About: Whether I am watching children or pets, it is my goal to never ever let my watchee feel discomfort sadness pain or boredom. It's ALWAYS my mission that my child or pet feel loved entertained and spoiled. I think its also good to provide a place that feels welcoming relaxed and at home. My greatest attributes as a caretaker are being able to put myself in their "shoes" , very good eye and ear for detail, be observative and in tune to feelings and moods and even tho I love to spoil, have boundaries. Cause pets and children not only need structure , but they will respect you more for it and feel more secure. I love like they're mine. Thanks so much. Ya all. I am currently going to school taking on line classes, so I am available anytime. I prefer noon or after and late evening is fine I don't currently furbaby sit at my own place, however I will follow any direction and guidelines you have for caring at your place anytime

15. Andru R.
About: While I’ve had pets of many shapes, sizes, and species since I was wee, I’ve been caretaking dogs, cats, rats, and birds for at least 25 of my 40 years. I’ve pursued a career in grooming to be able to work with dogs, and in that time I’ve learned exponentially more about reading and calming many types of dogs from giant St. Bernard’s and Newfoundlands to tea-cup poodles and chihuahuas, with border collies, shepherds, labs, mutts, and more mixed in. Every dog I have worked with has left considering me a friend, and many have decided that I’m their new favorite person, often “abandoning” their owners when they see me for their appointments. I specialize in “fear free” grooming, which basically means I let the dog tell me what they are willing to handle, and gently try to work them through the best groom possible; or necessary, as the situation may be. This is most important with both puppies still learning the big, wide world - and senior dogs, as they often need adaptive care as they age, developing sore spots and other age related issues… or just being old enough to be grumpy - and deserving thoughtful care because of it. I am also hypersensitive to individual needs of animals, and have accommodated many animals with specific dietary needs or medicinal care, always adhering to the schedule that their family has found best for the animal. When I house sit, I do my best to make it a mini-vacation for the pets, rather than a time that they’ve been separated from their family, which always makes for a positive homecoming. As a freelance groomer, I have control of my own schedule, and can offer extreme flexibility in my schedule to best accommodate individual needs with a reasonable amount of communication. While I do not have the ability to offer overnight pet sitting in my own home, my wife is handling the doggy daycare, and when in another’s home, I ask for detailed instructions on where to find and/or how to use everything the animal needs so I can ensure the least amount of disruption in the home as a whole. Depending on the needs, (check in vs. overnight, etc.), I will establish a plan with the owner to make sure their furry family is as well taken care of as if they were still home. If this means watching TV for an hour while I pet an animal on my lap, that animal gets all the pets and the TV is just a bonus to pass the time. If the animal needs active play, tell me what toys they prefer, and we will have the best time ever. I truly tailor the animal’s experience to their individual needs and circumstances.

20. Jessica S.
About: Hello all you proud pet owners! My name is Jessica! I've always had a strong love for dogs and am thrilled to be a caregiver. I understand that all dogs, like people, have different personalities and needs. If they require playtime in the park or simple walk around the block, I'm your girl! If they need a quiet sitdown with lots of cuddles or lots of running and cuddles! Or just need someone to check in and give them treats. If you need someone to watch them over the weekend I have a huge yard and a warm safe house. They will be well fed and if they have a diet preference, I'm sure I can accommodate that! If you have a kitty that needs looking after I can do that as well! Hello! I’m available Monday through Saturday, from 6 AM to 6 PM. I can accommodate early morning, midday, or evening bookings, depending on client needs. My home is pet-friendly, safe, and spacious for both dogs and cats. We have a large, secure yard where pets can play and explore comfortably and safely.
