“1st-time using a service like "Rover." I will NEVER take our dog to a Boarding Facility IF I don't have to. Our dog is accustomed to a tranquil environment and was never kenneled. Imagine being in a loud facility, with barking dogs and caged for days (walking breaks provided, but, no freedom to roam.) I found Rover after boarding our dog 3 times. My 1st experience and I'm thrilled I did. You can filter to sitters who take 1 dog at a time, no children, etc. Ok about Amy: What a GEM! Communicative, Clean, genuinely Kind, and Professional. My husband and I live close to Amy (another plus,) but even if we moved 1 hour away we would still rebook with Amy as long as she's available. Upon pick-up our dog ran to us, but as we recapped with Amy and her husband our dog kept going to them too. I told her I was unsure if he would be happy to see us because he is living his best life at "Aunt Amy's" lol. I'm a "non-worrier," however, I didn't realize how much Amy's' consistent checked-in with photos and a couple of videos helped put my mind at ease, my soul at peace, and allowed me to fully enjoy my honeymoon without thinking too much about our dogs' wellbeing. About: I have taken care of pets since I was a very young girl. I now have my own family and I still love animals of all kinds and have a special love for dogs. I have had dogs from puppies up until their senior years and have had experience caring for the needs of all ages. We love to travel also and understand wanting to know your fur babies are well taken care of and loved while you are away! We have a fenced in backyard with grass, trees, and access from their own dog door! Plenty of room to run, play, or enjoy the sunshine in. About: I have been the go to person to watch my friend's dogs throughout my 13 years in the military. Either it be a TDY, a Deployment or just for the weekend, I've taken care of dogs for my friend's whenever they need it. I no longer work from home so any dogs that I watch will be alone from approximately 7:00am - 2:30pm during the week. I now work in the office full time so any dogs that I watch will be alone/kenneled from 7:00am - 2:30pm during the week. In my home, I have two friendly cats who can either be kept separate in their own room or, if your cat is social and enjoys company, they would love to play and interact. I do not allow cats outside, so they will always be kept safely indoors. For dogs, we have a securely fenced yard for supervised play and exercise, along with plenty of attention, walks, and cuddle time. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their usual schedule, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions to help their pet feel relaxed and at home.
About: I love all of the pets!! My Husband and I have three cats and one small dog at our house and a fenced in backyard. My best friend is a vet so she gives me all the advice and tips on dogs and cats! I can cater to anything you prefer, if you have very high maintenance or chill pets. My dog gets along with other dogs but we can seperate her to a different part of the house with a dog gate if needed! Drop by care is fine or if you’re going on a trip, we would love to have your pup stay with us. They are in greaf hands, lots of backyard play and will be very spoiled! About: I’ve cared for different breeds of dogs since I was young. Our home has always had the joy of a pup in it, and I work remotely, so I’ll be home all day to care for your fur baby. I’ve worked with pups of all ages and many breeds. My husband, our 2 poodles, and I are ready to meet your pups! I work remotely, so I’m home typically all day, and if I do need to step out, my husband is home as well. We currently have two small poodles, and they are very friendly and have lots of energy, so your pup will be sure to have a blast! We have a large fenced backyard where your pup can play, and live in a safe community, where we can go on walks. In our home there are no hazards, and are ready to take care of your pup as our own.
About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was a little kid: starting at about 10 years old I pet set for my neighbors. I have watched, fed, and walked dogs of varying sizes and ages and have also fed and managed some cats. In my college town I have helped the Humane Society on occasion by taking a dog at a time to walk them and let them roam around and enjoy time outside the kennel. I am an animal lover and know how important it is for them to be cared for and loved! I’m currently working part time only 2 days a week as I am home for the summer so will have plenty of time to care for and play with your pets! I have a fenced in yard and a small dog who is super friendly and well loved. He is a grazer so doesn’t have designated food times but my previous dogs were fed twice a day. He gets morning walks every morning and sometimes extra ones in the evening.

“1st-time using a service like "Rover." I will NEVER take our dog to a Boarding Facility IF I don't have to. Our dog is accustomed to a tranquil environment and was never kenneled. Imagine being in a loud facility, with barking dogs and caged for days (walking breaks provided, but, no freedom to roam.) I found Rover after boarding our dog 3 times. My 1st experience and I'm thrilled I did. You can filter to sitters who take 1 dog at a time, no children, etc. Ok about Amy: What a GEM! Communicative, Clean, genuinely Kind, and Professional. My husband and I live close to Amy (another plus,) but even if we moved 1 hour away we would still rebook with Amy as long as she's available. Upon pick-up our dog ran to us, but as we recapped with Amy and her husband our dog kept going to them too. I told her I was unsure if he would be happy to see us because he is living his best life at "Aunt Amy's" lol. I'm a "non-worrier," however, I didn't realize how much Amy's' consistent checked-in with photos and a couple of videos helped put my mind at ease, my soul at peace, and allowed me to fully enjoy my honeymoon without thinking too much about our dogs' wellbeing.
