached to us, but we were put at ease when Alison sent a picture of our girl sleeping on a comfy couch. About: While I have plenty of experience with dogs and various small critters, I am most definitely a cat Mama to my core. About: I regularly pet sit for friends and family. 1-3 weeks mostly; but can do just a few days as well. Private home with a fenced yard. Dog lead in yard is available. I love to walk! Short or long walks are all fine with me. I’ve been around dogs my entire life. I’ve owned 3 in my adult life. I even fostered a dog for 9 months! It was hard to give her up; but she went to a loving home. I’m honest and trustworthy and dogs just make every day better! I work a pretty flexible schedule. I’m retired so I have lots of time. If your dog likes car rides and public parks…awesome! There’s also 2-3 dog parks not far from my house I have a big yard that's about 70 yards deep and I have a secured lead in both front and back yards. For added safety, I attach an air tag to your pets collar. There are sidewalks all around my neighborhood for safe walks on a leash. I'm not a fan of dog parks. I prefer to select my walking path to ensure your pets safety. I live alone.

When outside with the pups, I always make sure to keep them on the outside away from the road when walking on sidewalks.

About: I’ve had an obvious and innate love of all types of critters ever since I’ve had both feet on the floor. No matter their personality, furry (or scaley!) friends always brings a smile to my face. My first pets were fish, gerbils, guinea pigs and geckos in my lower/middle/high school years and these days I spend all my free time with my 6 year-old tabby, Sock. About: Family and friends started asking me to take care of their pets when I was around 15 years old. Ever since, I've taken care of dogs and cats (even a few lizards!) for people all over my hometown. I've done simple tasks like going to someone's home to just let the dogs out to potty and feed them, all the way to staying at people's homes while they're away. When I was between jobs as a teenager, I briefly worked for a local company that took care of pets on the daily. I've taken care of puppies, small dogs, big dogs, senior dogs who need meds and extra patience, etc. I have a huge heart and am a very empathetic person, especially when it comes to animals of any kind. About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life since I was 6. My grandma was a manager at a pet store and I spent much of my time there learning about how to care for them. I developed a deep love for animals during that time and would administer medication to her own English Mastiff. I also have experience with dogs with seizures by caring for a Greyhound with epilepsy and my own dog that’s also epileptic. In the mean time, I volunteered at Animal Friends, a no-kill shelter in the socialization program. Aside from that, I have also owned a miniature pig in the past and a husky but presently have an adult cat and 2.5 year old Pomeranian that loves dogs of all ages, breeds and sizes.My home is open to all pets :) I am available for long-term set schedules but whatever you need works for me. “I needed a place to board my dog for a night while my husband and I went to a wedding. Our dog has been to standard daycare facilities but isn't fond of being left alone so we didn't like the idea of her staying in a kennel. Alison was really accommodating and assured us that our sweet girl would get plenty of attention and play time with her own dogs, which is perfect because our girl loves to make friends. We were afraid that she'd have trouble settling in because she's very attached to us, but we were put at ease when Alison sent a picture of our girl sleeping on a comfy couch. They also made sure she had her allergy meds and food. This is exactly the environment and attention our dog needs to be comfortable being away from us for a bit. Thank you so much for watching her!”

She was also very flexible with pickup and drop off times, and worked with me to arrange the times which was very helpful. While I was on my trip my 2 dogs were able to play in group play and I got updated and even pictures! Hailey assured me my babies were getting taken care of! I was running a few hours behind and she was able to make modifications to my trip which was very easy ! When I got my pups they had cute bandannas on and smelled like they got a bath which was a nice touch ! She told me her back ground with dogs and she forsure has lots of experience!
