About: I have been around dogs since I was 3 years old. I have always had family dogs and now own an 8 year old German Shepherd. I have pet sat for friends and family since I was in middle school. About: I probably get along with dogs more than I do people. I've grown up with many, and have rescued most of the ones I have owned. Dogs are so much more than pets to me, they are family! “Melinda is the best!! She house set for us for a week...I have a very high energy dog and an older dog with a very progressive cancer and she is wonderful with both. I have never seen my dogs (and I have rescued dogs for 35+ years in 2 states) be so calm, happy and absolutely not stressed when we got home. Melinda walked the dogs every day, kept them on their medication regime and feeding schedule, and gave them cuddles and attention the entire time we were gone. She even took care of feeding my wild squirrels, rabbits, raccoons, possums while I was gone. I truly can not say enough about how happy I am with the care she gave my babies!!!!! I will definitely be using her again for all of our doggy care --drop in and walking visits, day checks and any overnights, and all long term house sitting.
