“This was our first time using Rover for our German Shepard, Axel and Buddy’s Retreat could not have made the experience more perfect! Christine was warm, thorough, and welcoming at our meet and greet. Easing any of our concerns and giving us a run through of a typical day. Drop off was quick and easy- Axel immediately felt at home! The updates were frequent with lots of happy puppy pictures from playing with the other dogs, numerous games of ball and snuggling in his bed. Our pup can even be a finicky eater and they were kind to try different treats to entice him to eat. Upon pickup Axel was the most calm I’ve ever see him after a time away from us. “Hector was the best taking care of my cat! He was extremely responsible and careful and followed all my instructions to take care of Kitty. I had to travel to my home country for a couple of weeks, and having Hector around made me feel comfortable. He was super responsive to the texts and always made sure he posted an update for me for every visit. He kept my place clean, brought in any packages that were outside of my apartment and took care of everything I asked him to do. I could also see how well he treated Kitty, and how he played with her and pet her. My cat really adores him. He was also super polite with me and it was a pleasure dealing with him. About: I have taken care of dog for 6 years now and I have a dog myself. She's a small size Havanese mix, 2.5 years old. I have a flexible schedule, and available to keep your dog company with my little dog. The dog can be inside or in the backyard. I have a house with a big fenced back yard, and a small friendly dog. About: I’ve had several dogs throughout my life and will probably be getting another one or two within the next year. My main option on here is dog boarding but, depending on the dog boarding schedule, I or somebody else on my team could also be open to do drop ins, house sitting, or walks, especially for those who have already used our boarding services. Please ask about these additional services after a confirmed boarding session. I’m in the middle of taking a few years off from teaching high school because A) Who couldn’t use a break from that? and B) I am focusing on building up a short-term rental business (Airbnb mostly). As an Airbnb host I spend a lot of time at home and have found that one of my favorite things to do is play with dogs in the yard (especially, when there’s more than one of them here at the same time!) and take them on trips to the park. I love dogs and am very reliable, trustworthy, and flexible. I live in a house with a fenced yard and all of the instructions you leave will be followed to keep your little buddy happy & safe! I am home most of the day and when I do leave it's usually only for an hour or two at a time. Most of what I do at home (working on a computer, household chores, yard work) I do in the presence of whatever dogs happen to be staying at that time. One limitation that I do try to stick to is to avoid scheduling drop-offs or pickups on Sundays before 10:00 am. Unfortunately, Rover doesn't give me the option to block off those times without blocking out the entire day so adding this note here is the only way to give you a heads up (hopefully, you read this before booking). I have a fenced yard and usually board 2 or 3 dogs at a time so that they have playmates. If ever I leave the house, dogs are left inside. Dogs that stay here must be up to date on shots as well as on a flea-prevention medication.

I enjoy playing with them and giving them belly rubs and taking them for walks. I’m currently on summer breaks and would like to spend time caring for pets when their loved ones are away. Christine was warm, thorough, and welcoming at our meet and greet. Easing any of our concerns and giving us a run through of a typical day. Drop off was quick and easy- Axel immediately felt at home! The updates were frequent with lots of happy puppy pictures from playing with the other dogs, numerous games of ball and snuggling in his bed.
