They took very good care of my dog and he came home happy and healthy. I think my dog really enjoyed playing with their two dogs. I would certainly use their services again.”

“Diane is absolutely fantastic! We have very chill older dog and then a younger dog who needs a lot of outside time. She effortless cared for our puppies and provided lovely updates while we were away! I can’t say enough good things - thank you Diane!”

About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember! I have experience with everything from horses and livestock, to birds, reptiles and fish. I am currently working very part time (3 hours a day) at a Kennel. I am usually always home by 11 am and am only away from home for a very short time. I have a large fenced yard, but will crate or kennel pets while unsupervised for a very short amount of time. I spend a majority of my time at home with my own pets and hanging out in the yard.
About: I have had both cats and dogs since I was in Kindergarten. Friends and neighbors have trusted me with their pet care needs for years. I have been on Rover for over 3 years now and am a trusted and reliable sitter. I oftentimes watch senior dogs, some with medical needs. I am very attuned to what animals need and give them tons of love and attention. It is a reciprocal relationship where we both appreciate the company and cuddles. When boarding dogs, my mom also loves dogs and is able to provide them with much love and attention when I need to be at work. She lives in the house and enjoys helping out with our furry guests. Your pet will most likely not be alone for more than an hour. I am very active and enjoy taking dogs on long walks. I always adhere to the pup's acitivity level and age. I have also cared for a neglected pitbull terrier in my old neighborhood. The dog was chained all the time and not cared for. I asked the owners if I could walk him daily. I have removed ticks and groomed him in an effort to provide some much needed attention and TLC. I have sought out medical care for the dog and helped to build a better shelter. I have also worked to educate the family on what it means to be a dog owner and treat the pup like a family member. Dogs just yearn to protect and be close to thier pack (owners). I still walk him to this day even though I no longer live in the neighborhood. The dog can be aggressive with other people and animals but is always affectionate towards me. I had to train the dog how to walk on a leash as it had not been walked in years. At first, the dog was a bit wild and did not know what to do. Now, he can heel and listens to commands. He even sits for some treats! I know how to use caution and practice safety measures when walking the dog so that others and the aggressive dog are kept safe and unharmed. I have a bleeding heart for animals. I am great with animals of all ages, personalities, and fitness levels! I am a social worker and love to give pets as much attention as possible! I am sensitive to their needs and always make sure your pet is comfortable. I treat them as one of my own. I am available to dog-sit/ house-sit or board most dogs as long as they are house trained.
About: I grew up on a farm with dogs and cats and horses and birds. I love animals and have trained many dogs throughout my life. I have a big fenced in yard and my 14 year old dog just passed away, crushing my soul. Until I ever feel ok again to get another dog, I thought I could love someone else’s dog while helping them out! I work from home and only leave the house for errands here and there. I spend the majority of my life on my property working and tinkering around. I have a big fenced in yard and no other dog currently on property. I do have a cat wandering around. I can continue to crate train and love on them all day.

I can’t wait to meet you and your pup! 🐾 I work remotely most of the time during the week, so I am always able to take a break in the day to walk someones pets or drop in and feed the animals. I would not have clients pepsin my own home, I would care for the clients animals as if they were my own and treat the house with respect. I would always make sure I am meeting the animals needs.

About: Aloha! I'm Shanon, a naturopathic physician who loves to take care of pets in people's homes. I began caring for my neighbor's cat when I was 10 years old, graduating to dog care in my teens. Since then I have done pet sits in many states and countries, seeing some pets through their lifetimes. My clients have included dogs, cats, bunnies, tortoises, snails, fish and birds. I have also cared for chickens and horses and am willing to look after small farm animals such as goats and sheep. If requested, I take care of gardens/plants, mail/packages and any other issues that may arise while you are gone. Want local or distance references? There are many. Please ask for them! I look forward to hearing from you. Aloha, Shanon Much of my work is online so that I can spend the maximum amount of time with your furry, feathered and scaled friends - I aim to be at home 75% of the time. About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, small animals, and hoofed animals, and my experience extends far beyond pet ownership. I hold bachelor’s degrees in biology, psychology, and anthropology. My studies in animal behavior, physiology, and research help me better understand animal body language, behavior, and individual needs. Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide variety of species, including exotic hoofstock and birds in a zoological setting, as well as pigs, goats, and birds through wildlife rescue and animal care work. I also volunteered in an animal shelter environment for approximately three years, where I handled and photographed thousands of dogs to help them find loving homes. Through that experience, I became comfortable working with dogs of all sizes, ages, temperaments, and energy levels. I have experience administering medications and genuinely enjoy caring for senior pets who may need a little extra patience and attention. I’m also passionate about exercise and an active lifestyle and am happy to provide outdoor walks and enrichment for energetic pets. In addition to my animal background, I hold a master’s degree in counseling, which has strengthened my communication skills, patience, and ability to remain calm and attentive in a variety of situations. Whether your pet is outgoing, shy, energetic, or senior, my goal is to provide reliable, compassionate care tailored to their individual personality and routine so both you and your pet feel comfortable and at ease. I’m a small business owner and public school teacher, which gives me a structured yet flexible schedule that works well for pet care. I generally have the most availability on weekends, school holidays, and breaks—especially during the summer months—when I can provide extended, consistent care and house sitting. During the school year, I’m typically available in the mornings and evenings on weekdays, with greater flexibility on weekends. I’m always happy to discuss specific dates and needs to see what works best for your pet’s routine. I value consistency, communication, and reliability so that pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for, and owners can enjoy peace of mind while they’re away. I provide pet care in my clients’ homes, where I focus on maintaining each pet’s normal routine in the environment where they feel most comfortable. I follow all care instructions closely and make sure feeding, walks, medication, and daily routines are completed on time and as directed. I treat every home with a high level of respect and care, keeping spaces clean, organized, and exactly as I found them. I’m mindful of both the pet’s needs and the owner’s home, and I prioritize reliability, safety, and consistency in every visit or stay. I also believe clear communication is essential, so I provide updates as needed to give owners peace of mind while they’re away.

