“I had a last minute request and Jomini responded almost immediately and saved the day. She asked questions to make sure my dog had the proper precautions to be outdoors at her place and checked with me about any specific schedule before drop off. She was super responsive and flexible with timing for drop off / pick up. She sent so many pictures of my dog and I could see he was having a great time!”

“Erika was wonderful! Highly recommend (and will to my friends as well). She was extremely responsive in preparation for our trip, and understanding of some special needs for our yellow lab. She sent pictures throughout, and was flexible when a winter storm messed with our plans (she stayed up late so that we could pick up our pooch). Thanks for taking such great care of our dog, and for being such a pleasure throughout this process, Erika!”

“Katharine was amazing! She sent detailed updates multiple times a day about what Duchess was up to, their daily adventures, how she was eating, and more — along with lots of photos. She was incredibly accommodating of Duchess’s anxiety and need for slow introductions/interactions. Duchess absolutely loved her and didn’t want to leave when I picked her up! Katharine is such a wonderful sitter and person, and I can’t wait for her to watch Duchess again. Thank you so much again!”

“Sonia and family were great with our Brisket! He had a blast on his vacation, they shared updates, and he made new friends. Very easy to deal with and addressing of his parents’ questions. Would book again.”

“Audrey was fantastic! One of our dogs had an ear infection while we traveled and Audrey had no problem with medication administration. Our flight was delayed by almost a full day and she was so understanding and very accommodating. Her communication was great and our dogs loved their time with her and we would definitely love to have her watch them again!”

“We only used Arsenii once so far but will definitely be going back. Oscar has a bit of separation anxiety but Arsenii's place provides a relaxed vibe and Oscar made himself right at home.”

“Barbara was a great communicator - she provided lots of updates on how my dog was doing. My dog had a really fun time while at her place and i could tell he was well taken care of. She also made me feel at ease leaving my dog with her and was really attentive to my dog’s individual needs and personality!”

“Natasha made us so at ease when watching our girl while we got married! She sent daily updates with pictures, and Scout came back like she was on vacation!”

“Arianne and her family took such great care of Luke. This is the second time Luke has stayed with them and once again Arianne was very patient with Luke, helped him adjust and always kept me informed as to how he was doing. She sent me daily pictures and was very quick to respond to all my messages. When I picked up Luke he was very calm and he looked well taken care of. You guys are awesome!”

“Zorra was well taken care of! They were able To accommodate a last minute booking and it was greatly appreciated. We will defiantly consider using them in the future.”

“Pico had a great stay with Hayden! Communication was so easy, Hayden sent tons of photos, and was very flexible with our pick-up times. Pico was allowed to make himself right at home and we were happy to see him so relaxed and comfortable. We will definitely book with Hayden in the future!”

“Great experience from beginning to end. It was our first time leaving Gigi with a sitter. Dew kept us updated and sent photos, which was a great comfort to us. Will definitely use her again.”

“Denise took fabulous care of our dog! He had such a wonderful time and I wasn’t sure he would want to come home. Denise sent lots of photos, was great with communication, and we knew our dog was in great hands. He will definitely be back’”

“My husband and i are so happy that we found Andrea, she loved and cared for Bronson like her own, her home was so warm, free and welcoming to our dog. It was Bronson’s first time staying with a sitter and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Andrea took him to the park and walked him daily, she also updated me on a consistent basis providing peace for me while on vacation. Her son and bronson were very good buddies, I would definitely recommend her home for your pet.”

“Our dog Daisy had such a blast at Grace‘s house! She got to run around in the big backyard with other dogs and play and she came home tired, which was so nice! Definitely would bring Daisy back”

“Absolutely Incredible Dog Sitter! We couldn’t be happier with the care our Lia received while we were away. Maxine kept us updated which only confirmed that she was having a great time and was so well taking care off. We can’t thank her enough for providing such loving care. We’ll definitely be booking again in the future!”

