1. Dew G.
“Dew cared for my 5 ducks over the Christmas holiday for over a week, which involved feeding and moving the ducks between their locked coop in the morning and evening to their outdoor pen during the day. While I was gone, several states away, there was an issue with our water supply for the ducks for a day, and Dew was resourceful in making sure the ducks were watered. Due to low temperatures in the morning, the water could turn to ice overnight and needed to be melted - usually this could be done with water from my house, but there was emergency water work being done in my neighborhood while I was gone. We kept in good communication, and Dew brought hot water to our house to make sure the ducks could get water for the day. I appreciate that she went above and beyond!”

5. Hayley B.
“When I tell my doggy Gidget that we're going to see Hayley, she starts prancing and barking because she can't wait to see her. She even barks with impatience in the car because she can't wait to get there. And once GIdget sees Hayley, she gives her lots of kisses. I know that Hayley will take excellent care of my Gidget so I never worry about leaving her with this warm and loving friend.”

11. Barbara F.

“Barbara was just great for Maddie. She made sure Maddie got plenty of relief breaks, especially on the very miserable days of rain, and Barbara’s home at the end of a no exit street meant Maddie was always safe. Rainy days were spent curled up on the sofa, and there were treats too. There were walks in the forest and by the river, which Maddie loves. Maddie clearly enjoyed her 3 days, enabling us to sight see in NYC without worry. Generously, Barbara dropped us at the rail station when she collected Maddie, and picked us up again. She was really flexible with my dates, which I couldn’t confirm until the last minute, and even then had to alter them. She was also friendly, chatty and warm, a pleasure to meet her.”

14. Alexa I.
About: Hi, I currently reside in Mahopac, NY and work from home. I’ve grown up with labs, making me very comfortable with larger dogs, as well as, caring for more than one dog at once. I have cared for dogs ranging from less than a year old to 14 plus years old. I enjoy playing, walking and brushing dogs of all sizes. I have a 2 year old Chihuahua mix that loves dogs of all sizes and breeds. I look forward to meeting new pups. I currently work full time from home. This gives me plenty of flexibility during the week days and weekend to care and walk your pet. We live in a single family home that has a fenced in dog run in the backyard allowing them plenty of space to run and play.

15. Staci B.

“First time using Rover, but have used other dogsitters before. Staci was very welcoming, kind, and confident in watching our elderly dachshund and all his little quirks. You can tell she has had plenty of experience, and I left for the day knowing our little nugget was in good hands. I look forward to the next time.”

16. Elizabeth K.
“I have known Liz for over 10 years now, she first started as my dog walker and that slowly changed.. she became family!! She is a honest person and very reliable and dependable. I highly recommend her. She is loving, caring and will take care of your pets as if they are her own. I have left my little one with her overnight many times and he’s always sad to leave her. Liz stayed at my home many times to watch my pup while I was on vacation. You will have no regrets hiring her!!”

17. Brenda C.

“This is the 8th time Skye stays with Brenda. Skye is always happy when she realiizes she is going to Brenda’s house, and comes home happy as well, and today also bathed. Brenda is always quick to answer and sweet. It is great to be able to count on her help when we need. Thanks again, Brenda”

18. Vijaya S.

“Vijaya was quick to respond, and answered my questions quickly. This was my first experience with Rover and am very pleased. V’s home is lovely and, being at the cul de sac at the end of a quiet street in a woodsy neighborhood, my dog had a great time on her walk and watching the squirrels on the back deck.”

19. Julia A.
“If you're looking for someone to take care of your fur baby as if they were their own, Julia is the perfect choice. She's watched, walked, and loved several fur babies in my family. My boy Bear once happily left with her when she offered to give me a break from dog mom duties--talk about a lifesaver. She's owned several dogs herself, so you'd be getting someone who will love your pet and understand its personal needs. No, seriously, JULIA IS THE CAT'S MEOW.”

20. Michael C.
