About: I have been around dogs since I was 3 years old. I have always had family dogs and recently lost my German Shepherd. I have pet sat for friends and family since I was in middle school. I work from home so I will be able to drop in multiple times throughout the day. I currently do not have kids so am very flexible with my time. I can stay overnight in your house with your animals and drop in multiple times a day. I have a lot of experience with strong dogs and enjoy taking dogs on adventures or just walks around the neighborhood.
About: Growing up I always had big dogs, and I currently have a pit mix and a chihuahua/dachshund mix. That being said, I am more than capable of wrangling your big dogs on a walk and handling any reactivity they might display. I’m also extremely comfortable with the little pups and their possible sass! I’m happy to take a nice, meandering walk with your senior dog or a run with your energetic puppy, and I will of course give them all the love and affectionate they could possibly want :) I also love cats and have experience watching both kittens and adult cats. I do work full time during the week, but I am available in the weekday evenings (around 4:30) and all day Saturday, Sunday, and some Fridays. Let me know your pet’s love language! Do they like long walks around the neighborhood? Snuggling on the couch? Perhaps a nice Kong full of peanut butter to wind down after a long day? About: I've always had pets and I grew up on a dairy farm. I've bottle fed calves and lambs, raised dogs and leash trained them, cared for horses, chickens, almost always had cats, and even kept pet rats! I worked at a dog kennel and groomer at one time briefly, although the environment of a kennel leaves much to be desired as animals kept as pets are best kept in a home environment where possible. My 20 years is just an estimate of collective time with animals really, I am 33 years old. I have commitments to my church every Wednesday and Saturday evening and Sunday mornings. But during the days and even after services I can make time for potty visits or litter care etc. I am courteous of others' belongings and if I am doing a house call I will be diligent to leave things in good order, even in an improved state if possible.
