“Melinda is the best!! She house set for us for a week...I have a very high energy dog and an older dog with a very progressive cancer and she is wonderful with both. I have never seen my dogs (and I have rescued dogs for 35+ years in 2 states) be so calm, happy and absolutely not stressed when we got home. Melinda walked the dogs every day, kept them on their medication regime and feeding schedule, and gave them cuddles and attention the entire time we were gone. She even took care of feeding my wild squirrels, rabbits, raccoons, possums while I was gone. I truly can not say enough about how happy I am with the care she gave my babies!!!!! I will definitely be using her again for all of our doggy care --drop in and walking visits, day checks and any overnights, and all long term house sitting. If you are looking for someone that is trustworthy, loving with the pets, will adhere to schedules, go above and beyond, and just an all around gem, then Melinda is your person!!”

About: There’s not a pet in the world I’ve met that I didn’t get along with. Lots of experience with senior dogs and specialized diets for dietary restrictions. Certified medical assistant so broad medical knowledge that helps with animals as well. Right now, I’m flexible to do a lot of different services. I work in central Pensacola and can stop in for potty breaks and short walks during the work day and can do overnight stays if needed. I respect my client’s home, space, and furry family member. I was raised by military parents that instilled very good morals and values in me.

All pups are allowed on the beds & furniture if that is what they prefer! About: Most of my experience is with dogs and cats of all ages. However, I have helped friends out with taking care of an axolotl, frogs, turtle, birds, and chickens. I really just love all animals! I'm a great listener and follow directions well when it comes to making sure I meet the needs of your pet that you request. I've been a stay at home mom for the past few years. I am finally at a place where I can work again and I want to do something that makes me happy and brings others joy. Caring for others families pets is a great responsibility bc you want to make sure they are taken care of the way you would be caring for them. Each clients home is set up differently. Also, every person's pet is different and has different personalities. So to say how I would care for them in your home is hard to answer bc it would depend on how your setup is and how you want me to care for them. If you have a fenced in yard then we can openly play outside. If you do not we can leash walk and there's always dog parks. Each client will have individual needs and requirements depending on their situation I'm sure.

About: I've taken care of all kinds of pets since I was a little girl. I have tons of experience with bathing, walking, and even giving meds. I have schooling but I graduate soon. I'm online so I have plenty of time on my hands. Taking care of animals is what I love and is a perfect way to fill my schedule. I have a large land (8.9 acres). I only have 2 dogs and they are very well trained. I was raised to "leave it better than I found it" so I will never snoop or trash any home.