“Craig took excellent of my dog Tucker. Craig’s large fenced in back yard was so thrilling to Tucker that he was very tired after the visit. I will be using Craig again on a regular basis. Thanks so much Craig”

We are a family of dog lovers and cant wait to meet your fur babies. I have experience in caring for dogs ages ranging from puppy to senior. I also have experience administering oral medication. I have been a stay at home mother and homemaker for the past 11 years which allows me to have a very flexible schedule to care for your dog. I offer a variety of services. About: I have hands-on experience caring for cats of all ages, including senior cats with more complex medical needs. I’ve regularly handled nightly medication routines, including giving pills, administering oral medications with syringes, hiding medication in food when needed, applying ear creams, and even giving insulin injections. I understand how important patience and a calm approach are, especially with cats who may be nervous or not feeling their best. I always prioritize their comfort while making sure medications are given safely and correctly. In addition to medical care, I’m experienced with feeding routines, litter box maintenance, and recognizing changes in behavior or health. Whether your cat is playful, shy, or requires extra care, I will make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well looked after while you’re away.

“Lisa was great with communication and a great help with informing me of heating issues so that I was able to call my plumber on New Years Day to clear up the heating issue . So thankful to Lisa 🥰 I will definitely recommend her to anyone in need of a sitter. Thanks again Lisa for everything.”

“Candice was the sweetest pet sitter for our cat! She was patient with him and communicative with us throughout the time we were away. We would definitely rebook her in the future!”

“Exceeded expectations. I loved getting to read the little narrative Greeshma wrote about our cat after each of her visits. Would absolutely have her watch our cat again!”

About: I have worked in a veterinary hospital for nearly four years as a kennel technician, caring for cats of all ages and medical needs. I am experienced in administering oral and topical medications, monitoring for health changes, and providing care for senior or special needs cats. My clinical experience allows me to see signs of stress or illness quickly, ensuring your cat stays safe and healthy while you are away.
“Emily is the best. This was the second time she did house-sits for me and she has been a consistently great cat sitter. She even kept the dishes and sink nice and clean!”

About: I have experience watching very different kinds of cats. No matter if your cat is outgoing or shy, I would love to give them the attention they need. I also have experience feeding and cleaning up litter boxes.
“I highly recommend Nicole. She took care of my 3 cats while away for 1 week. She made sure they were all fed and well cared for- sending me video updates. By accident my cleaning lady let them out but Nicole made sure they all came safely home. When I arrived home the place was spotless.”

“Adrian dropped in for visits with our cat, Rusty, for one week. Rusty is a very fearful cat but seemed to feel comfortable to come for his meals with Adrian there. We loved receiving all the photos of our little guy and notes about how the visits had gone. Thanks for a good experience.”
“Kassidy did a wonderful job! She was on time and she played with my pups. She made them feel comfortable and they were very tired and relaxed when she left at night. I’d recommend her to anyone and I will definitely be using her again. She is fantastic.”

About: I've been around dogs all my life and I'm a big advocate for the bully breeds. I know how to hold a big strong dog that just wants to say hello. I can keep a steady pace for walks and hold tightly for random pass-by animals. Keeping commands firm and using the proper commands when the unexpected happens is something I excel in because of my experience of working with children. Fifteen plus years working with children ranging from the ages 3-11. I know a dog is part of the family, I have 2 of my own (a cat too!). I've had 10 plus in pet care and 20 plus years in pet ownership. Let me care for your fur-baby. My schedule is very clear for any pet care needs. I was working part time but now I’m looking for pet care as my job. I’m very watchful and observant from years of child care and from my own pets, I want the pets to be safe all the time.
“It was such a relief to be able to go on vacation and know our cats weren't just being fed, but truly taken care of. Stacy was very communicative and we could tell she made good friends with our cats - they still ask when shes coming back. She came over in advance to get a lay of the land and meet them and learn all their hiding spots. She even took the litter when she left so we wouldn't have to deal with it. Stacy really was wonderful and knowing our cats were being loved by someone with such great experience while we were away was such a gift!”

About: Growing up, my family adopted cats that were going to be euthanized and would re-home them. I used to teach the less desired cats tricks, so that they were more likely to get adopted❤️ So, I've always been around cats, but can't have one where I currently live. I'd really like to hang out with any cat, however they'd like.
“Jean was fantastic! She was communicative, on time, and clearly loves cats. This was our first time leaving our newly adopted cat, and she helped put our mind at ease that she would be well taken care of. We highly recommend her!”

“Irene has made my experience using Rover so easy and carefree. This is my first time leaving my dog, and she is extremely confident with her handling. I enjoy the pictures and updates she sends me throughout the day too!”

