“1st-time using a service like "Rover." I will NEVER take our dog to a Boarding Facility IF I don't have to. Our dog is accustomed to a tranquil environment and was never kenneled. Imagine being in a loud facility, with barking dogs and caged for days (walking breaks provided, but, no freedom to roam.) I found Rover after boarding our dog 3 times. My 1st experience and I'm thrilled I did. You can filter to sitters who take 1 dog at a time, no children, etc. Ok about Amy: What a GEM! Communicative, Clean, genuinely Kind, and Professional. My husband and I live close to Amy (another plus,) but even if we moved 1 hour away we would still rebook with Amy as long as she's available. Upon pick-up our dog ran to us, but as we recapped with Amy and her husband our dog kept going to them too. I told her I was unsure if he would be happy to see us because he is living his best life at "Aunt Amy's" lol. I'm a "non-worrier," however, I didn't realize how much Amy's' consistent checked-in with photos and a couple of videos helped put my mind at ease, my soul at peace, and allowed me to fully enjoy my honeymoon without thinking too much about our dogs' wellbeing. Jennifer took wonderful care of my 15-year-old dog for four days. When I picked her up, she was happy, relaxed, and clearly well loved. It's always nerve-wracking leaving a senior dog in someone else's care, but Jennifer made the experience completely stress-free. I would definitely use her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter.
Everything was great! I got feedback and pictures of my pups while out of town. Was told they were both doing fine, and getting along with the other dogs. Sarah also dropped my dogs off at my house before I got back in town which was such a great help! We got in late so I was able to see them when I got home.
Jennifer was absolutely amazing. She took great care of my 4-pound chiweenie, Rocko, and from the moment she took him, I could immediately tell she truly loves animals. Rocko seemed happy and comfortable right away, which gave me peace of mind. Throughout his stay, she kept me updated and even sent a picture, which I really appreciated. When I returned, Rocko was ready to go and clearly had a great time. It was obvious he enjoyed his stay. I will definitely be using her again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter. Her family was also wonderful and made Rocko feel very welcome.
As always, Sterling did a fantastic job with Summer. She even made sure there was background noise playing during NYE so Summer didn't get nervous about the fireworks. Summer is thoroughly exhausted from playing outside, running around, exploring Sterling’s backyard, and from the walks. I know she loves going to Sterling’s house.
