“Heather did an amazing job with our two large dogs. We have an 85lb Belgian Malinois who came to us from a kill shelter with a bite history, and is insecure around strangers in general. He warmed right up to her (I think he fell in love) and didn't want her to go!! Heather was even able to shave off a giant patch of hardened tree pitch from his belly, which I didn't get to before I left! (Remember, he is a Belgian and they climb trees) Our other dog is an older German Shepherd and Heather took amazing care of her as well, giving her walks and medicine when needed. Usually when we return from a trip the dogs freak out and are super needy, wanting attention because they have been ignored, and hyper because they have not been exercised well. Not the case here!! They acknowledged us and went to bed, the perfect response. Finally, I must say that if I hadn't seen the sheets in the wash I would have never thought she actually lived here during that time. The house was immaculate. If I could, I would adopt Heather into our family!”

About: What sets me apart as a pet sitter is my hands-on experience with a variety of animals. I raised my golden retriever and also helped rescue and care for a dog from the streets. Additionally, I've cared for baby kittens, giving me a well-rounded background in both puppy and kitten care. As a weekday nanny, I have a break from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM, which allows me to provide mid-day care for pets. I ensure their living area is clean and safe, and I provide plenty of companionship and attention. “Anne was phenomenal. She took care of our 2 dogs and 3 horses while we were gone for a week. I had assured her that the horses would be low maintenance and that she'd just need to check waters. HAHAHA ! We had a horse end up with stitches a week or so before our trip and I was worried about infection. Turns out Anne used to work at a vet clinic. She reassured us she wasn't too worried about it and was happy to help with the extra care and feeding meds. Because of the distance we were from her (Ennis) she did ask about bringing her dog to stay. We did a quick meet and greet to make sure everyone got along and it was all greet. Cub seems like a well behaved good boy. Anne's communication during our trip was top notch and very positive. She never seemed bothered about us checking in and also provided us updates and pictures without us asking for them. We came home to a clean house, a clean yard (which was above and beyond) and a guest room. She had washed all her bedding and had made the bed as well. Our mail was on the table and the sink empty of any dirty dishes. She let us know when she was leaving and asked how we wanted our nightime chores done since we're arriving a day earlier than planned. I can't recommend her highly enough.”

About: I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, etc. since I was in high school and always love being active with animals, as well as helping them be healthy! I’ve helped diabetic dogs, active dogs, and lazy cats. I’m working part time and live in Jackson currently. I’ll be able to regularly cater to you and your pets needs! I look forwards to seeing your pets on both weekdays and weekends. I do not have any pets at my apartment (unfortunately) but this means that yours will get all of my attention! I am active and love taking dogs out on hikes, but also am fine with a nice calm stroll. Living in Jackson is a great plus for this since there is so much open space for your pet and I to explore!