About: I have had many special bonds with many kinds of animals & I’ve always given them the love & kindness ALL animals deserve. I love training puppies to become the best doggie they can be! When my Jude was a puppy, I used “tricks-for-treats” method using hand signals & now that Jude lost her hearing she knows her commands only by my hand signals! I have taken care of a handful of elderly dogs and cats whom I know felt very safe and loved my company so much. Whenever I’m with any animal I always feel like I’m making an impact in their life and I shine my light on their beautiful hearts every time. They are my world 🌎 ❤️❤️❤️ Currently, I am open available anytime, day or night, rain or shine! Even last minute I will be available. My doggie approved house is filled with dog beds of all sizes, and dog crates if that’s what they like, & hardwood floor for cooling off. My yard is fenced in and surrounded by a forest of trees. Plenty of play toys and green grass for sunbaths! This is my passion…… I eat, sleep, & take care for animals. I’m very grateful for any furry friend to come into my life. Even if it’s just for a day ❤️ When I’m not busy with pets, I am the voice for the voiceless...I am a very active animal rights activist, I am a member of the Dominion action movement, I am very very passionate about all animals. My dream is to have my own animal sanctuary where every animal will love their life free just as our pets do. I will also find homes for homeless/abused/abandoned animals. My house is dog approved. I have a lot of toys and doggy beds & In my breezeway I have a dog ramp for elderly or injured dogs to use to get into my house.
About: From having a pet dog, to dogsitting and catsitting countless times throughout my life, I’ve learned how to meet the needs of each animal- from puppies & kittens to the elderly of all different shapes and sizes! It’s important to me to make sure they’re getting enough love and care throughout the day. I believe taking care of a pet’s emotional needs is just as important as meeting them physically, so I do my best to make sure they’re staying happy and comfortable while they await the arrival of their parents later on :) My week availability is very open as I’m in between jobs, so I have a lot of free time to dedicate to pet lovin’ on Mondays-Fridays, especially between 9 am to 7 pm. I respect the space and property of others, so I do my best to take care of your pet in whatever way you see best fit, and in a way that respects the home I’m coming into.
“Aaliyah was amazing with my pup! I had a last minute schedule change, and she came through and saved the day! We were able to book two walks with her and I know my puppy absolutely loved her because he looked so happy in the photos she so kindly sent over. I also appreciated the detailed summary of the walk in the Rover card, it put me at ease to know my puppy was in good hands. I would absolutely recommend her for your fur baby’s needs, and we will definitely be booking her again soon!”

About: I've had a deep love for animals for as long as I can remember. Since I was 13, I’ve been watching pets for family and friends simply because it brought me joy. By 16, once I could drive, I started offering my services to others. I have experience caring for a wide range of animals, including senior dogs, puppies, birds, cats, kittens, and even farm animals! I'm always respectful of your home and happy to care for your garden or plants while you're away. If your pet stays with me, please note that I have a small, senior female dog named Peanut. I also live with my mother, brother, and boyfriend, who all share my love for animals and will likely want to shower your pet with affection too! You can expect plenty of updates and photos (I want those pictures as much as you do!) I also have some experience in dog training, having taken several courses, and can assist with behavioral training if needed. While I can't guarantee a drastic change, I love practicing these techniques. Working from home gives me a flexible schedule, so I’m excited to get to know your adorable animals and provide them with the best care possible! I work from home on various online projects, which gives me the flexibility to provide attentive care for your pets. Watching your dogs brings me joy and keeps me balanced! When I care for pets in your home, I prioritize maintaining their regular routines to ensure they feel secure and comfortable. I provide plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise, always following your specific instructions. I do not have a fenced in yard, but am happy to stay outside with your pup if needed! I’m diligent about home security, making sure doors and gates are securely closed. I also keep a close eye on your pets’ behavior and health, addressing any concerns promptly. Trust is essential, so I maintain open communication with you, providing regular updates and photos. This transparency helps build a strong bond of trust and ensures you have peace of mind while you’re away.

“Chelsea and her boyfriend, Josh, really helped me out when I was in a tight spot. They are communicative, reliable, and were available on short notice. They took very good care of my dog and he came home happy and healthy. I think my dog really enjoyed playing with their two dogs. I would certainly use their services again.”
