About: From the time I was born, I always had an animal in the household. My love for taking care of my four legged fuzzy friends continued into high school, when I started volunteering at Assistance Dogs of Hawaii. One thing I learned from my experience volunteering is that I enjoy making a positive impact on pet and owner relationships. I’m currently working part time so I will have down time that I can spend caring for your animals. I am also taking a few online classes which makes my day to day very flexible! About: I am also on the wag app. I volunteer at the local animal shelter on Maui. My service radius includes Wailuku, Kahului, and Waikapu. Mary Monday- Wednesday after the week of July 20th. I work Thursday-Sunday at my main job by kaahumanu mall on the island of Maui in the year 2025. I have a fenced yard. I double check the collars before starting to walk dogs on the island of Maui in central Maui Areas 2025.

About: What sets me apart as a sitter is a lifetime of hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, temperaments, and needs. I grew up with boxer dogs starting at age five, which gave me a strong foundation in understanding breed traits, energy levels, and behavior. As an adult, I adopted a middle-aged rescue Plott Hound–Boxer mix. Caring for him into his senior years—especially managing arthritis while still honoring his need for daily walks—gave me extensive experience with senior care, mobility limitations, and compassionate end-of-life support. I currently have a one-year-old Golden Retriever–Australian Shepherd puppy, so I am very comfortable with high-energy dogs, consistent exercise routines, and reinforcing good behavior through activity and structure. I also regularly care for my parents’ senior boxer for extended periods during the winter months. She requires a specialized Freshpet diet that must be prepared fresh and cut into small pieces for each meal, so I’m very attentive to detailed feeding routines and special dietary needs. Pet care fits really naturally into our routine. I work from home some days during the week, and my boyfriend, Brad, is usually home every day, so someone is almost always around. We’re used to building walks, feeding, playtime, and downtime into our days, and it’s all very consistent for Livie. She’s not left alone for long stretches, and we’re very attentive to her needs throughout the day. I care for pets based on each client’s preferences and the pet’s individual needs, always prioritizing safety, consistency, and comfort. I closely follow any routines already in place, including feeding times, exercise schedules, and medication or special care instructions, because I believe sticking to a familiar schedule helps pets feel secure and relaxed. For safety reasons, I prefer to keep dogs on leashes or long leads unless they are in a fully secure, fenced area that they cannot get over or out of. I do not allow cats outdoors, as I believe indoor-only care is the safest option. Exercise is important to me, and I tailor activity levels to each dog’s age, health, and energy level—whether that’s relaxed walks, playtime, or longer adventures for more active dogs.

About: I’ve had two amazing dogs and cats in my lifetime, volunteered at an animal shelter since I was 13, and researched canine cognition at Duke University! I was also prevet in college, worked with many dogs and pups, and have experience training service puppies. I have most weekends off with occasional weekdays off from my full time job. About: I grew up with a dog and have watched many different types of dogs since I was a teenager. I routinely walk and feed my roommates dogs when they are at work. Walking dogs is a great way for me to get daily exercise too. I’m only working part time so I am available throughout the week and have a very flexible schedule right now. Especially in the afternoon and at night There is a fenced in backyard the dog can play in. There are also two other friendly dogs in the downstairs unit who love to play.
