We're looking forward to seeing you again later this month.”

“Ashley stopped by and gave Wrangler all the love and attention he needed. I’m sure he was happy to see her! She’s trustworthy, reliable, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her for your pet care needs.”

About: I genuinely have the greatest passion for animals and love being around them and caring for them. I own a house near town with a large backyard and tons of dog toys and beds. I don’t own any pets myself, and work remote as a with my partner. However, my true passion has always been for animals. I have volunteered at local humane societies since I was 12, and even an elephant sanctuary! I was on the board of the largest animal shelter in Chicago (PAWS), and have received formal training in dog behavior and handling. I have experience caring for and walking numerous dogs of every size and breed. I know of some good local parks around here and am willing to take energetic dogs on runs with me! I go on runs everyday, so having a furry friend to accompany me on them would be ideal. I can watch your pet attentively and give them lots of attention throughout the day due to my flexible work schedule. My partner and I both work remote and can provide care for your animal(s) around the clock and can be home with them all day. I treat your animal as if it’s my own, simple as that. They will get ample attention throughout the day, as well as a minimum of 3 walks and lots of play time. I prepare frozen fruits and vegetables that are especially healthy for dogs before I welcome pets into my home so I have healthy treats available at all times. I have also purchased my own dog toys and beds that I have around my home to ensure your animal is always comfortable and entertained.

“Lauren was wonderful!!! We have used her twice (one was so last minute) and she really helped us out. Very prompt on her visits and took the best care of our dog. We will definitely be repeat customers.”

About: I have had pets since I was 2 years old, and growing up with them made me develop an unconditional passion. I decided to turn this love into “work”, I created a treats brand, and I also take care of the puppies as if they were my own. I have Monday and Tuesday off, so I can take care of puppies all day. My main job starts at 4 pm, from Wednesday to Sunday, so I have the morning free to play and take care of them 🥰 Tell me more about your pet, I’ll meet all their needs and I also guarantee that I’ll offer lots of affection and love. We will be best friends 🩵

About: I have a master's degree in Primate Conservation. I have been pet-sitting (cats and dogs) since 2016. I have also been working with primates in zoos, rescue and rehabilitation centers, and zoos since 2002! I'm experiences administering meds, food, and even intramuscular injections to all sorts of animals. I've also assisted in veterinary surgeries in Africa (but I'm not a veterinarian or a vet tech -- I've just worked in a lot of different settings with animals). I teach ESL remotely during nights (my students are in China), so if I'm hired for pet sitting in your home, then I'll need wifi access. I'm also running a research project a few mornings a week. I will come to your home to provide services, such as walking, sitting, taking to play groups, or feeding. I am not able to host dogs in my home.

“Wow! Kris and her daughters were great with my cat Nugget. He usually takes a couple days to warm up to people, but they had him playing by the end of the first visit. I had many schedule changes throughout Kris's visits, and she was always so accommodating. I'll definitely be using her the next time I go on a trip. Thank you Kris!”

About: I worked in a dog boarding and pet day care facility all through high school. Afterwards I did dog walking and pet sitting for those same families after I graduated and continued until recently when I moved. I grew up with lots of pets and I love every single one of them. Dogs hold a very special place in my heart. I have practice dispensing medication to animals due to my past job experience. I’m very active and love playing with dogs and taking them for walks. I also volunteered in my local animal shelter in the beginning of college. I’ve spent plenty of time around dogs, cats, and lots of other animals through out my life. Thank you for reading.(: I’m currently working from home part time while also taking my last few college classes online, so I have a lot of free time and flexibility to care for animals and make sure they’re getting the play time they deserve. I have lots of experience with high energy dogs and fostering a safe environment for them to get out the energy through fun play and runs.

About: I had a dog for 12 years when I was growing up, and I have two cats now who are the loves of my life! I've worked with exotic animals as well, and really just have such a soft spot for animals. They're family! I'm currently working 30 hours a week at a climbing gym, and am looking to spend the other 10 taking care of your babies! I'm available 7:30-10:30 a.m. Monday-Thursday, and 7:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. Currently I'm only able to take care of pets in your home, as I need to get my cats acclimated to dogs. Enrichment is very important to me, so I would be happy to play with and brush your pet, in addition to walks!

About: I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes and energy levels. Whether your pup loves to run, hike, or just explore the neighborhood, we’re sure to be fast friends. Spending time with dogs is incredibly rewarding to me since they’re always excited to get outside and enjoy the day. I’ve been a lifelong dog lover and have spent the past five years providing trusted, informal dogsitting and walking for friends and neighbors. Whether your dog is young, old, big or small, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy and right at home. If your pup has any special needs or preferences, I’m pretty accommodating so just let me know how I can help! Pet care fits easily into my week, even with a varied schedule. I always make time for the pets I care for by planning my day around their needs first. Whether it’s morning walks, afternoon playtime, or evening checkins. My flexible availability allows me to accommodate different routines, and I’m committed to making sure each pet gets the attention, exercise, and affection they deserve, no matter what the day looks like. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, my top priority is creating a safe and comfortable environment that feels just like home. No matter the setting, I care for each pet as if they were my own - with patience, attention and a whole lot of love.

“We received picture updates and the dogs looked good and happy. I would recommend Oksana to others and I will definitely keep her at the top of my list for sitters when needed.”