“Dew goes above and beyond for my puppy. Checks in regularly when he is in her care and even checks in when he is at home. As a first time user of a dog-sitter, I was anxious about leaving my puppy in someone else’s care. Dew almost immediately alleviated my concerns. I feel like her care has been a major benefit for me and for my puppy’s social development. Will continue to take advantage of Dew’s services for the foreseeable future. Highly recommended!”

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a child. I owned two Miniature Pinschers growing up and I adopted one Australian Shepherd mix that has special needs as an adult. I trained all of my dogs from the time they were puppies until they passed away as seniors. I also volunteered at the Humane Society of Westchester. I've always enjoyed being around animals since I was young and animals tend to feel the same way about me. Animals who are usually timid around strangers are comfortable around me right away and they seem to trust me right away. I feel like connecting with animals (dogs specifically) is a gift that I have. Being a sitter is a great way for me to use that gift in everyday life. I'm able to adapt to the normal routine of the pets that I'm sitting in order to make the process as smooth as possible. I don't have a lot of room in my studio apartment so I'm only able to watch either 1-2 small dogs or one medium sized dog. Large dogs are too big for my apartment. If I'm at a client's home, I'll change my schedule to meet the needs of the pet. I believe all animals are unique and all have different needs in order to thrive in the environment that they're in. I'm willing to meet those needs by building my schedule around the animals that I'm sitting.

My goal is for your pet to feel like they are in a second home when with me. I work from home so your pets will have me with them all day. If I do need to run errands during the day I am never gone for longer then an hour at a time. I have a small fenced in yard where dogs can be off leash and of course I am able to proved leashed walk as well. I do have 2 very friendly small bred dogs of my own.

About: I have been an animal lover my whole life, but didn’t truly realize my appreciation for them until high school when I started pet sitting (over ten years ago!) I would watch my friends’ pets when they were on vacation, and felt compelled to make the pets’ stay with me a vacation as well 🐶😊. Since I started watching dogs I always considered them my PIC (partner in crime.). I take them with me on all my adventuress! They meet all my family and friends, and I have even taken a dog on a weekend trip to Block Island (with owners permission of course!) These days, I am home most of the day. I have a small business, which I run out of my home. I am home for majority of the day, but often have to step out for no more than 2 hours at a time. I typically give dogs 2 long walks (30-40 minutes) a day, and take them out in the yard and small walks down the street at least 5 times a day. They get potty breaks every 2-3 hours. I am a VERY active person. I am a marathon runner and avid hiker. No matter what your dog’s activity level is, I will be sure to tucker them out🐶😂. My typical morning and evening walk for dogs is a mile and a half around the reservoir trail in my back yard. I am more than happy to adjust to match your dog’s needs. I live on a small private street. My family and dear neighbors are all nearby. My large yard, close knit community, woods, reservoir trails and loving family truly is a paradise for dogs🐶😊❤️ My schedule varies every day. I can be in and out throughout the day, but never away from home for more than 2-3 hours at a a time. I am typically home for the day by 3pm. Some days I am home all day! It really depends on the week. I live alone and have no pets. I live in a private street with lots of land to explore. I never take dogs off leash when we are outside.
“Brenda was well prepared and handled our dog with great care. She has an outdoor area for the dogs to play in and plenty of indoor space as well. “Chloe is the best! She took care of my 10 month old puppy, Hazel, while I was at work for the day & Hazel had the best time! She loved running around with Chloe’s two sweet puppies who are so friendly and playful! Chloe sent me several updates, pictures and videos throughout the day. I could tell she made a special effort to help Hazel feel comfortable in her new environment for the day. Highly recommended, will be calling Chloe again for doggy daycare soon!”
“Tessia was great! She updated me periodically to let me know how my dog was doing through updates via the Rover app. She was also great enough to pick my dog up and drop him off as needed! Would recommend her to anyone!”

About: I grew up having dogs! My family had the sweetest golden retriever growing up. She loved going for walks and loved meeting new people. We took care of her through an injury and arthritis which made walking challenging. My family got another dog who is a giant mix rescue with a very different temperament. She is terrified of new people and hates the mailman but I have worked with her to interact with others and work through some of her fears. I have also spent a lot of time with friends and family dogs and have dog sat a few times, too. I am looking for summer care options as I will have free time since I am a full-time teacher. I would be able to help out during the day. I am a reliable person who takes care of people's property. I will follow all instructions left by owners and do everything I can for their fur babies. I can walk, feed, and clean up after pets.
“Adrian is terrific and very experienced. He started walking my large shepherd during the heat wave last week and paced the one hour walk perfectly and with water breaks to where she, who hates the heat, happily made it through the whole walk. We will be using him full time, M-F. Highly recommend.”

