It was also nice knowing Erin would be home to watch our puppy, since this was the first time we'd left her for an extended period of time. Erin's kids and dog were an added bonus, since we knew Maggie would get plenty of attention and exercise. Maggie came home happy and tired, which we greatly appreciated. Our original booking cancelled on us three hours before dropping our dog due to a family emergency, and I was frantically looking for a sitter because I had paid for a hotel and it was an important event for us.
