17. Andru R.
About: While I’ve had pets of many shapes, sizes, and species since I was wee, I’ve been caretaking dogs, cats, rats, and birds for at least 25 of my 40 years. I’ve pursued a career in grooming to be able to work with dogs, and in that time I’ve learned exponentially more about reading and calming many types of dogs from giant St. Bernard’s and Newfoundlands to tea-cup poodles and chihuahuas, with border collies, shepherds, labs, mutts, and more mixed in. Every dog I have worked with has left considering me a friend, and many have decided that I’m their new favorite person, often “abandoning” their owners when they see me for their appointments. I specialize in “fear free” grooming, which basically means I let the dog tell me what they are willing to handle, and gently try to work them through the best groom possible; or necessary, as the situation may be. This is most important with both puppies still learning the big, wide world - and senior dogs, as they often need adaptive care as they age, developing sore spots and other age related issues… or just being old enough to be grumpy - and deserving thoughtful care because of it. I am also hypersensitive to individual needs of animals, and have accommodated many animals with specific dietary needs or medicinal care, always adhering to the schedule that their family has found best for the animal. When I house sit, I do my best to make it a mini-vacation for the pets, rather than a time that they’ve been separated from their family, which always makes for a positive homecoming. As a freelance groomer, I have control of my own schedule, and can offer extreme flexibility in my schedule to best accommodate individual needs with a reasonable amount of communication. While I do not have the ability to offer overnight pet sitting in my own home, my wife is handling the doggy daycare, and when in another’s home, I ask for detailed instructions on where to find and/or how to use everything the animal needs so I can ensure the least amount of disruption in the home as a whole. Depending on the needs, (check in vs. overnight, etc.), I will establish a plan with the owner to make sure their furry family is as well taken care of as if they were still home. If this means watching TV for an hour while I pet an animal on my lap, that animal gets all the pets and the TV is just a bonus to pass the time. If the animal needs active play, tell me what toys they prefer, and we will have the best time ever. I truly tailor the animal’s experience to their individual needs and circumstances.

18. Tabitha M.
About: I've always been a pet lover! I've had dogs and cats since the age of 5. My goal is to spoil them rotten, give them the best care possible, and ensure they feel loved always! I'm currently working what Dolly Parton sings about, that 9 to 5. However on the weekends or some weekdays I'm available to help take care of your furbabies. I have two cats/dogs and I give them their own spaces. My two dogs are kenneled trained, if your dogs are to I'm already in the know! As for cats, I know everyone has their own personalities and they are all unique.

19. Ryan G.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. In the past year I spent a lot of time in a professional doggy daycare handling 25+ dogs at once. I currently work full time, looking for something to do on weekends to keep me occupied. I love dogs and look forward to sitting your pups! My dogs have always spent a lot of time outside even though they were inside dogs. We would always go on long walks, swims, and other adventures.

20. Cori J.
“Cori is AMAZING! She pup sits for us quite often. We gave 2 fur babies that don’t like to be left alone. She is so loving to them both. She treats them like babies, not animals. They love her & so do we.”