“Vijaya treated my dog as her own, and was an excellent sitter. She gave my dog lots of exercise, attention, and love. She took care to follow all instructions, and sent daily updates. I felt my dog was in great hands. I highly recommend her!”

“This is my second time having my fur baby with Sue. It was a much longer visit this time (a week) amd Sue remained her kind communicative self. Would recommend in a heartbeat. She goes above and beyond. Thank you! 💕”

“Great experience from beginning to end. It was our first time leaving Gigi with a sitter. Dew kept us updated and sent photos, which was a great comfort to us. Will definitely use her again.”

“Irene and her family are warm, kind, communicative and very responsible dog boarders - our dog Ollie likes being with them so much he barely registers when I drop him off and comes home happy and calm after staying with Irene. I can’t recommend her more for watching your pup!”

“Jessica was so amazing!! I felt so confident with my sweet girl Daisy being in her and her daughter’s hands. She got so much love and care. Jessica was so in tune with her needs and incredible at communicating with me. I could tell Daisy was so happy and comfortable. Highly recommend Jessica!”

“Maddie was a life saviour, on very short notice she took care of our dog, she updated us while she had our dog and took great care of her…I highly recommend her…”

“Our dog Daisy had such a blast at Grace‘s house! She got to run around in the big backyard with other dogs and play and she came home tired, which was so nice! Definitely would bring Daisy back”

“Thank you Sam! She’s our go to for help with our puppy Ruby - Sam is so sweet with her as she takes a while to warm up to new people, she takes very good care of Ruby, reaches out with questions and always follows our sometimes wordy instructions!”

“Ilona is an amazing dog sitter, she cared so much for Mango, when I went away for a few days. I knew Mango would be in good hands with her, and sure enough on my return, I could tell Mango had made a special bond with Ilona and her family. She sent me many pics, where Mango was having a ball. You could call it a doggy vacation for sure, as he was pampered with lots of love, treats, company and walks to the dog park. Thank you, will totally be using Ilona's services again and would highly recommend her!”

About: Animals are basically part of my DNA. I’ve been walking dogs and pet sitting since I was a child, and I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, and other animals. I’ve also been riding and caring for horses my entire life, which means I’m very comfortable with responsibility, routines, and understanding animal behavior. I have hands-on experience with pets of all sizes, ages, and personalities—from energetic dogs who love long walks and playtime to seniors who need a calmer pace and extra TLC. I’m great at reading animal cues, keeping routines consistent, and making sure pets feel safe, happy, and loved. I truly treat every pet as if they were my own. I work from home, so pets are never left alone and are part of my daily routine. My home sits on 3 acres of private property surrounded by a state park, which means lots of space for play and long walks or hikes. Safety and trust are always my top priorities. I care for pets by treating them like part of the family, whether they’re in my home or theirs. I stick closely to each pet’s usual routine—including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and rest—so they feel comfortable and secure. I make sure dogs get plenty of supervised exercise, enrichment, and attention throughout the day. I’m attentive to individual needs, whether that means extra activity for high-energy dogs, gentle care for seniors, or patience and consistency with puppies. I also keep pet parents updated with messages and photos so they can feel confident their pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.
About: I’ve taken care of my childhood dog from puppy to senior. I enjoyed training and grooming my puppy and making my senior dog a power bowl. I am a very active person - a hiker, marathoner, boxer, and cyclist, I can exhaust your furry babies however they want! And I particularly have a good sense of reading animal behavior, meaning if your dog needs a therapist, I am a very good listener;) I currently work flexible hours, so I have plenty of time to give your furry babies attention any time of the day. Boarding, walking and house sitting are all welcome weekdays or weekends. Boarding: I am in a 2bd condo with balcony without any pet in a quiet neighborhood. I am walking distance to a lot of trails (paved and non-paved) that your dog can take advantage of. Sitting: tell me your pet’s routine, I will be accountable!
