About: I'm a 43-year-old woman who is a full-time pet care and home care provider. About 10 years ago I made the decision to leave professional kitchens in search of a more fulfilling lifestyle. I chose to follow my heart and my dreams of traveling the world. I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, a Professional Culinary Degree from NYC and a TEFL certification from Bangkok. I set up my life to be able to go anywhere and do anything! I have been traveling full-time for the last 10 years as a pet sitter, but have over 20 years of experience as a pet sitter and dog walker. I have recently done long-term sits in Ecuador, Peru, Mexico, and Maui. I have an enormous amount of pet care experience. It ranges from dogs and cats to tropical birds and even a few axolotls! Even if you, as the dog owner, have them off of a lead, I will keep them on a lead because of other unknown dog interactions and it is my utmost responsibility to make sure your animals are safe and unharmed in my care.

About: I have been house sitting dogs and cats since 2015. I hold a degree in zoology with a concentration in animal behavior. I have a vet tech background here on Maui and have cared for hundreds of pets. I have a strong intuition when it comes to caring for animals and do my best to cater to each individual's needs. I am trustworthy, understanding, considerate, and a hard worker. I am also a very good communicator. For Cats: I started loving cats when I volunteered as a Cat Comforter at my local humane society growing up! I have pet sat for many wonderful cats over the years and used to work as a vet tech here on Maui. I pay very close attention to a cat's behaviors, always monitoring their health, to fully understand what they want and need! They are truly interesting and incredible beings and I tried to cater to every individual's comfort level. My hours of availability vary week to week but I will absolutely prioritize clients, their pets, and their needs to the best of my abilities! Not currently providing home services but will happily do drop in visits or house sit to make sure your pet is comfortable while you are away. About: My name is Emiko, I’ve been living on Maui for awhile now but new to Rover. I have a spaniel mix pup named Zephyr (after the wind in The Odyssey bc he runs like the wind), and grew up with both dogs and cats my whole life. I love animals and the healing energies they bring in their personalities and just love how funny they are. Getting a dog has been one of the most healing things in my life, he is literally my best friend, baby and side kick and I understand finding someone who will take the upmost care for your pet is a crucial decision. About: As a lifelong pet owner, I have looked after many diverse pets for friends, family, and clients on a regular basis for as long as I can remember. I pride myself on being responsible and adherent to your rules and preferences. I will treat your pets like family! I am not new to pet-sitting, but I am very new to Rover! I am a substitute teacher, so my best availability is on weekends, but I am happy to arrange services for after school as well. Notes on housesitting: if your dog cannot go 6-7 hours without a potty break while I am in school, you would need to hire an additional dog walker for either late morning or noon(ish). I can specify in advance which days I would be teaching! While I cannot bring your pets into my own home space or car, I am happy to come to you and treat your home space with the utmost respect. If you would like me to take your pet for outings during housesitting services, it would need to be in one of your own vehicles.

Natalie adhered to all of my many requests and suggestions about how to best handle Lana as well she went above and beyond by watering all of my plants (both indoor and outdoor) AND I returned to a house cleaner than I had left it!! Not to mention she texted with photos, videos, and updates daily to put my mind at ease. It was such an Incredible experience that I immediately booked her again. About: I’ve had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, and they’ve always held a special place in my heart. When I was six, our family dog passed away, and before my parents were ready for another, I would visit our neighbors every day just to play fetch with their German Shepherd. From that young age, I knew I’d always want dogs in my life. In college, I worked full-time at a dog boarding and daycare facility, caring for multiple dogs at once—sometimes up to 20 in the yard during playtime! My responsibilities included feeding, administering medications, and ensuring each dog felt happy and safe. It was a challenging job, but one I truly loved. Most recently, I shared 12 wonderful years with my dog, Ana, who traveled the world with me until she became ill. Losing her was incredibly hard, and I miss the joy of having a dog around every day. That’s why I’ve reactivated my Rover account—to share my love, care, and experience with dogs in my community once again. I work full-time at the hospital, now on a 4-day schedule, which means I have more time for pet care! I’m available for house sitting every night, as long as I’m within a reasonable distance from work. While caring for your dogs, I can stay at your home to keep them comfortable—or take them out for fresh air and fun at the beach. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I follow their normal routines as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and happy. I make sure they have fresh food and water, regular potty breaks, and plenty of love and attention. I enjoy engaging pets with playtime, walks, or quiet cuddle time—whatever they enjoy most. If requested, I can also take dogs to the beach or on outings for fresh air and exercise.
