About: I’ve had a furry friend my entire life, and have looked after animals that need immediate or intense care, or are in need of a home for 12 years. I work from home and am able to take breaks as needed to care for pets. I have most things delivered and rarely leave home for more than an hour at a time. I have a fenced in 1/2 acre backyard where pets can run around and play! I live in a low traffic area making it ideal for taking walks.

“Wendy was punctual, friendly, loving toward my kitties, and followed their routines precisely. My two kitties, Lenny and Lucy, were well-taken care of, I could tell. Lucy never once came out for Wendy (Lenny was the opposite; he provided entertainment for her, lol), but when I got home, Lucy was so relaxed, it was clear that she was not nervous or distressed---she felt cared for! About: My whole life my parents have had dogs so I’ve grown up around dogs since I was an infant, this also means that they’ve had quite a few different puppies over the years and I have helped train them. I am the go to person for all of my friends and family. If they need someone to watch their pets while they’re gone I absolutely love seeing their animals and taking care of them and I treat everyone’s animals as if they’re my own and do the things that I would want others to do for my pets. During the school year, I work as a teaching assistant at an elementary school. This means that my summers are very open and free to watch others pets and give them plenty of love and attention. I care for pets in others homes as if they were my own pet, I will make sure to play with them and feed them and get them outside, but also just cuddle them if they like that and give them the space if they also would prefer that.

About: I’m knowledgeable in breed-specific needs and maintain consistency to keep them mentally and physically happy! I have previously taken dog behavior courses and am familiar with dog body language. I have worked with dogs of all sizes and ages! No dog is “too much!” I am comfortable with administering medications and providing grooming for long haired/high maintenance breeds. I have worked with puppies all the way up to senior dogs so I am comfortable handling all ages. I have a full-time job but am more than happy to fit time in to take care of your lovely fur baby. My typical shift is 8:00-4:30pm M-F. I have open availability on weekends to provide housesitting! If you are looking for constant care (pet cannot be left alone for 4 hours or more), I am happy to provide that however, I do charge a constant care rate if during the work week as I will need to take those days off and I will need to recoup lost salary. For constant care pets, I do require at least a month’s notice ahead of time so I can get that time off to accommodate. I will never take a sit if my work schedule cannot accommodate it—your pet’s care and safety is extremely important to me. I will work with you to decide if I am the right fit for your pet’s needs and routine. Nothing is worse than upsetting your pet’s routine and comfortability! I now offer drop-visits as well! This is great for people who might need someone to check in your fur baby a couple times a day but does not need around-the-clock needs. I am happy to drop in before work (8am) and can drop by after work! If you’re someone who works longer shifts, this is perfect for you! I am comfortable crating your pet if requested but they are also more than welcome to share a bed with me if they are used to sleeping with you! If you have an unfenced yard, I will keep them on leash at all times. If you have a fenced yard, I will stay out and monitor them until they are ready to come inside. Doors will be locked at all times whether I am in the home with your pet or if I’m at work. If you have any home-alarm systems, I will use them as well.
