Cat Sitting in Jackson

About: I enjoy caring for cats, dogs, and even reptiles. I currently have 4 cats and a bearded dragon of my own. I have been around animals my entire life. I am able to give medicine to cats and dogs. I am able to walk dogs as well. I work full time M-F. I am available mostly on weekends for dogs but I can do drop in for cats and other animals that need only once or twice drop ins during the week. I prefer to care for a dog in their own home but will assess each request for caring in my home. My cats are not fans of dogs but I am able to separate them into their own space. I am patient and kind when caring for animals. I won’t leave a dog outside on its own and will play catch to help tire them out. I will work with the owner’s instructions for care for feeding times and anything else.

“Wendy was punctual, friendly, loving toward my kitties, and followed their routines precisely. My two kitties, Lenny and Lucy, were well-taken care of, I could tell. Lucy never once came out for Wendy (Lenny was the opposite; he provided entertainment for her, lol), but when I got home, Lucy was so relaxed, it was clear that she was not nervous or distressed---she felt cared for! About: Your dog will be my dog while in my care. I am a huge animal lover who has always made my animals a part of my family, not just an animal. Starting May 4th, I will be training for a new job. My training hours will be 8-5, if you can work around those time please reach out. My yard is not fenced so your babies will only be outside when I am out there with them, leashed if required. I do not agree with leaving a dog alone all night when they are already seeing a difference with their family being gone. If they are dog friendly they would have socialization as well with my friends and family dogs so they could get some interaction and extra exercise! I currently work from home so frequent potty breaks or administration of medication would not be an issue. We would be one big happy family all day long My dogs are not crated when I leave the house but do have an extra large one if required for your baby. If you need me to do a drop in visit, my hours for availability are in the air for the next couple of weeks until I am given my new works hours.

It was Rangers first time being left at home while we took a trip and Lauren met with us briefly to get familiar with Ranger. She sends insightful updates. About: I’m knowledgeable in breed-specific needs and maintain consistency to keep them mentally and physically happy! I have previously taken dog behavior courses and am familiar with dog body language. I have worked with dogs of all sizes and ages! No dog is “too much!” I am comfortable with administering medications and providing grooming for long haired/high maintenance breeds. I have worked with puppies all the way up to senior dogs so I am comfortable handling all ages. I have a full-time job but am more than happy to fit time in to take care of your lovely fur baby. My typical shift is 8:00-4:30pm M-F. I have open availability on weekends to provide housesitting! If you are looking for constant care (pet cannot be left alone for 4 hours or more), I am happy to provide that however, I do charge a constant care rate if during the work week as I will need to take those days off and I will need to recoup lost salary. For constant care pets, I do require at least a month’s notice ahead of time so I can get that time off to accommodate. I will never take a sit if my work schedule cannot accommodate it—your pet’s care and safety is extremely important to me. I will work with you to decide if I am the right fit for your pet’s needs and routine. Nothing is worse than upsetting your pet’s routine and comfortability! I now offer drop-visits as well! This is great for people who might need someone to check in your fur baby a couple times a day but does not need around-the-clock needs. I am happy to drop in before work (8am) and can drop by after work! If you’re someone who works longer shifts, this is perfect for you! I am comfortable crating your pet if requested but they are also more than welcome to share a bed with me if they are used to sleeping with you! If you have an unfenced yard, I will keep them on leash at all times. If you have a fenced yard, I will stay out and monitor them until they are ready to come inside. Doors will be locked at all times whether I am in the home with your pet or if I’m at work. If you have any home-alarm systems, I will use them as well.

About: I’ve had my dog for more than 5 years and he’s my best friend. I’ve always loved dogs and when I have family or friends going on vacation or leaving just for a few hours I’m always sitting for them. I have the energy to go on walks or runs with dogs or even play around with cats. I am currently unemployed because of family issues and most times I am free to do anything. There are days where I take a family member to their doctor appointments and I just work around them. When I take care of pets in clients home I always ask them important questions like, is your dog potty train?, when to feed him/her?, are they okay with me going outside to play with them?, are they allowed on the furniture or not, and etc: I always make sure to know about they pets before they leave them with me.

About: What sets me aside from the average sitter is I don't just think of your animals as just your pet but as your own human kid. I treat it as it's equal and deserves my eyes and not my phones camera lens. Your pet, and everyone's pet human child deserves a fresh mind. I can help them even achieve any goals/tricks. I'll come with a handful of treats ready to start our day. Pet Care fits in my routine by a breeze. I'm a stay at home mom of 2. I wake up early prepare breakfast, pack lunches, get them ready and off to school they go. I get home do a little morning clean up as I do that I can easily exercise and play with your pet. After the morning clean up (which can always wait till later) I'm ready for your pet and Mine's adventure. At my home I have a fenced in yard, that's a decent size for small or large pets. I am close to dog friendly walking parks/trails. My neighborhood has a sidewalk that wraps around the block so its a nice for morning stroll.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 13. I have a puppy of my own who lovesss to socialize. I love to go on walks and car rides and go the park and can’t forget Starbucks and puppicinos. Taking dog and cat naps are cool too! I currently work 3 days a week so I have a lot of free time . I also am willing to work with pet parents on certain availabilities if needed. I have a fur baby who I usually take to the park , I only have a front yard , so we like to go to nice parks with bigger spaces to walk and run around !

About: Animals are such a joy to have around! I’ve helped take care of dogs & cats most of my life, & have some experience with puppy training & taking care of older doggos. I’m a freelance artist with a flexible schedule! Happy to adapt to the wants & needs of you & your pets. Currently without any pets of my own, so I can give full attention to yours. Mindful & respectful when house/pet sitting in another person’s home. I do my best to clean up after myself, & honor the wants & needs of each pet being watched. Currently not able to host pets at my home.
