About: Hi! I’m Rae! Ever since my dad handed me my first Boston Terrier when I was a little girl, my heart has belonged to the animals. I was lucky enough to grow up in a household with pets, and as an adult I couldn’t imagine not having pets. I also recognize that even though we wish we could take our furbabies everywhere, it’s just not a reality for a lot of us. So, I’m happy to be able to ease the worry of wanting or needing to travel, work, etc by offering to take care of your babies while you’re away. I’ve also traveled to help take care of pets while they’re pawrents were away, tending to both their pets and home. Currently I have a lot of open availability. I prefer to be able to come to your house as I have two pups and three kitties in my home, and I know a pet is usually more comfortable in their own environment. The less that has to change for pets, the better so they don’t have to experience the stress of a new place or dog boarding. So I’m happy to provide potty breaks, walkies, play time, and in home sitting if needed. With direction from you, I’m happy to follow guidelines that you have set up for your pets in your home from their daily routine, to walks etc.

About: For my kindergarten career day I showed up as a vet. After that, I became the kid in the house that would constantly be "adopting" new animals. It goes without saying that I've always been an animal lover. This led me to study and graduate with a bachelors in animal science and veterinary studies. Throughout my bachelors I was a foster parent for my university's pre veterinary and pet rescue group. During this time I fostered dozens of pets (cats and dogs). After graduating I developed an entered in conservation and my career path shifted to the study of wildlife conservation. However I worked for 3 years as a veterinary technician while I continued to pursue my career in conservation. Two of these years were at a pet veterinary clinic and one year was as a wildlife rehabilitation of migratory birds. Also worked at Maui Humane Society as an Enrichment and Behavioral Technician. Right now I have beautiful 3 year old tabby cat who is not a queen but a "Khaleesi" and her little sister Arya. However I thought I'd share the love since they’re so spoiled. I know that with my academic and professional experience I'm more than prepared but as a pet parent myself and a veterinary technician I understand that no matter how safe they are, we still worry. So why choose me? My intention is to be someone relatable, dependable and approachable to my clients. The goal is to make you as a pet parent and your pet as comfortable as possible. At my location your pet will be under my care and sometimes interact with my partner who is also a veterinary technician. My 3 year old female cat (Khaleesi) lives with me on and off. She's and inside cat that goes on walks, has outside monitored time and is very pampered overall. All vaccines up to date, takes flea prevention monthly and is spayed. Whether you're open to our pets playing together and/or sharing space is up to you. Khaleesi is used to other pets both dogs and cats. They can be separated and sometimes will be regardless since just like people some animals just aren't meant to get along. All of these things will be discussed before on you agreeing on my services. The point is for you to feel comfortable.

About: I’ve spent my life around dogs, from raising my own senior pup to pet-sitting for friends and neighbors. I’m comfortable with everything from high-energy dogs to gentle senior care, including administering oral medications. I also use a patient training method for dogs that pull on the leash, and I always keep things clean—whether that's wiping muddy paws or keeping their play area tidy! My schedule is highly flexible! I own two dogs of my own currently a 3 year old hunting dog mix rescue and a 11 year old chihuahua/pomeranian mix and a rescue cat who are the light of my world and fur children! I've trained and raised all my animals I’ve owned (one being an exceptionally well behaved Service Dog). have worked at an animal hospital so administrating medication, messy clean ups, and baths are no problem for me. I have also worked in a grooming department, as an equestrian Care taker and competitor, and a doggy day care. I am comfortable with all animals of all species and sizes.