About: I am originally from Roanoke, Virginia. I grew up with a very loyal Springer Spaniel. My wife and I had a Rhodesian Ridgeback/Pitbull mix and a Black Lab/Rottweiler mix that lived to the happy old ages of 13 and 16 years old respectively. We lived and worked at a non-profit dog rescue in Eugene, Oregon where we cared for all kinds of dogs and puppies, from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. Some of these dogs were dealing with some pretty hefty allergy and/or anxiety projects. I am a young at heart, athletic and energetic college graduate. My wife and I have a holistic wellness practice where we receive human clients, as well as animals. All of my work with dogs includes this service when appropriate. We currently live in Kailua-Kona on the Big Island of Hawai'i. Pet care is a major part of my life. My wife and I have a pet care business offering regular weekly visits/walks, as well as overnight pet sitting. We care for our clients pets as we would care for our own, remembering that every individual is unique. The animals in our lives are treated with the same love and compassion as our friends and family members. We do not board at our home. We come to your home, where your pet is most comfortable, and we do our best to maintain their normal routine, minimalizing stress and anxiety.

About: Local to Big Island for the last 6 years, based in upper palisades but willing to travel up to 25 miles. I have 10+ years of animal experience - beginning with volunteering at my local humane society and animal shelters at the age of 16, to training service dogs for children with autism for National Service Dogs and later on becoming a certified dog trainer. While completing my undergraduate degree I worked at 2 different pet stores and dog walked & dog sat for cash on weekends. I have been house/dog sitting regularly for 4+ years for two local families - one of which with 3 elderly wiener dogs and the other with two high energy samoyed puppies turned adult pups. My undergraduate degree is in Animal Biology, and my graduate degree is in Animal Behaviour & Welfare - both completed at University of Guelph in Canada where I was born. Although my specialization was in African penguins, I have lots of love for fluffier animals too. I have worked in the veterinary industry for 3+ years as a vet assistant/technician, but since moving back to Hawaii I’ve moved into the tourism industry. I am comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and have experience working with dogs of all breeds and ages. I’m currently working part time in the tourism industry, so I have plenty of flexibility in my schedule to accommodate Rover care needs for my clients. With plenty of experience pet sitting and house sitting, I realize that every situation is going to be slightly different — I try to match what the pets are used to first and foremost, the walks pet owners tend to take their dogs on and do activities that are already a part of the pets routine. Though I never let dogs off leash while dog sitting, even if owners usually do; the possibility of losing a pet is not something I’m comfortable with, so better safe than sorry.

About: An animal lover since I was a little girl, I’ve happily cared for many pets and animals in my life, including horses, dogs, cats, birds, fish, guinea pigs, even a snake! I adore all animals and think we can learn a lot from them, but I have a soft spot for our furry four legged friends. Over the years I’ve cared for many neighbors’, friend’s and family pets while they’ve been away, whether house sitting or inviting their pets into my cozy home for a little staycation. I don’t have any pets currently and am dearly missing the company, so I’d love to care for yours! I’m a very cuddly, attentive, reliable and playful pet owner who will shower your pet with love and care, and send many photos and updates. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions, I’d be happy to chat and offer my time and care if you feel we may be a good match! I typically work full time Monday through Friday, with a few days working from home in between. Weekends are usually wide open, and I’d love to fill them with a furry friend! Fridays - Mondays are most flexible for me, but I’d love to play around with my schedule to suit your needs! I live in a residential, pet-friendly neighborhood that’s perfect for walks or runs. I have a yard but no fence, so will be extra careful when going outside. Lots of comfy rugs, pillows, and furniture inside for lounging :) happy to crate your dog if desired, or house sit if preferred. Very flexible!

“We received picture updates and the dogs looked good and happy. I would recommend Oksana to others and I will definitely keep her at the top of my list for sitters when needed.”

Tait D.
“Tait and his partner Amy have taken care of my two very high maintenance dogs for a while now: one is a 140 pound Great Dane who is still a big puppy and the other is a rescue pit that suffers from skin and food allergies. Despite being two adorable handfulls, I never have to worry about leaving my loves with them. They are great about giving my pit medicine, bi-weekly baths and dealing with her flare-ups like pros. They regularly update me with pictures and texts and bring my puppies on adventures hiking and to the dog park. Most importantly, they both LOVE animals - I love seeing their faces light up when they see my big goofs and my pups' tails go wild when they walk in the door. I have left my pups with these beautiful people for shorter trips (a few days) and much longer ones (5 weeks) and I never once worried about my dogs...I always come back to happy and healthy dogs. I am so grateful Tait and Amy have become a part of our cooky family!”

Marissa B.
“Excellent choice to care for your dog. Marissa’s love in life is animals. She studied animal biology at university, raised and professionally trained a guide dog for an autistic child and loves animals more than humans. She provides reliable service, excellent structure and training all with a 1000 watt smile. Truly she will love your dog! No concerns here.”

Helen A.
“Helen has watched my dog, Juneau, on several occasions and I feel confident in her abilities to keep my girl safe and happy. She sends me frequent updates and takes Juneau on little adventures, which I know she loves! Juneau comes home tired and ready to cuddle, a sure sign of a fulfilling dog day. We keep trying to convince her to move back to Washington, it’s so nice having a trustworthy dog sitter close by!”
