About: DOG LOVER! I was born to make dogs happy. We have always grown up with a dog in our home, unfortunately I am without a dog at the moment, so I have the urge to host now! I personally trained our own dog by reading books on dog training and dog psychology. I am currently working online, so I will be home to tend to your loved ones. We walk at least once a day for 45 min. - 1 hour. Dog park trips included if they enjoy socializing with others. No tap water - filtered water only! I use an apple airtag to track dogs who are known escape artist or those that just want the extra security. Dogs will have access to the indoors and outdoors. Our home is located in the NE heights and I have a fence in backyard with night vision cameras and motion lights for security purposes. Your pets will be treated as our own and may join us on outings such as old town, farmers markets, small day trips, etc. We work from home, that means we take care of your dog during the day. Morning: feeding, walking. Day time: walking. Evening: feeding, walking, playing, dog parks. If you want your dog to be cleaned upon your arrival then you can pay additional fee for cleaning in grooming. Our backyard is a medium size, completely enclosed. No other dogs are around. Also, we have security cameras so we can monitor them in the house if we are out.

“Elliot has been a joy! They are so kind and patient with our sweet old lady who has been quite anxious from a recent move. It’s been a huge relief knowing we’ve found someone who can give our girl some love and attention on our long days at work.”

“My dog gets better at walking every time they take her out. She and I are both learning new tricks to keep her from pulling and being overly reactive. I'm so happy when I take her for a walk and she actually behaves!”

About: Hi! I'm an all-around animal person! I'm a Registered Veterinary Technician with extensive experience caring for animals of all types! I've been a pet sitter for 15 years, including caring for senior animals. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing that your pet is happy and safe while you are away! I love working with all animals, but I'm especially good with helping shy-er, more cautious animals gain confidence. I'm also great with elderly or special needs pets who require a little extra care and assistance, and with higher energy pets who may need some help self-regulating their excitement or anxiety. I grew up with dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, and other pocket pets. Currently, I have 2 parrots. Professionally, I've worked at accredited zoos in Colorado, Kansas, Texas, and Louisiana, as well as a wolf sanctuary in New Mexico, so I also have experience working with and caring for exotic animals like birds and reptiles. As you can see, animals are my passion! My schedule is flexible, so I'm able to give your pet all the attention they could want! I'm available for overnight sitting, drop-in visits throughout the day, and walks. I have years of experience pet sitting and am happy to provide references. I have reliable transportation, so I'm able to travel all over the Albuquerque area.

About: Over the years I have taken care of many dogs and cats, a few lizards, and a variety of birds. I grew up with cats and dogs, they have been part of my entire life and they always will be. I am actively learning more about dog training and in the near future plan to become certified in pet first aid and CPR. When time allows, I volunteer for dog walking at the shelter and I have also fostered a few dogs. I would love to meet your pet and I would be happy to help out with them! I currently work very part time so my schedule is pretty open! I would be happy to take your pup(s) for a walk or drop in to visit and care for your pet! Safety is of utmost importance! If I am caring for your pets in the home, all guidelines provided by you will be followed. While on dog walks, I am alert to our environment and potential safety issues, and take appropriate preventative measures to avoid problems (for example, crossing the street or stepping aside to avoid interaction with other unknown dogs).

“Kristen did amazingly while our dog walker was busy on vacation. She was communicative, punctual, and caring towards our boy! She was flexible with me and very accommodating about scheduling. I would recommend Kirsten for anyone looking for a responsible and compassionate walker!”
