“My wife and I had to leave the country over the holiday break (Christmas and New year's) and we desperately needed to find someone to look after our two cats. Personally never done Rover but I have to say that Michelle proved to us that it is very trustworthy. She did a great job looking after our two cats, updating us after each visit. Our cats are very shy but she was super patient with them. I felt totally comfortable with Michelle and will definitely recommend her to anyone.”

About: I've had large breed dogs my entire life and volunteer regularly at shelters to help.socialize the animals to be more adoptable. My last rottie had leukemia and I cared for her throughout chemotherapy so have experience with many related health challenges. I recently exited my corporate career after 15 years of travel and computer work. I'm taking a break to recalibrate and spend more time outdoors being active. I have a fenced back yard and several crates that can be used if needed. My dog is very friendly and loves new friends to play with anyone- human or animal- that is open to play.

“Daniela is fantastic. She took such great care of our kitties. We have 3 cats, all with different foods and needs, and she handled it perfectly. Highly recommend Daniela”

“I can't thank Jana enough. The confidence and peace I was able to have that Chompers was in good hands. I am so grateful for her. Can't recommend highly enough and not enough stars available for the high rating she deserves.”

“Peggy is an angel. This was my first time ever leaving my three cats behind, and I was so nervous. Peggy was wonderful with them. Not only was she very professional and thorough, she was so sweet and compassionate to my kitties. She sent us daily photos and updates on the cats. She even took out our trash that we accidentally forgot to take out before we left. If I ever need to travel again, I will 100% be using Peggy. And you should too.”

“laura is wonderful and always treats our cat with care. She is also very communicative and accommodating. thank you!”

“Thank you Lizet for taking care of our 5 dogs on such short notice and being flexible to accommodate our needs. Trustworthy and dependable!”

About: I’ve loved animals my entire life and have experience caring for both cats and dogs of all sizes and breeds. From playful puppies to senior pets needing extra attention, I provide patient, loving care tailored to each animal’s unique needs. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding, administering medication, or just giving them some extra love while you’re away—I treat every pet like family. What sets me apart is my calm, reliable nature and ability to connect with animals quickly, making them feel safe and cared for in any situation. As a member of the Editors Guild (IATSE Local 700), I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide attentive and consistent care for your pets throughout the day. My schedule allows for regular walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins—making sure your furry friends are never left feeling alone or overlooked. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in yours, I create a calm, loving environment where animals feel safe and cared for. I follow your pet’s routine closely—feeding, walking, administering medication, and giving them the attention they need to feel secure. Because I work from home as a member of the Editors Guild (IATSE Local 700), I’m able to offer flexible, consistent care throughout the day. I make sure each pet gets plenty of play, cuddles, and supervision, whether I’m hosting them or visiting them in their own familiar space.

About: I am a huge animal lover. I grew up around dogs and have pet sat for many friends and family. I also have spent the last 8 years around cats as well: One of my dogs had Addisons disease so being around sick and emotional dogs is not a problem for me. I can also administer oral medication. I love being around and caring for animals. I am willing to work hard and make sure your dog is taken care of as if they were a part of my own family. I love playing fetch and just running around playing with dogs. I have no problem also spending my time with puppies in fact I would greatly enjoy it. I would also love to take your dog for walks even in cold weather. If you have a cat I would enjoy spending time playing with them and I am willing and able to scoop, change, and sweep up cat litter as this is something I do on a daily basis for my own cat Leo. I hope you will consider me. I am currently a student so as long as I am not in class I am free to check on your pets. Most of my classes are afternoon and evening but there are sometimes breaks in between classes as well. I am also completely free on weekends. I would make sure to let your dog out or take them for a walk so they go potty. I would make sure they are fed and just generally spend time with them brushing, playing, or just petting. If the pet is a cat I would make sure to check and scoop the litter and make sure they have food and of course spend some time with them brushing or playing.

About: I have been caring for pets (dogs and cats) since I was 5 years old and have always been passionate about researching and finding effective natural solutions to support pet health. I also have lots of senior dog care experience, and am comfortable administering most meds that don't involve needles. My beloved senior dog with special needs (lost use of hind legs among other things) recently passed away and I miss him but am so thankful for the time we had. I learned a lot about using natural remedies to support senior dog health from him and also learned to walk him with support for his hind end. I am currently able to provide drop in visits for pets in the Mountain Glen I community in Sylmar at this time. If you live in this community and need help caring for your family pet, please reach out so we can arrange a time to meet. Happy to help with dogs, cats and possibly other kinds of pets. I can board too, but only for pets I know and have worked with previously. I always look for and implement practices that will create a safe, peaceful, healthy and nurturing environment for pets in my home and only board pets from the same home at the same time. Boarding and day-care are only available for pets I know and have worked with previously.

About: I’ve cared for cats and dogs of all ages, from kittens and puppies to seniors. I love all animals, and use a positive reinforcement training model for all training interactions. I specifically trained a yellow lab named Miel from puppy to adult and had success with training to such an extent that she is able to be off leash during private beach outings. I’m a full time student but I would love to spend time with your pets during the weekend or off hours (evenings). I would prefer a set schedule but if needed I can do last minute appointments. I will make sure your pet is as safe as can be! I will always make sure that there are no safety hazards for the pet(s) in the house during the visit. I will also always wear an N95 mask while around your pet, indoors and outdoors. I want to protect them from getting sick with anything!

“Holly S. is wonderful. She is prompt, responsive, and trustworthy. Most importantly, she truly cared about our old kitty who is timid, deaf, and set in her ways. The difficulty in going anywhere for any length of time is leaving our girl behind. Holly provided detailed updates, including our girl's habits & personality, that gave us a clear understanding of her well-being while we were gone. (This made it easy for us to fully enjoy our time away.) We will definitely ask Holly the next time we need a sitter.♡”

She sent great updates and her home was comfortable for my boy and for her personal cats. My boy was happy to come home but was more than okay sticking around with Elizabeth.”

Dylan S.
“Dylan's looked after our pets quite a few times. We have a dog, a puppy and 2 cats, and they're all always together. So you can imagine how hectics can get sometimes. Even through all of that, Dylan's proven himself again and again that he's a very capable care giver. His first exposure was only to the cats, and they're fairly self sufficient – except the bathing part. And he was nice enough to bathe them (like we'd asked him to do, IF he could get them to). We come back, lo and behold, my then-babies were cleaned up. And the boy had actually taken well after him, which was an added bonus. The dog, Bongo, doesn't like strangers and somehow is ok enough to not bark at Dylan - which says a lot because I get barked at every so often myself. And he's the FAMILY DOG. The puppy, while a little derpy, loves people and Dylan was no exception. We were on vacation for a while and left all 4 pets with him over Halloween. Dylan took really good care of them and even kept up with the physical requirements of having to take the dogs out to parks, rather than simply a small walk around the block. Couldn't have asked for a better pet caretaker, he's happy to help out with the animals, plays with them all the time and actually gives extra attention to smaller/niche requirements when asked.”

I truly recommend her as a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.”
