About: Experienced dog walker and pet care taker. I want to take care of pets during the week so my dog Mabel has friends to interact with. I work full time remote as an engineer, so I am at home most of the time. I let Mabel out at least 4 times day and we go for a nice walk after work. I have a big unfenced yard with a 30 ft radius dog leash. Very nice neighborhood to walk in. Lots of space in the apartment and can be separated comfortably if needed.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, both breeder and rescue! I understand the patience, love, and discipline all dogs need, and am ready to give them my all when in my care! My schedule is flexible if there’s two weeks notice. I work on a daily/weekly schedule in the restaurant and film industry, so if I have aforementioned advanced notice I can plan to be home for as long as needed for a pup! While I have no yard of my own, I am near Mellon Park and a couple blocks away from family that will allow me to use their fenced-in backyard as needed! All of my friends and family are dog lovers, so if anyone visits my apartment, your dog will be double cuddled and spoiled and loved (Note: I will be the primary caregiver, I will not cede care of your pet to anyone else while working. I will always be present)! I have plenty of healthy treats as well, and if no specific bed is provided for a lodging stay, I’m willing to buy one myself. Dogs are allowed on couches/chairs with some blankets I already have, and I will put their bed next to me in my room during the night. I love taking walks around the neighborhood and enjoying food, and obviously would have some eager canine company to join me!

My professional experience includes wildlife rehabilitation, vet assistance, and kennel work. I worked at the Pittsburgh Zoo for 10 years, providing animal care to a large range of species from reptiles to birds to bugs. I love all animals and can't wait to meet yours and let them feel cared for in any special way they need while you are away. Thank you for considering me! I currently have a wide-open schedule, allowing lots of time for play and special attention to any specific care requirements. I am available for overnight care, walks during the week, but sorry no boarding at this time. I am extremely responsible and attentive to detail - I understand that each individual animal requires different care and attention, and I am prepared to provide whatever they need. About: I’m from LA, where I worked for a dog hiking service where we started each morning with a group hike, came back home for daycare, and boarded dogs overnight. I love all dogs, big + small, and know how important it is for them not just to be well taken care of, but happy! Now it’s just me and my dog (Micho) in Pittsburgh exploring the trails around the city, and we would love to bring your pup along! As a graduate student, I have a flexible schedule + take multiple walks a day, short hikes a couple times a week, and longer day trips on the weekends. Because I only take one dog at a time, my time will be completely devoted to your dog for one-on-one play, walks, snuggling, and everything in between.
